This is so kind of you! I've donated to Nanowrimo through United Way, but never directly, so I've never gotten that halo!
My writing journey can be so crazy. I'll get random bursts of creativity, and other days it's just so hard to write. I find that music really helps stir my muse and it helps me write. I think my greatest hurdle this year for Nanowrimo is motivation. I started off the month with a funeral, so motivation has been difficult so far. But this will be year ten for me, so I plan to absolutely conquer this month!!
