"Okay! I think everyone has gotten to know each other, can we go now?" Evelynn said, obviously annoyed. Her arms were crossed, and she didn't even make an attempt to introduce herself to Elsa.
"Well I think you're certainly welcome to leave..." Jenny grumbled under her breath. "So what do you think Novo is?"Jenny asked.
Glancing beyond Novo his eyes landed on the one whose voice was rather chipper. Only in his peripherals had he noticed Novo's sudden pout, however it was quick to disappear. His newly found attention was on, yet again, another new student. Seems as though the Art department was getting larger with every passing day. He'd expect more before long, however.. As he thought it through it was only him and Caleb who were the males of this group. So far the majority of artists were all females- now this didn't bother him. Merely something to point out.

"Hello," the word was stretched as it was always, coming from him, and in the most suave way with a smile printed onto his lips. Though it didn't disappear completely it faded to an extent as he felt a pressure against, or even in his head. No pain whatsoever, but it felt like a stagnant drone attempting to say something he couldn't make out. His eyes somehow ended up gazing subconsciously, looking at nothing in particular as what he was trying to examine was in his mind, but as quick as it came it had gone and his golden hues refocused on the girl who'd just spoken up.

With a rejuvenated grin he nodded, "No need to worry. That's pretty interesting actually. I've never had anyone in my mind before."

Nelis was quite interested in Novo's talent, listening in on how her talents favored her and with another glance towards Elsa he was quick to note that she had suddenly become self-conscious when just moments ago she hadn't been, but guess who else took on the trait? Novo who was looking at Elsa. This made what Andrei said more accurate. More than likely Novo was tapping into Elsa's sync and taking that characteristic as her own.

Disregarding Evelyn, with all due respect, NelĂs answered Jenny, "I think she's just as Magas said, but I'm not sure there's a name for it.. Maybe we can come with a name for it, yes?" The question was aimed towards the now shy Novo.
Jenny nodded, glancing at Novo and then at Elsa.
In reply to Elsa's question as to how she was doing, Novo gave a couple nods, wanting to suck on the candy rather than speak. Then her head tilted to the side as she looked over to Nelis who spoke. He didn't seem to be talking to her, but she had a feeling he was talking about her. She wondered what he meant.

"Ort talk about Novo?" She turned to face him fully. "Ort no even like Novo." She crossed her arms again.
"Well... Yeah, I've been able to do that for a while now..."

Suddenly, Nelis heard Elsa's voice, crystal clear, in his own mind.

"It comes in handy for extra-private conversations. And all you have to do is think up a response, and I'll hear it."

Then she spoke again.

"Isn't it neat?"

Chances were, everyone in the near vicinity would probably hear Elsa's consciousness buzzing a little. Usually that meant that she was either content, excited, or angry, depending on the tone of the buzz. This one was low, subtle, and calm.
Novo only gained a deep laugh from the boy, and yes he was laughing at her, but not to bring any shame to her of course. Ort was just the last thing he ever expected to be called- it hadn't even the imagination to come with a name like that. He would except the new name, but only from her.

"I wouldn't be so sure," his shoulders rose defensively, a grin plastered across his lips prior to Elsa's voice among his own thoughts.

"Nice talent you have, but I don't know if I'll have any extra-private things I'll be sharing. You usually converse with people this way?"

With him thinking up a response he had heard her speak outside his thoughts though he wasn't listening. To speak listen at the same time would prove to be challenging..
"No, not really. Only with people... like you, I guess. Some people just sort of brighten my day."
"So, you're stating that I've brightened your day just by my presence?" a visible grin spread on his lips as he tried to make sense of her with his own reasoning which led to nothing logical. "I've only just gotten here a moment ago," he added, passing her a questioning gaze. Of course she wasn't obligated to answer if she didn't wish to, but he was very curious.
"I understand it just as much as you do. Just like I read thoughts, I can sort of see an 'aura' of sorts around people, and some auras just make me happy."
"Uh, hi I'm Jenny. It's a pleasure to meet you."Jenny said, holding her hand out, after realizing she hadn't welcomed Elsa yet.
Elsa saw Jenny right away.

"Elsa MacKeely. How're you?"

Elsa accepted the hand, appearing to have control over her apparent severe bipolar syndrome. As she did, Jenny would probably hear the constant buzz get slightly louder. Only slightly.
"So is that Buzzing noise made by you or something?"Jenny asked slightly annoyed by the sound.
"Oh, yes. Sorry, I can try to tone it down..." Elsa closed her eyes tightly, and the buzzing subsided to a minor whisper. "Better?"
Yeah, thanks. Why does that even happen?"Jenny asked curiously.
"I have this weird mind-reading thingie. I sort of project my mind outwards and get thoughts back."
"That's interesting" Jenny said.
"Thank you. Bit of an odd talent for an artist though. I tried to be a warrior but I'm not really built for that."

It was true. Elsa wasn't a particularly well-built individual.

"Anyway, when are we supposed to get our blood tests back? I want to apply for an apprenticeship, but I don't know what my numbers are."
