I want to hear all about synopses and see what people are doing! I'm hoping it will help inspire me to work hard on my novel this year even though I'm going to be very, very busy!
A young man is murdered by an enemy faction while trying to get away with a set of ancient runes. Said runes bind his soul to a clockwork construct, putting him inside this new, metal body. Now, with the help of two homeless friends looking for a way out, he seeks to regain his human body while also trying to get revenge on those that killed him and his family and avoid other factions attempting to capture him for use as a machine of war.

I am writing book three of my character Merin's background story. Basically, just taking up where I left off. His first two are on his site, those I did last year and the year before.
I'm picking up an old project, but... it's not exactly a novel. I'm going to be writing it as a series of short stories, rather than typical chapters.
It's something I was going to do to help bring more attention to a world I was working on (the world that a few of my characters are intended for, actually; Kyra & Sari, Taryn, and Gregor/Panther Corp) back when I was developing it as an open RP setting. It's an exploratory thing meant to introduce people to the world via stories in it, and the common thread will be a semi-mechanical golem that gained sentience as it travels around and tries not to get torn apart by angry mobs. ^^

The TV show "The Bachelor" set in fruity medieval-era pseudo-France. Also the bachelor is just so gay.

My MC is an inventress and she gets called to work on an airship that needs repairs. However, it's a trap! She gets kidnapped and taken to this pipework island, where several other inventors have been brought. They are forced to build machines to face off against each other one on one, gladiator-style; the winner lives and proceeds to the next round, the loser dies. The MC obviously is the winner, and she gets released while the antagonist takes her invention and uses it to take over the city. She has to figure out how to stop the invention she made unstoppable.
