((Report to your respective gatherings after you get your blood taken!))
"No, no, Kassandra CANNOT take blood from anyone, do you remember what happened last time?" John huffed into his team band, talking to Andrei Magas, who was on the other line. "I will be taking blood, you stay with the guardians and High Guardian and get them prepared to filter blood." After this conversation, John looked up for the new students, who now filed into the gymnasium.
"Blood tests are now commencing. Line up in any order you please. We need to put you through genetic testing to let you know of any genetic abilities any of you possess. I will also be able to send your sync degree and sync level. It's just a slight prick. For those of you who are sensitive of blood, we will cover your eyes for you." He continued to explain.
"Give me your name and your school so I will be able to send it to your attending guardian when the results are back tomorrow." He readied his small needle.

Jenny had tried to place herself at the back of the line. She had always been nervous when ever she'd need to get a blood test or a vaccine or anything that would involve pain. She glanced around the Gymnasium, with most people inside she had never seen before.
The man called Caleb readied his arm as he rolled up his baggy charcoal grey sleeves, "Stupid blood tests..." he grumbled as the needle was inserted into his arm after the proper sterilization. He watched as the needle went in and the blood was drawn, he didn't even bat an eye. "Caleb Gikas. Student of Arts, I guess. You guys should really think up of a better name for these schools of study, mine sounds weak." he said with a growl and a huff, he felt out of place in civilization - he missed the Wilds.
The blood was filed away and notes were taken, Caleb let his sleeves drop back to his knuckles an poked his thumbs out of the holes in the sleeves years ago. He wore an XXL hoodie that was barely big enough to fit his upper torso but was looser around the mid-section and below, his pants were brown and torn in places, he would've also been barefoot aside from the gauze he wrapped around the soles of his feet and ankles but for such a special occasion he had worn some large second hand boots that looked big enough to stomp a campfire out with. He replaced the hood back over his short scruffy black hair and returned to the seat he had be sitting at earlier.
When seated his took out his carving knife and piece of crescent shaped wood that had been carved to vaguely resemble a stag's antler. He glared from person to person, "I hate civilization..." he grumbled in the back of his throat like a wild beast. "How did they even rope me into this?..." he wondered aloud before looking back down to the slowly forming wooden antler.
((Sorry if I went too far too quickly, I'd prefer for my character to be there for other character that are either waiting for the blood test or already done.))

Jenny gulped when she notcied the line getting shorter quickly. She wanted to go back outside and just not deal with the blood test but knew her parents would spazz at her if she didn't get to her school.
Had the young lad been true to his word he would not have signed up for this school, having already been to one similar, but Nelís wasn't easy to satisfy especially when it came to studies. If there was something he could improve with his talents he'd improve it. If he was doing something wrong he'd correct it. Thus, here he is at yet another application day or so it seemed.. An application day that required samples of blood which made the illusionist slightly uncomfortable. He was no expert though he was on his way there, but as of now, his talents had the best of him physically wise. Had it not radiated through his skin he wouldn't have the confinement of his hands under white mildly thick gloves.
Because his last name began with an 'O' he found himself somewhere in the middle of a line that was moving quickly. Good God, do they sanitize the needles? Nelís had his precautions. No germophobic of course, however he still wanted to be clean of disease though he was yet to catch the common cold. Something to ponder over as he waited in line, his luggage placid by his feet.

"Come along, young one! It doesn't hurt." A plump, short woman walked with Jenny, bringing her to the front. "It's just John. He looks scary, but he actually raised six children, like the Nurturer he is! It'll be quick, and then we'll send you off to your Gathering!" Taissa smiled and held the girl's arm out for John, who very quickly and precisely got the needle in, took blood, and gave her a band-aid.
"It wasn't bad, right? Off to Andrei you go, he's been looking forward to this for the whole year!" She smiled, and then returned to helping lost students.

Jenny yelped, clenching her fists and closing her eyes when she was pricked. She slowly relaxed when she realized that the process was done. She let out a sigh and went to sit down, sitting down next to Caleb and inspecting the small wound on her arm.
Caleb looked up at the girl in front of him freaking out, while panic did give him power he hated seeing in people he didn't know well enough to truly hate. "Hey!" he said probably a little to loud and would be seen as coming off to strongly, "You did fine, it's just a pinch and they're done." He looked the girl up and down, she wasn't human so far as he could tell and her ears curved up indicating a magical heritage. Plus her bright contrasting clothing hurt his eyes.
"Besides, he said while blocking the bright clothing from his eyes and squinting. "-It was mandatory. So there was no point in delaying the inevitable." he said with as much compassion as he could muster, he'd still come off as be callous by people who didn't know any better.

"You know, boy, I don't know why they even do blood anymore." Aidas Magas hummed as he walked right up to the boy. "Illusionists shouldn't wear gloves to hide powers." He snatched the gloves right off of Nelís's hands. "I can feel Illusionist sync degree from miles away, after growing up with a bunch of combatants. Did you know that the whole Magas line is doomed to be gifted with powers of mentality of some sort?" Aidas towered over the boy he had chosen to harass.
Aidas was a big shot around here. "Go on, get your blood done. You're an Illusionist, probably with high energy if you just walked in and I felt you from where I was, but I suppose John wouldn't be happy if I you didn't get your blood done. I'll see you at the Arts Gathering, that's where most of the Illusionists end up." Aidas escorted him to the front of the line before disappearing in a cloud of smoke.

Oop: Just so you know Ghost, Jenny isn't in her natural state atm, she looks like a human and thinks she is one, but from what I gather Caleb is a wofl of some sort so maybe he'd be able to sense it
Jenny didn't seem to pay much attention to what Caleb had said, still worriedly inspecting the area she was pricked. "IT doesn't hurt to put it off..."Jenny grumbled, hoping her wound would quit bleeding soon.

Erasai just placed herself in line wherever she could. She wasn't in a hurry, nor was she afraid to get her blood drawn. She understood it was the process and patiently did as she was told. When it was her turn, she sat quietly and held out her arm, letting them do what was needed before she stood and made her way over to a seat to wait again. It seemed there was a lot of waiting.
Evelynn gave another loud huff as she was told to form a line. When would they just be able to go to their class? She pushed her way to the front and sat down with a plop, holding out her arm impatiently. Her seafoam green locks swayed as she did, and soon she was finished.
Immediately, she made her way to sit again, irritated that she still had to wait. "God, can we just go already? Is this even necessary?"

Mirage followed silently behind her brother, as he fell in line. He was upset with her for the comment she had made previously and that upset her.
"Hey, Trey?" she muttered, but he shot her a look. Her eyes fell as he was next to get his blood drawn, and herself soon after.
She took a hold of his sleeve as he made his way toward a seat, and his eyes seemed to soften as he glanced at her.

Jenny glanced up from her wound, seeing more people finish getting their blood drawn and go sit down, seeing several join her and caleb in the arts section of the gym
((OCC: Caleb is skilled at seeing past disguises, physical or magical. But I'll remember that for next post.))
When the girl didn't seem to take too much stock in what he had just said, Caleb just turned away and grumbled. He hated it here and he was the oldest student there seeing as he was 24. He just whittled away furiously at his antler, he was determined to sit there and ignore the world until a staff member told him otherwise.
His body had started to radiate a faint dark aura of writhing shapes and nightmarish creatures, he did that when he got angered.

Jenny glanced over at Caleb watching him whittle away at a wooden antler, before turning her attention elsewhere. She sighed, being just as sick of waiting as some of the other students had been. She eventually decided to dig away into her luggage, pulling out a large sketch book and beginning to draw in it.
Caleb had no luggage to speak of, what he wore was what he had. Of course he had only known that for a majority of his life, his didn't care much for the constantly changing trends of the civilized world or any of the other materialistic things that could make life comfortable. He finished his antler and intricately carved his name onto the butt of the horn, beneath him was a small pile of wood shavings and the scent of cedar.
He smiled at his work but growled at the fact that he was still here with all these other students. "When do I get out of here?" he all but roared, his voice needlessly loud and echoing throughout the room.

"Ow..."Jenny grumbled covering her ears when Caleb suddenly shouted. "we get out once we're assigned to our classes I think"Jenny said.
Caleb glared down at the girl and almost let out a snarl, but he remembered who he was and where he was and how he was supposed to act. "Screw this!" Caleb said frustratedly as he got up, kicked his seat away and stormed out of the room to find the classes himself. He slammed the double doors open and stomped off as a trail of shadows fell away from him and quickly evanescenced back into nothingness again.
JEnny glared at Caleb as he left, but noticed several of the other students leaving, heading to what she assumed where their classes. She grabbed her things and followed one of the students who was in the School of Arts like she was, eventually coming out to the fire that Andrei and Aidas were at.
