So... the dream has gotten pretty big in the past month! Now that we have a great player base and plot to roll with I thought now might be a good time to start an introductions thread. Some of us have known each other a very long time, others are new faces for me even!

I just wanted to take this time to introduce myself but also to welcome everyone to Valewood! It really, truly means a great deal to see so many people here. I am so thankful. If anyone needs anything please, I mean it, don't hesitate to ask! Whisper/PM me or any of the staffers.

Intro wise it's pretty standard stuff for me. Not everyone knows (because I play Rex, Mr. Masculine), but I am actually a girl in real life! Soooo crazy, I know. I'm 23, I love Marvel comics and video games, and I am ridiculously friendly. I try to be super chatty but if I don't answer right away it aaaalso happens to be that I'm not the best multitasker so I apologize to everyone ahead of time.

I'm going to try and fix that. Work has been hectic with ten hour days and I've been studying for my PTCB exams.

I've been around for the obligatory way too long, I will talk to anyone about anything, I'm prone to makeup rants and have a penchant for dying my hair odd colors that often make little kids stare in wonder. I'm 23, female, work part of my time as a beauty adviser and the other half as a pharmacy tech.

Hopefully this will force me to actually be around.

My current kitty's name is Bentley. I didn't name her. Bentley does not sound like a very girly name but the previous owners had a thing for cars. She is mostly black, very flabby, and more like a dog than anything else. I should post a picture of her. There should be a Post Your Pets thread or something. Anyway, I just woke up and my brain is pretty scattered, there you go.

You all pretty much know me, but anyway!
I'm from the UK which has to be one of the worst time zones as far as RP on furc is concerned and I'm 27. I've done the furc-thing for about 13-14yrs now. I work in childcare and was specifically in the preschool room (ages 3-5yrs) up until early/mid april when I began my maternity leave and ejected a small person of my own nearly 3 weeks ago now. I'm on maternity until at least the middle of february 2016 now but hoping to have a year off and not go back to work til may 2016! I'm also a Forest School Leader which just means I'm qualified to run Forest School sessions which put simply is just taking learning outdoors - from counting to learning letters to more specific stuff like using drills and learning the names of trees.

I have no pets - my cat died back in august. Which would have put me at something like 2-3 weeks pregnant at the time. I'm pretty sure she knew and was just like "I'm too old to cope with a baby, I'm outta here!" She's buried in the garden and was 17yrs old.

Soon! I hope. I'm working 5 days a week at the moment xD super nice overtime because our pharmacy bought out a grocery stores across the street that was closing. So our customer count has doubled at least. It's been great. And hectic. Because naturally it had to happen right in the middle of inventory and us getting a new pharmacy manager. High five for awful timing. But I WILL BE ON.

I also second the pet thread cause I have a 25 pound behemoth of love in orange fur I can spam with.

17 years old?! Holy crap. That is an old cat. But yes, I think a pet thread is a must now. Dude, I wish I had Forest School when I was a kid. I would have been all over that! I think we just took a bunch of field trips to naturey places instead. That is fantastic!

And jesus Lynn, that explains all the over time for sure. I'm in a similar boat when it comes to working more, I've just gotten used to my new schedule hence being online to RP more.

I was able to sit with our new pharmacy manager today and hopefully get myself a set schedule between the pharmacy and the beauty dept that I can start to build a rp schedule around it. So it looks like most evenings I should be around starting next week!

Sup, I'm Desi and like what seems like 90% of the player base, have been around for way too long, but like, longer maybe, or maybe I just feel that way. I indulge in a lot of 'back in my day's, am often confused about where I am, and sometimes have the irresistible urge to shake a cane I don't actually own at the younger RPers. I make a lot of dudes, so you'll probably see me playing dudes, but am actually a dudette, so there's that.
