"Do you need a drink first?"Jenny asked, noticing Nelis coughing.
He would've answered had it not been for what little food that had probably gotten misplaced somewhere in his throat. His eyes had moistened quite a bit as he urged to pacify his coughing though it wasn't doing any good for him, and he fervently nodded.
Jenny sat her food down o nher plate and went over grabbing a cup of water. She handed it to Nelis. "Might wanna slow down on the next bite"Jenny said.
"If you were to do both, you'd get preference in a lot of things. All three Magas boys did doubles. ...So did Haruki and Lux, but they don't... speak, much. Actually, Lux tripled, but dropped Arts right after he graduated." He shrugged. "Let one of the combatant instructors know if you're interested. We just need to know before classes start. I look forward to your answer, Evelynn." He disappeared with a flash of small light.
Evelynn watched him disappear, her mouth slightly open. Then her lips curled into a smirk and she glanced over to Nelis. Doubling would definitely get her noticed then. She would most definitely consider it in that fact. She raised her bottle, taking another sip.
Finally removing his hand from his mouth, he let out a strained and hoarse 'thank you' or at least he tried. Instead he could hardly hear his own voice so it was nothing more than something he mouthed. Either way, he took the drink, his shoulders shaking with this horrible cough , then he brought the cup to his lips and began to drink slowly before taking larger gulps. His throat was cleared immediately and with a now empty cup in his hands he sighed.

"I don't think I was going too fast. The food simply refused to be swallowed," he said matter-of-factly, but all in all, it was a mere joke and he laughed lightly.
Jenny chuckled. "Well try not to choke on your food again"She said. "Alright, nwo then off to meet people!" Jenny announced heading back over to where Marina was.
((You guys should check out the Boards. Combatants have to pick a sport! They also have the busiest schedule.))

Marina looked about ready to sleep. "We can talk more tomorrow, we're all off. It's a day to get to know your Instructors and what not, so I'll see you there. Besides, the rest of my group will be along tomorrow, as well. Even our High Guardian will be coming 'round." She explained, yawning. "You can continue partying. I think the only Royal Guardian still here is Gilbert, everybody else is either passed out or asleep." She walked away, rather tired.

Aidas seemed to be heading to bed, as well. "You should go to bed, the lot of you. You have to deal with us all day tomorrow." He flashed his eyes so they looked like a broken mirror, for a moment.

Those were no doubt eyes affected by sync energy. All of the Royal Guardians had it, plus others. They would shine when emotions ran through their bodies, particularly strong ones. That's how both the eyes and the wings came about, but the eyes would come first.
Holding the cup between two strong fingers Nelís brought food to his mouth bit by bit, having learned his lesson only seconds ago though he did wish he had more water. He followed Jenny, his eyes gazing past her to see who they were approaching. The boy was yet to meet all the other instructors besides the ones who called out the sync and degree of the students majoring in the Arts.

Strangely he began to question where Caleb was. He hadn't seen him at the after-gathering, but then again he remembered someone was ushering him to bed. Despite that he had struck some sort of fear into the boy, Nelís was curious as to what brought Caleb along.
"That was abrupt."Jenny said. "Oh well. Any diea wherew e're gonna be sleeping?"Jenny asked Nelis, taking a bite out of her food.
"If I remember correctly I think they said the Arts room," he watched as the gymnasium began to empty out as the majority began to retread to their beds. The boy wasn't too tired, but he knew that within an hour and especially after this meal he would be very lethargic. He supposed on the way he would finish up his plate.

Nelís shifted in direction towards the doors of the gymnasium, racing the time to get there by trying to chew and swallow down quickly. It wasn't likely that he would choke again. He was chewing efficiently this time.
Jenny piled a bit more food on her plate, before following after Nelis. She was somewhat happy that the party had began to disperse, she wasn't much of a large group person, often preferring to be left alone, or with a much smaller group of people.
Erasai was sitting quietly along the wall, looking up at the moon. The way the light reflected off her eyes, they almost seemed to be glowing. She saw a few people walking out, and figured they were just tired. But then more came out, and she glanced over her shoulder, and she realized that it was time to go. Yet, she didn't want to move... It was serene here. Very nice. She could think out there.

Maybe, to ease her nerves a bit, she could sneak out and play a bit of music.
