Who here has pets, and what kind? I ask because my sister's little black cat is currently draped over my lap with her tiny claws dug into my shirt, fast asleep. So cute and warm. X3
I also have a cat, but he's not the snuggling type. Gives good massages, though. ^^

I have a cat. He's huge, white, his name is Charles, and I am owned by him.
He is also evil.
He enjoys throwing up at midnight, staring at me UNBLINKING, and other acts of cuddliness.

Zako doesn't throw up. He just sits outside my door in complete silence, unmoving, until someone lets him in, then he goes to the opposite side of whatever I'm sitting on and sits there. He's a manly cat. "This is me gracing you with my presence and I do not need your affection, mortal, which is why I followed you up two flights of stairs and waited for you outside your room for ten minutes."
Typical cat. X3

I used to have a rat called Seven. She had an addiction to peas, as soon as she could smell food being cooked, no matter what it was, she would be awake, out and waiting for her daily dose
I used to have rats. They all died on me, though. Rats really don't live very long. Mice die even faster, though. The pet store here has ferrets, but my uncle says my cat is all I get. -3-
I do not have any pets right this moment, but I will tomorrow! We went to the SPCA over the weekend and applied for a kitten. He had an appointment for neutering today already scheduled, so they just kept him until that could be done and he gets some recovery time.
I also have ex-cats, sort of. When I moved out of my parents' place, I left my two kitties with them. Weeell, Eris/Gizmo (troublemaker tortoiseshell) is technically my father's cat, but Marmaduke (orange/white tabby) was actually mine. She's kinda old and grumpy, now, though, and I didn't really want to disturb her and move her into a small apartment from the freedom of the house.

Yeah, I can understand that. Zako's young, but I still fault awful moving him from Virginia to Mississippi. ;-;
^o^ An appropriate thread, since I just got a new cat. He's a six month old psychokitteh named Hermes. And then there's my princess, a 2 year old orange tabby oriental named Qwyn. I love them both, but they're so needy. -_- I somehow end up with the needy ones. That's okay though, I love them. They just now started to become buddies so I nicknamed them Bonnie and Clyde for all the damage the cause.
*crash comes from the living room and cats come running into my room*
.........Exhibit A ladies and gents. S'cuse me while I go clean up whatever they knocked over.

That's why I don't want to get another, although Seven did live nearly a year longer than she was supposed to. Must have given her a good home

Are you saying they mutated into other creatures? (sorry, couldn't resist)
I wish I could have a capybara. I'd call him Speak and spoil him!
But no rodents for me. I have a cat.
If I could have pet mice, I would call them George and Lenny.

I named my first rats Ben and Jerry. After that, they were all named after FullMetal Alchemist characters- Hughes, Roy, Riza, Alphonse, and two mice named Ed and Al.

Yes; they're now affection-starved beasties of indeterminate species.
(Also, they've rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible, too.)
....... That dog is attempting to eradicate my soul. I can feel it. ;-;
The Soul Eradicating Fuzz Elemental of Fluffy Doom!
She's probably pissed someone put bows in her hair. Sorry for accidental soul eradication.
No worries- my sister sold my soul to the devil for a candy bar when I was six, anyway.
