He cursed, and looked at his hand. It was still sparking wildly, the lightening bouncing off each finger. Amneris would kill him if she found out he wasn't wearing his sync gloves. She was so angry when he bursted all the bulbs last time.
He put his rubber, grey-blue gloves on to stop the currents from flowing through his hands. He was an elementalist, and he should've been in the combat division, but with his lack of control, they kicked him out and sent him to the Artists.
So now he was stuck working with lights.
Lights. As in theatre lights.
Of course.
He touched one light, and the whole row went up.
And his glove burnt, causing his hand to burn a little.
He landed on the floor, narrowly escaping the impact by using his sync energy to cushion the fall.
Son of a bitch. He tossed his burnt glove away, and awkwardly shoved his hand into one glove.
He hated this.

From outside the sight of the globe was so grand, and Nelís's excitement couldn't be more evident. "It's just like the ones back then!" he marveled, his eyes dragging over the exquisite exterior. How could they afford this?? If he calculated correctly it must've been a million dollar project, yet it was here in the possession of a clandestine academy for individuals with peculiar abilities. It definitely supports the hierarchy of the royals who were probably the founders of academic environment.
Contrasting from original globes this one had multiple doors for people to go in, perhaps one around each corner. With his feet suddenly feeling light he whisked his way over to an opening, almost forgetting that he was being accompanied by Novo. The sight within utterly stole his breath: three rows/ floors of red seats, more velvet seats that cascaded along the ground, all facing towards the wide stage. Pillars stood on each side, holding up a section where props were kept and lights were maneuvered. This one also had a roof hovering above. It was dark inside, but not entirely. Even in the dark it was just as aspiring. Because he was so captivated by it all it had really caught him off guard when a row of lights suddenly lit, blinding him a moment.
A thunk echoed throughout Theatre and he blinked a few times before glancing at what is was. A small object flew from the stage not long after, Nelís soon finding that a person had fallen. "Are you alright?" he called, pacing between the rows of seats to get the the elevated stage.

Novo followed cheerfully behind Nelis. Normally, with anyone else, she would have been distracted along the way and gotten separated from Nelis after the first few halls. But she stuck to his heels like he might be the one trying to get away. All with a smile on her face.
What Nelis saw was how the theatre was suppose to be. A work of art, for art. A place that amplified the enjoyment of any piece being performed on the stage.
Novo saw it as a place of play. She let out a squeal and was just about the climb everything when she heard the thump. Then Nelis was asking if someone was okay.
Well, she was okay, so he had to be speaking to someone else. She quickly followed him, finding the person on the ground.
