Coins: Coinage consists of coppers, silvers and gold suns
10 coppers = 1 silver
10 silvers = 1 gold
NOTE: Anything above 100g is often represented by a paper note stamped by the county's official bank/court house
For conversion please consider that: (This is not an example of real word value)
1 Copper = $10
1 silver = $100
1 gold = $1,000

Please keep in mind that most furres will rarely see gold! Suns are typically used by nobles and merchants and each gold coin is stamped with a Haala Sun, the ruling house's sigil, and a likeness of the King (older coins will have previous Kings printed on them). Silvers are stamped with a depiction of Kasuria, with the shape of the county that made the coin embossed on it, and the other side has a Vinca. Coppers are stamped with a bust of the Dragon, to make the lowest coin still important, as well as the sigil of the house that forged it.

The wage of your character will depend on their station in life, how well they do in their profession, and how much of a demand there are for their goods. A peasant will have, for example, received very little education and thus most are not craftsfurres of any kind. The typical peasant will assist merchants and craftsfurres but very rarely excel in a craft of their own. Merchants are furres who have been able to turn their craft into a business! Some are merely laborers but blacksmiths for instance do very well for themselves so long as their skill is decent and the demand is fair. Nobles may or may not have skill of their own that equates into a 'real world' job. While many nobles are educated there aren't many that choose to work if they are Greater while the Lesser nobles tend to be the best of the best when it comes to merchants! Each Lesser house is famous for a particular skill.

"Of course, a price list is a misleading guide to a medieval economy, because so many goods were either produced within a household, or supplied by a lord. Retainers could get money, but they would also get food, lodging, weapons (sometimes), and cloth. Knights Templar were provided with clothes, horses, and armor."

Below is a list of items and their approximate price, base prices are minimum for lower quality items - higher quality and extravagant design add to the pricetag!

*Books are 'rented' from Town Halls and Libraries to be read and returned, or copied by paw onto blank parchments. Depending on length, it could take a year or more for a single furre to copy one book.

** This is a rough estimate primarily for need-based shops (bakery, general store, etc.) since most of their RP is assumed. Specialty (toys, cosmetics, etc.) shops, however, are wholly dependent on the whims of the townsfurres. If popular, they may exceed this daily range with sales. If not, they may go broke in a month!

*** Monastery-dwellers are paid out of charitable donations only, and they receive free room and board, therefore their coin is considerably less than other common wages. Priests and monks live simple lives, unlike their sometimes opulent RL historical counterparts, as most Monastery do not collect tithes!
