So, this year I was torn between doing a purely-pants type situation (I have literally zero ideas--maybe dragons??? maybe) and adding another stack of words onto Oathbreaker, which is the second book of the Heartseeker series. My problem with that, however, is that Oathbreaker is technically a "finished draft," as in I wrote scenes from the beginning to the end, so I can't just pick up from where I left off. I'd have to fill in gaps, which as everyone here knows, is quite a bit trickier! I know there's room for another 100k+ words in it, I just didn't know where to put them.

But! I just looked back at my Oathbreaker scrivener document to see if I had made any outline notes--I know Redbeard and I discussed it a little over summer--and much to my delight, I have WAY more notes than I thought! There's also some wiggle room to squeeze in random ideas on the fly. Yeeee! I'm so excited to get started now!

(Oathbreaker is still a working title--the other two books are Swordsworn and Starcrossed, so I'd prefer if Oathbreaker was adjectival. Maybe Oathbroken? Hmmm ...)
Oathbreaker or Broken Oath are probably the best. Oathbroken is a little odd... But who knows, that might work to catch attention!

Congrats on the notes! That's such a relief.
