The Recreation Room was a place where Instructors rarely entered. This was a place for students to relax and talk to each other. As of now, it was being used to find people roommates. Amneris huffed. She hated this process. She was happy she was in the later stages of schooling, she no longer required a roommate. That didn't stop her from staying in Aidas's room for the majority of her time, though. A blush arose to her face. STOP THINKING ABOUT THAT, AMNERIS. ANDREI RAISED YOU TO BE A PROPER LADY.
She was here to paint at the moment. Amneris's true passion was dancing, even though she had been pushed to enter the combatant squad when she found out she was an intoxicator. She knew how to use these powers, if needed, but she often chose not to. She was smiling as she drew the place where she and most of the others here had grown up: State 11, Sector 17. The building was large, with brown bricks. It represented a typical Nuturing center. She hadn't been there ever since Taissa's group, who had been the youngest, had come to school with them. There were so many memories there... of her first kiss, a young Royal Guard squad still young and innocent... of Mason.
She cringed. Don't think about Mason. He's somewhere else, being taken care of.
Or at least, that's what she told herself.
The smile on her face faded, but she kept painting.

The halls were presumed empty and the Inkling was yet to find any other student on campus, however she in time came across a room. It was open, seemingly welcoming and Ink, with silent steps, peered around the corner to find a girl painting. The Inkling had no right to breathe though she had the ability to, but as far as anyone was concerned she could be as silent as a cemetery. Her flat bare feet didn't make a sound as she approached Amneris from behind and peeked over the girl's shoulder as she painted. Ink's black silken hair slipped over her shoulders, tickling Amneris's skin as she marveled the painting.
"Very pretty," her velvet voice finally announced.

The seafoam haired girl strolled into the Rec Room, looking around curiously. She was donning her school uniform, the skirt of teal and the shirt she had been given and changed to her liking. "Yes... this is much better," she said, making her way to a corner to sit. She had been looking for a place to relax, feeling a headache coming on from all the people around. And maybe... hopefully, she'd find a roommate so she could sleep in a decent bed.
Not long after Evelynn entered the room, the orange haired girl came in, holding an instrument case. It was more than obvious that it was a violin from the shape. She stopped when she saw others in the room, and looked to each of them. She, too, had been looking for a place to lose herself, after all the stresses of being a Combatant.
"Would any of you mind if I played a little bit of music on my violin?" she asked, almost sheepishly.
Evelynn glanced up at the girl. If it had been any other request, she would have said no. But she liked music. Especially classical. "If you must," she would say, waving her hand as if not sounding eager.
If the others approved, Erasai would set up to play.

She nodded. "Art is welcomed here. Music is a beautiful thing." She said, flipping the page and looking at the inkling and her odd feeling of sync energy. Amneris's eyes had started to develop a bit of gold around the iris, a good sign that her level was nearing a point where wings would be able to develop.
Erasai smiled and raised the beautifully polished, red-brown wood violin upon her shoulder, resting her chin upon it. Bringing the bow slowly up, and arcing it lightly onto the strings, she took a breath. Counting in her head the beat she needed, she began to play her favorite song, and arguably the greatest piece written for the violin itself.
Boredom came to Nelís easily, and he found himself sauntering heedlessly without aim. The halls; empty. The cafeteria; empty. Either everyone was cooped up in their rooms or they were just gone. Without anyone around the vicinity became eerie in some sort of way despite that it was particularly bright inside. Where was everyone? Only his lonely footsteps echoed in the hall. Well, almost. If he listened close enough he could hear the faintest sound of a violin. Undoubtedly the same one he'd heard a day or two prior.
Nevertheless, he followed it. Surely there was someone from where it came from.

Not long after Nelis heard the soft music coming from somewhere down the hall, he'd also hear the quick pitter patter of bare feet on the floor. And they were at a quick pace, and coming right for him. "Ort!" came a loud shout, and before he would know it, a light-weight body would be clinging to him, bright blue hair swirling over his shoulder as Novo clung to him.
"Where Ort go?" she inquired, quite cheerfully as she questioned him.

The boy stilled, trying to interpret the sound that was hurriedly approaching, but by the time he was going to turn around to make it out the person had flung themselves onto his back, nearly making him fall forward. Fortunately, they didn't weigh all too much, and the blue hair that swept past his face slowly brought a smile onto his lips.
"To the Rec Room," he answered lightly, hooking his arms under her knees if he didn't want to suffocate. Whether she realized it or not her grasp was tight. "What have you been up to?" Nelís asked with a sort of jestful sway in his voice as he started again towards the music.
