How many words do you try to contribute a day? Do you set a goal or do you just write until you can't write anymore?
For me it's 2000 words a day, but I think on days where I don't have work the next morning, I'd write much more. I'm not sure yet haha, I have yet to reach that point. Every day so far in November I have expected to go in to work the next day. Whoops!

I'm aiming for 2k every weekday (except for Tuesdays when I am volunteering for 4+hours and I'll do 1667) and weekends where I aim for about 3k. I ended up with a challenge for a 25k weekend, so I should be ahead, even if I don't do 2k every day.
I want to finish 2000 a day, or 4000 on Wednesdays-Fridays, because I'm in a writing class those days and I'll be able to take the weekend off!
So far I've just been trying to do the base 1667, but if I can do 1800 a day, I'll be happy. 2k a day is even better. But I also take breaks to encourage Redbeard!
I keep to the daily goal now because I have so much other stuff to do, but if I reach it and still have time then I just get as much written as I can. Right now, for the weekends I'm trying to get ahead a few days so that I can focus on schoolwork over the week. But I am always making sure I get at LEAST the daily goal that the website has.
I like to do at the very most 2.5k, since I want to be able to crank out a steady amount of words per day, but also to make it so I dont write too much and make my brain too excited that I dont make it go: "...well now what"
My only goal is 2k a day. This is my first time doing this and I have no idea if I'll even be writing on some weekdays. I don't think I'm going to finish, but for me it's more about trying this for the first time.

Also this I have to limit my writing time to make sure I leave something for the next writing period. Or else I'll just blurt everything out and it won't be enough If I do small spurts of 2k words, I'll have time to think of where to go next since I did zero planning for this.
I'm going to attempt the 2k a day or near goal, but honestly i doubt i'm going to get anything done this year but it's a start. I'll give it a go I fully plan to do Nanowrimo at some point so it's a good time to start.
My goal is typically 2k a day, but honestly I try to write as much as possible. On my days off, I'll be shooting for 10k, though it really takes a toll on my wrists. The farther ahead I get early on, the better, for me.
I suppose like everyone else, I am shooting for 2k a day as well. I've kept up with it so far, and I am feeling really good this year.
I am constantly playing catch up, it is true. I am constantly five-thousand words behind being average, as I missed only the fewest days of being able to write and type out my story.
I am typing as many words as I can~

Well I'm quite a bit behind because I scrapped the original bit I'd written, did more research, and started again all while being sick. However, my goal right now is to push through to get on track and then commit to 2k a day after that.
I feel like I'm very behind, but I'm 12,278, so I know that's on par. Being sick for NaNo this year seems to be throwing off my groove. More social responsibilities this time, too.
I'm heavily behind at the moment. I had intended to try and beat my 10-day goal, but at the moment I am on my clunky netbook, with a keyboard that needs witch nails to type on. Still, if I get my main proper-sized laptop back on the 17th as estimated, I'll still have 13 days to do it. Plenty of time
Nothing wrong with falling a little behind and catching up later! Good luck on catching up spellplague!
I'm having trouble pushing myself through the 2k for the last few days. I'm halfway done, but since I really didn't plan anything before starting this I'm slowing down on progress =_=
Toss in some twist. Kill off a person, put someone in a coma and give them some wild dream sequence, of something of the sort!
I remember once, many years ago, my friend had gotten stuck in her NaNovel. She asked me "what do!" I told her to add ninjas. Jokingly. But she took it and ran with it and smashed through her writer's block.
So, when in doubt, just add ninjas!

The plot twists are coming! I just have to GET there first Heimdall; something like ninjas are in the future lol
