Hello NaNo friends!
How is everyone doing? Is anyone doing a midnight start?
My partner has to be up early the next day, so this year I might not do a midnight start, but I am ready to type.

Well crap. I just realized I'm actually likely to have a decent amount of free time this November, but have absolutely no plan, and I can't quite decide if I want to try again.
No midnight start though, at least. I have to be up and alert on the 1st.

Nova, you definitely should! Just pants it!
I'll be getting a good start tomorrow night, I hope. I have no plot and no characters, but I DO have a setting, so we'll see what happens!

AUGH CRAP THAT'S TOMORROW!
I am very closely contemplating throwing my current plans to date out the window (ie, shelfing the idea for another time), and doing something completely different.
What, you ask?
I have no. Clue. I just kind of lost muse on my current plan
SO YEAH I'M LIKE WAIT WHAAAAA
Plus seriously important things happened lately like getting engaged so I haven't had any time to think about it.
EDIT:
So, a flash of inspiration hit me, inspired by an RP I'm currently having! My character is a god (mythical, elemental, that kinda thing), and he falls in love with this human girl. Well he's immortal and she's not, so she obviously dies. But each time, he begins a new quest to find her reincarnated form. How does he know it's her? Her voice. Her singing voice is the one constant that comes through all of her lives. So he throughout the years he searches for her until he finds her, and they fall in love all over again. In old eras this means going to festivals, markets, taverns, etc. In modern times, he's scrolling Youtube, going to all the underground events, hitting every small-town performance he can find until he finds her.
