With such an amazing fantasy setting the culinary quality of the land will have way variety than your average medieval plate. That's not to say there isn't a disparity between what the rich and the poor will eat, money is still the main factor here.
Food comes strictly from plants, birds, fish, and reptiles. There are no mammals in the Dragonlands canon aside furres, to eat anything with fur (the exception being ferians, furres cursed into animal form and hunted without fail) is heavily frowned upon in society. Cannibalism, called 'Sennibalism' in this word, is still something that exists however and is most commonly found in Drakoria.
The plant portion is the same as any real world options, and with access to a port down the road it adds an even larger variety to the area. Fruits, vegetables, spice, you name it! Fish is much the same, trout, salmon, bass, etc.
Birds choices are slightly limited but feel free to use your imagination! Here the term 'kiwi' is used as a general term for any bird small enough to be kept like as pet or eaten. Different kinds of kiwis have various uses. A chicken-kiwi is, you guessed it, for food! Parrots are generally not eaten though. Ostrix are birds big enough to ride! The common ostrix is used in a horse-like fashion. Raukors, the biggest type of bipedal bird, are the alpha predator on land. They typically hunt in packs like real world wolves and are a formidable opponent to hunt.
Reptiles are the final choice for food. This can range anywhere from real world creatures like snakes and lizards but mainly come in the form of drakes. Drakes serve a multitude of purposes in the Dragonlands continuity. Anywhere from guard dog like duties to a delicious dinner! As with birds not all types of drakes are eaten, and rarely would anyone eat a dragon. Those are exclusively mounts however that doesn't mean someone hasn't tried it! Wyrmmes in Drakoria have been known to do so.
As for milk, which is usually the question I get in regards to Dragonlands cuisine, it comes from either plants or apparently birds. This is straight from the horse's mouth! Talzhemir's that is.
"Where Does Furcadian Cheese Come From?
If furres live in the equivalent of Asia, in the Olde World, they do have soy products; they have 'tofu' and 'tempeh' and other fermented delights, including soy sauce. However, they don't have the soy cheese we have today; that's way too modern.
What European furres call 'cheese' is made from the crop milk of a certain kind of ostrix hen. They put a curved narrow funnel into the creature's beak and gently smooth its throat, which relaxes the bird. The stuff that comes out is delicious, clean, and wholesome. It will separate into protein-rich whey and fatty butter curds. Furres also make butter out of it.
Rather than fermenting it to cheese using enzymes from strips of mammal stomach, Dragonlands cheese is coagulated using the collected juice of thistle stems. After that, cheesemaking proceeds much the way real-world cheesemaking goes. The ultimate product melts on a pizza.
It's a grand thing Kasuria has tomatoes." Source

The owner of the Smiling Moon and his family try to cater to both carnivores and herbivores. They have been known to accept labor in the form of payment if some furre finds themselves low on coin. Smoking is frowned upon within the establishment as it spoils the appetite but if a furre is well behaved they won't be bothered when the light up.
