"I followed that peasant-mouse to the meadow to confront him for an owed apology. He readily gave it thankfully enough but when I reminded him to mind his betters on my retreat back to my home he picked up the nearest rock and threw it at me. It hit me square in the chest and will likely leave a bruise but I demand he be thrown into the stocks for this transgression. Lady Othelia is aware of the mouse in question, he goes by Mister Conroy and is employed by Lady Desdicara."

The offending dormouse was locked within the stocks that very night, to be released in the morning after Othelia's return to the constabulary and the opportunity for one of Giovarri's staff to inform him that the punishment had been meted out promptly and as requested.
Unable to make it as far as the constable's station, Raefaelin sent a note.
