Rumors have circled that a wyrmme (or two) had been seen in the settlement. He appeared to be tall, wounded, but otherwise polite and quick to duck out of conversations. The camp alongside Dahlsea's temple was said to be its residence.
Missives have gone out to the Counties of Aldric, Symbidia (Houses Carthamine, and Broderick), Counties: Kosh and Mt. A'kerry (Givarri) and Counties Hurpha and Glasny (Mundi).
The esteemed K'Eugene ti'Broderick Am'Maristela En'Dragonclaw Sa'Carthamine, seeks for himself a second wife. The femme must be a landed inheritor, of a vulpine lineage, and be within the marrying age of a young maiden. K'Euegene's first wife has not yet bore kits, so the opportunity to pass on inheritance is still open.

A drunken individual is seen and heard in the late hours in the business district, yelling obscenities and throwing stones through the windows of the Tally House, once the windows are broken he runs off into the night.
A frantic panicking rusty coloured fox is seen running through the streets of Pyrite at night on the 6th. He is screaming out someone's name.
"Marie! Marie! Stop Hunting!"
"Marie! Marie! Stop Hunting!"
Last night, a shout, complete with Drakorian accent, could be heard by those closest to the business district: "I HAVE IT FROM LORD THEODORIC'S MOUTH THAT HE WILL GLADLY SELL ALL HERBIVORES HERE EMPLOYED AT THE TALLY HOUSE TO BE FOOD!"
By morning the next day, the words that were shouted -- and some rumours that a violent fight had ensued shortly afterwards -- were making the rounds. No one, of course, seemed to agree on quite who was involved with the fight or how much of a fight it was or what had happened, but Lord Theodoric Giovarri was common to at least most of the stories.

Last night a ship came into port with extravagance and flair, flying the blue and yellow colours of Greater House Carthamine. Having left port in the early morning it is said that two passengers disembarked with their single servant. The ladies were foxes, and were met by Lord and Lady Broderick before being whisked away to their manor nestled in the woods.
The poor servant was buried in luggage but seemed to have carried it all on his own, why these ladies have come is quickly becoming the gossip of the town.

Rumors begin to circulate among the furres of the community of the murders of Herbivores, not as slaughter for food but as sport. The local Blacksmith claims that on the night of Wednesday he heard a scream on the docks and came upon the murdered body of a local prostitute. He was seen carrying this body to the woods, and later seen with guards carrying it back to the constabulary the lot of them covered in dirt.
No one knows the truth of the matter but they know this, the dock boards around the small stall that sells goods that come in by sea have been stained a permanent crimson, and those herbivores who were already on edge now fear even more for their lives. The reassurance that the constabulary is investigating the death as a homicide has done little to assuage them of it.

Pirate Attack!
On the night of June the 24th while the community gathered (Although mostly just the nobility of Pyrite) a few skiffs carrying about two dozen furres came ashore in the manor district. The crack of a pawgunne was what sent the guards into a frenzy, House Haala men all of them suddenly assailed en-mass by savage seafaring brigands.
The attackers were coordinated, catching the small constabulary off guard, and those that were on guard were harried by fires started in the main town proper. Easily doused and with damage kept to a minimum, most of the common folk never heard a thing. It was in the manor district that the flag and cobblestones ran red, the Pirates all former rebels or displaced herbivores not averse to killing those in Haala colors did just that and did so with sadistic glee.
While three guards were found dead or too mortally stricken to be helped, an additional five House Guards were injured enough to be put out of action at least temporarily. The coordinated attack went straight to the Haala manor and adjoining buildings, barging into quarters, turning over furniture, tearing up mattresses. No small amount of wealth was safe. Heirlooms, jewelry, Silverware, musical instruments and more were taken.
Sacks of food and grains from the larders were dumped out and used to carry away the ill gotten gains. As quickly as they came in from the sea like sharks to blood, they were gone again into the night, the whole business lasting under a half of an hour. However it is said that the pirates left a message, despite having only killed or maimed house guards, there are reports of a single carnivore being injured among the dinner guest, a jaguar in commoners garb was reportedly shot by a dirty white furred canine.
The constabulary and remaining house guards are set on edge, the town now under a state of high alert. It is expected in the coming days that an investigator will be sent from Zaydore to aid in the investigation and apprehension of those responsible.
RUMOR HAS IT...
That a lanky white cat has constantly wandering out the settlement with a sunny disposition and a scatterbrained demeanor. He left a cloud of 'nip smoke in his wake wherever he went and appears to be in need of a bath (or six). No matter, he seemed friendly!
