Anyways I meant to type that Vensyn looked at him, puzzled when he began shedding buckles" and for whatever exhausted brain reason I typed shitting. Admittedly I DID catch it before I was ready to paste my post in but I laughed like a sick donkey and just went ahead and posted it anyways

I've been picking away at mine tonight, I'm trying to get another wind like earlier today and just blast through like 3k words before i realize what I've done but it's not happening.

I came in to work today ready to write a bunch more words (because boss is out, so its slow), but...turns out I have a major case of derpy brain. Dunno if it's anxiety because I have an interview today? (trying to replace my parttime cleaning job because it suuuucks)
But I've been derpybrained all day, and I just got up to go get something from the printer, only to find out I already got it.
So....I feel like blankhead.

Despite derpy brain, I ended yesterday with 10k! Very pleased about staying ahead! I'm gonna see how much I can write today while at work, because both my boss and my manager are out for the day, and 90% of my workload comes from them. (The nature of my job isn't the type where I can 'find work for myself', unless it's general office housekeeping).

I ended last night with 25k I read from my posts last year that on this day I had 30k at 6pm? So I need to make sure I get ahead of that. I seem to be writing at roughly the same pace

Dray, Don't compare yourself to others. There is always going to be someone faster. I see people on the main nano site forums ahead of me and I'm like ????? I have an advantage of being able to spend more hours a day than the average person, working on my novel, and I've been writing and pumping out a lot of words for a really long-ass time. Not to mention I spent the previous month outlining, planning and making notes.
Phew, I'm glad that I got ahead last week; as expected, I couldn't do any writing Saturday or Sunday. Today was also extremely busy, but I'm currently still ahead with almost 17,000 words.

Woo woo, go guys! I couldn't write between Thursday and Sunday, so I was stuck at 6.7k for a while, but yesterday I managed to get to 8k. Still behind, but not TOO terribly. Of course, I have another convention this weekend and will be gone Thurs-Sun again -_-
The struggle is real, Heimdall! I'm a little ahead, but having many days where I can't write, so it's making me eek closer and closer to where I'm supposed to be, which I don't like!

30,000 words in ten days. On top of multiple family events, working two jobs, and trying to keep up normal domestic life like grocery-shopping and cleaning.

I'm at about 18k as of last night. It feels good to be ahead but not by such a significant margin that I'm sacrificing work/life balance! It's a good reminder that I could be focusing and doing more outside of November.

Dray, I think this is a record for me. I know some of my Facebook memories have been saying about being in the 20ks around this time, but not 30k.
