Guys, I did it! I hit gold!! I found something my muse was really interested in!!
After just telling my fiance last night that I was thinking I'd have to pack it in and give up, I found the right story idea and I've already written 2k words today!!
I'm using an old X-Men OC as my main character; it's a girl who can bring the tattoos on her body to life. She's a bit of a punk, she questions authority, but she's a good girl. In this story, she's become a sort of vigilante for her city, where she's stepping in and keeping things good. Like for instance, I just wrote about her going to a spot where college guys have been harassing women, and she has a whole showdown with them and gets them to clear off, threatening death by venomous spiderbite to their privates if they harass people again.
I'm so excited. I thought I was going to have to give up, but I really wanted to make it nine straight years. This has actually renewed my hope for that! Even with my busy, crazy schedule, I might be able to actually do it!
And I do owe it to the advice that you guys put in the main chat. Thank you!!
