((Pretty sure that this will be the way to initiate new members.))

Andrei, as sickly as he was, was always willing to take care of others rather than himself. Perhaps this would explain why he was holding a girl's hand, walking into the Academy. She kept changing on him, Andrei would just laugh. They'd found her, all alone. The combatants had found her while patrolling. Of course, Kassandra had gone over and kind of tried to figure out who she was.

It was here that they found out her name. As soon as it was said, murmurs were heard, especially a loud one from Dmitri. "That's a bastard name if I ever heard one." He was right. Illegitimate children were forced to have Latin names, like Lux. But Kassandra had scolded Dmitri and brought her right to the school, where she was given clothes. Even Darius, who had dove into her memories, couldn't seem to find a clear answer, which led Andrei and his brothers to believe she was an illusionist of sorts. They could block off their memories.

"Novo. Let's go get you settled." He helped the girl to the Arts room, where he allowed her to move around. "Come along, Artists." He called, knowing that the poor thing probably needed to be oriented a little more.
Every time Andrei would chuckle, the girl at his side would giggle, before changing her form slight, obviously finding it fun to amuse him. Bright pink hair to blood red to ocean blue. Her eyes seemed as rainbows, constantly changing every so often. Her size and shape would change too. She'd be a short, stout old woman with bright hair, to a young man, normal height with dark curly hair. Finally, she seemed to settle on a young teen, small framed with barely any curve, purple hair swishing behind her. Pink eyes blinked around as she finally began to take in her surroundings.

"Oh~" the girl said, slowly a bit to look around. Simple clothes, a white linen dress was all she wore now. It was all they could get on her. She seemed to like to feel free, not even wearing shoes.

At least they had cleaned her up. She was covered in dirt before, but now her sun-kissed skin looked pretty. "Novo hungry..." she said, tugging at Andrei's hand.
((She reminds me a bit of Shiro from Deadman Wonderland, innocent personality wise.))

Hungry. Oh God, but he just called the Arts students. Alright. Okay. Let's think, Andrei. "Meeting location changed, to the Cafeteria!" He called up again, hoping his students would follow. "C'mere." He picked the girl right up in his arms, quite worried that she would run away.

In order to amuse her, he made illusory flowers and handed them to her. They came with a smell and a feel and everything. "I wonder, child, if you're an illusionist or... some kind of sync copier." He wondered if she even understood that.
Novo squealed with joy when she was picked up, and wrapped her arms around his neck, looking behind him. There were so many people. Her eyes looked at them all with curiosity. Particularly the girl with pretty sea-foam hair. It seemed this distracted her from Andrei's question.

"Pretty!" Novo said, excited. soon her hair changed to match Evelynn's right down to the faded white tips.
This was stupid... The better not have to greet every new member this way. It takes time out of the day. Evelynn sighed as for some reason, they were now going to the cafeteria.

Following behind Andrei, she was looking at the girl, who was looking back at her. Her eyebrow twitched in awkward irritation, and soon the girl shouted out to her. Of course she was pretty, Evelynn took much time out of the day to make sure she was.

"Hey! What are you doing?!" Evelynn shouted, noticing the girl's new hair color. "That's my look! You can't have that!"
"Shhh, Evelynn. She's still learning about her powers. She's a bastard child, you see." He said, bouncing the girl up and down in his arms. "Please don't frighten her." He continued, sitting her down in the cafeteria and getting the girl some candy. Good one, Andrei. Make the girl even more hyper than she already was.

"Novo, you're very pretty, just the way you are. You don't have to copy others, okay?"
"Oh suck it up, it's just a hair style..."Jenny groaned in her mind, she was behind most of the others. So far from what she observed about this new girl, she seemed friendly if hyper active. Hopefully she'd calm down a bit eventually.
Once set down and handed something to eat, she looked at it for a long while. This wasn't like anything she had eaten before. But she did look up to Andrei with an answer to his statement. "Novo no know anymore. Novo change too much. Can't remember." But this fact didn't seem to bother her at all.

Instead, she slowly took a bite of the candy, moving it back and forth in her mouth. Her eyes went wide and she giggled. "Novo like!" She stood on her chair and looked around, before she spotted another curious figure.

Hopping down, she made her way over to Jenny, and circled around her once. After a moment, she abruptly stuck out her hand. "Novo," she said firmly, as if to introduce herself.
"Uh Jenny. Nice to meet you"Jenny said shaking Novo's hand.
The young illusionist had snuck in late, silently falling behind the group that followed Andrei who at the moment looked to be carrying a child? He couldn't quite observe from where he was, in the back of the group, having woken early; eaten breakfast excessively which resulted in him being last to- Wait, wait. No. Caleb wasn't present. Nelís remembered the man had been asleep, a large mound on the ground and the boy had just walked by him. Perhaps he should've attempted to wake him? Well, he would admit that that would've been a risk. Caleb wasn't the easiest to approach and Nelís wouldn't dare try and wake him either.

The boy kept step behind Evelyn, mutely watching Novo greet Jenny. A very sprightly spirit, a very youthful excitement. She'd definitely bring a lot of things to smile upon. Most likely would be the heart of the Art group.
"Jenny," Novo repeated, straining a bit as if she were locking the name into her memory. Then she gave a firm nod of her head, and looked back at Andrei. "More?" she said, asking for more candy. It was so yummy, she couldn't resist asking for it. But she stopped mid stride to him, noticing someone she hadn't seen before.

Hair slowly shifting back to the violet color, Novo quickly made her way over to Nelis, and inspected him. "Hmmmmm, yes." She gave a firm nod and looked up at him.

As with Jenny, she held out her hand to him, giving her name.
A young ginger-haired girl appeared, walking rather shyly towards the group of people.

"Umm... Andrei? I got sent to you from the register. My name's Elsa Mackeely."

It occurred to her that Elsa had latin roots... What did that make her? She pushed the thought aside and paid full attention to trying to make new friends.
Andrei was a sucker for children, of course he gave her more candy. He had made it his job to help raise her. He had been a Nurturer, he still remembered what it was like to raise a child, even if the individual she was dealing with was currently child-like.

He would have to give her real food at dinner, he supposed. Tomorrow was orientation. He was aware of another student coming along, Elsa, her name was. His group was currently the largest, but apparently the Combatants had just approved another application. They always ended up being the largest group, at least in his experience.

There she was, now. "I'm well. Sit down, this is our little group. Caleb isn't here, but I think everybody else is."
There were many questions streaming through the young man's mind directed to Novo, especially when the color of her hair shifted. Could she have Tamer's blood? Well, that wouldn't be too plausible. It was only the change of her hair. Illusions could no doubt do that, so then was it a form of an illusion? In due time, everyone would witness each other powers and there wouldn't be as much questions.

Nelís studied her as she was him. An idea hot his mind, still musing over her abilities. Maybe she could steal the characteristics of another? Or did she have limits to what she could change?

As she did he offered his hand, however, remembering he was without his gloves, he quickly pulled back before she could take it. Immediately he had a warm smile that took its place. "Hello, Novo. I'm Orlitt," he introduced himself, his auriferous eyes as welcoming as they could be.
Elsa immediately noticed Nelis.

"Hi there!" Every trace of her prior nervousness was absolutely gone. She was immediately shining brightly, very cheerful. Even she didn't know why, but Nelis just... sort of... Oh, I can't explain it. She just saw him and suddenly didn't feel shy or awkward at all. Hmm.

Some people just... affected her that way. Not even she understood why.

Anyway, as she spoke to Nelis, he was bound to feel a slight weight pressing against his mind. It sort of touched against his consciousness, buzzing slightly. Kind of like the static from a blown-out speaker. But anyway, it was in his mind, and he could almost hear Elsa's Scottish lilt inside of the static. Was that- Her mind? What? But, quick as it was there, it disappeared.

"Oops! Did I accidentally brush you? I'm sorry, I usually don't do that."
"How often are we going to get new people?"Jenny asked Andrei, surprised by Elsa's sudden arrival.
"It all depends. Maybe more, maybe less, perhaps none." Andrei hummed. His eyes glowed softly as he examined her. "I think she's a sync copier of sorts. She's able to tap into other's sync and figure out what they're thinking. We haven't had one in years."
"Oh, is that what it's called?" said Elsa, blushing again. "I didn't know that." Again, randomly, she resumed her shy posture, evaluating the condition of her little shoes.
Novo looked at Nelis as he refused to take her hand, and she began to pout. Then another girl came. What an exciting day! So many new people. She was sure she might explode from the excitement. "Novo talk to so many. Novo never have before. Novo like everyone."

She smiled and looked at Elsa. A part of her became a bit nervous, but she wasn't sure why. She popped another candy in her mouth and relished it.
"Hi there, Novo. How are you today?"

Again, Elsa brightened. It was almost kind of unsettling how fast her mood changed.
