Location: Eileadora Docks
Participants: Erinna Silvermane, Sofey Eristis, Nocturnal Aymen, Nykita Aymen
Synopsis: Nykita and Erinna converse on the deck of the Harbinger about the upcoming trip, though the conversation is made short by the appearance of Nocturnal who walks across the docks with a crate of supplies, prompting the pair to move to help the hybrid where they witness an encounter between a beggar boy, his puppy and a noble girl interested in playing with the puppy but then proceeds to take the puppy for herself while her bodyguard kept the distressed boy at bay. Though Erinna attempted to use guile and diplomacy to get the puppy back to the boy, Nykita stepped in to stop the guard and call into question why Erinna bothered to play along with the notion that the noble girl is superior somehow, stopping the bodyguard from attacking Erinna and giving her the chance to throw the bodyguard overboard. While Nykita flicked the girl on the nose hard enough to bloody it, Erinna spanked the girl in public, returned the puppy to the boy and finished bringing the crate on board.

The Logs
Nykita Aymen lounged against the railing on the deck of the Harbinger, glancing down at the Eileadoran docks below him with a pensive expression, eyes glancing between various individuals walking by the ship. The docks were as busy as any other regular day - merchants coming and going, workers trying to both work and avoid working, some less fortunate being around too looking for any kind souls willing to spare a copper or two, one younger one playing around with what seemed to be a small puppy mutt even, probably hoping to have people take pity on the pup with a bit of extra coin.
Erinna Silvermane was still a bit antsy and had stepped of the ship to stretch her legs a bit after her brief chat with Raykit, earlier in the day. After about an hour or so the alicorn figured it was time to head back to the ship, walking along the docks to make her way back to the vessel. When she encounter the little vagabonds she would smile and nod to them as well as bestow the child with two copper quite descretely by speaking to the boy with mirth and ruffling his hair. When the boy reached up to grasp at the offending hand the alicorn would have slipped the coins before looking up to notice the captain. The femme would then board the ship and make her way up to where Nykita was. "Good afternoon, Captain. I hope things have been well.:"
Nykita Aymen's pensive expression was briefly broken by that moment of benevolence from the alicorn, leaving the little vagabond boy with a confused look when he found the two coins suddenly appearing in his possession, "If only more people were kind... then we would never leave." The squirrel answered Erinna with a light shrug and another smile, "I heard news that the Queen is having a house constructed for Dakota and myself... leaving before it is finished would seem like an insult to such a kind gesture." It was the kindness of others keeping them there now! His eyes would be drawn back to the little beggar boy and his pup as he got some company, a well-dressed girl kneeling down to start playing with the pup along side him.
Erinna Silvermane tilted her head a moment as Nykita spoke of kindness and how it was keeping them in Etla a little longer. The femme would then approach the railing with a smile as she looked to the boy down below, who now had company before looking to the captain. "That sounds like excellent news! I have no problem staying a little longer here. It is a good enough city as any could expect with colorful creatures of every stripe." The alicorn might have missed a deeper meaning and concern for the ship staying longer, her being someone who had spent pretty much her whole life on land. "It would be rude to not wait until it was at least finished and spend some time there. Royals very much like to see appreciation for any kind of 'favor' they see fit to bestow upon someone. It is never simply a gift, but almost a debt that must be paid."
Nocturnal Aymen's form could most likely be spotted fairly far off along the streets of Etla. A rather large crate within the holds of her paws. Tails swishing and swaying behind her while the woman moved with soft, but earnest steps, headed straight for the Harbinger. She'd stop, and place the crate down, only to sit on it. Taking a moment to catch her breath. It wasn't exactly light after all. She'd done some work for the local herbalist, was paid in coin, and other things she needed to start peddling her own, at the next port. Heavy things, vials, bottles, a bountyful of herbs and spices, a new mortar and pestel .. the list went on. After a few minutes or so, she'd be seen standing, collecting her crate and advancing further down the street. Off her hips danced the delicate silks of a dancer, flowing around each step, while her chest was help captive by a matching top, the colors bright, and showy. Maybe.. she'd recently been dancing for someone cause she surely looked the role of it.. a thin veil covered her muzzle even! Nothing like the exotic delights of belly dancing.
Nykita Aymen seemed surprised as he glanced at the alicorn for a moment as she finished explaining her view on the supposed gift they got from the Queen before releasing a vibrant and amused laugh at the notion that Queen Elora was bestowing him with a debt, "You certainly have a point there, Erinna." The squirrel ended up agreeing with her though, straightening himself up from the railing and scanned the crowd again, "But I doubt Queen Elora is the type to try and bestow a debt upon my shoulders and expect me to pay it without some sort of agreement first." His ears perked when he saw Dakota walking along in a outfit that he'd think was usually for Sera to wear during that particular day of the week, no doubt catching some attention from those passing her by; whistles, cat calls and even claps from the more thankful people. His tail swished behind him with a smirk, turning to the gangplank and glancing to Erinna again, "Pirates do no care about the debts of others." And then he'd start walking to get to Dakota and help her out with that crate!
Erinna Silvermane would have looked to the dock as she heard what sounded like cat calls that haraled the arrival of Dakota in quite the ensamble. Erinna would watch as the woman carried quite the impressive, but likely heavy crate. When the hybrid rest with the box for a moment she would look to the captain as he responded to her. "I would hope she is better than that and has an idea who you are and what you stand for." Erinna responded, standing as Nykita began to head to the gang plank with Erinna walking lock step with him. "You might just need to stay sharp and ensure she doesn't try to use it as leverage in a future deal with her. You may need to tread lightly to avoid her feigned ritous indignation to further twist your arm." Erinna stated frankly. However, once the pair had reached the gang plank the alicorn would stop speaking on such things. It was ship business and ship business that was less than a glowing representation of the local leadership would then disembark and assist both Dakota and Nykita in moving the box.
Nocturnal Aymen wasn't aware of her husband, and the alicorn coming towards her. She was simply aware of the crate within her arms, and the distance she had to travel yet. She'd already come a long way, and dressed as she was, it did simply garner more cat calls, whistles, and the likes, then anything else. Though, she wasn't phased by it. Spending so many years of her life as an exotic dancer had that effect on one. Where silly men antics, were pushed out of her mind, and so easily ignored. Unless of course, one touched her. There's no doubt hell would break loose. The closer she got to the ship, the closer the other two came to her, they'd be able to hear the soft jingle jangle of trinkets, bells.. coins.. along her frame. Aroud her ankles, her waist, gracing her chest even. Nevermind her normal assortment of chains. Thoughts, far away, soft steps continued.
Nykita Aymen did not laugh this time but he chuckled at the alicorn's words, paying no heed towards the opinions others would have of him if they heard him talking about the current ruler of the city, "If Queen Elora wishes something from me, she merely needs to ask..." Getting closer to his wife, he'd hold up a finger to Erinna in a signal for silence, as he wished to surprise his love with a kiss on the cheek and his arms slipping under the crate to steal the weight from her arms, "Afternoon, love." The sqiurrel smiled as he'd aim to take the crate and leave her free to step as lightly as she wished and unintentionally tease everyone she walked by, "...it is because I like this city and her rule here that I choose to support her." Truth be told, he did not know Queen Elora that well on a personal level but considering the recent anti-slavery laws that were passed earlier... he liked what she was doing with the place!
Erinna Silvermane's experience with the queen was likely even more limited than the captains. "I trust you, captain. You know her better than I. I'm just weary from past encounters with royalty. If she has your endorsement then she has mine." The femme said with a solid nod. When Nykita indicated silence she would immediately go quiet before she observed what the male was going to do. The alicorn would smile and watch as he gave her a kiss and whisked away the heavy craye, apparently not needing her assistance. After Nykita relieved his wife of the box the alicorn would step forward, smiling brightly to the femme. "Good afternoon, Miss Dakota. I hope you have been well."
Nocturnal Aymen was indeed, surprirsed! She'd give a startled sound which only melted into a smile.. watching him whisk the box away. "You." she'd state, lifting a finger as if to wiggle it at him.. offering a frown.. playing, of course! Before Nykita could get too far out of her reach, she'd press a kiss to his cheek in turn. "Thank you love." right through that veil! Tipping her head to Ernie, the hybrid offered a smile. " I have been pleasent, and yourself?" she'd que softly, her paws mocing to rest behind her back, right paw holding her left wrist. Her pace quickened, just enough to keep up with Nyk.. as she'd much rather prefer to lose the attention, then gain even more.
Nykita Aymen felt pretty good about himself when Dakota kissed him through the vein, as show by that proud smile like he had just done something heroic, "But I do agree with how you view royalty, Erinna..." He'd start, turning to regard the alicorn walking beside them when a call from behind them had him turning the other way. The sound of the yell caught the attention of almost everyone that was close but it was barely for a few seconds as most were not very surprised to see a beggar yelling at a well-off citizen, the young vagabond who earned a few coins from the alicorn was the one yelling and struggling against an armed woman keeping him away from the girl that had been playing with him and the puppy earlier, which was now being held against her chest and making little whimpers, approaching closer one may be able to hear the exchange, "Let me go! Give 'em back, you bitch!" The boy yelled past ther bodyguard keeping him at bay, easily shoving him back a few steps for every step he'd make past her bodyguard keeping him at bay, easily shoving him back a few steps for every step he'd make past her, "You can't take care of him! He'll be happier and better off with me!" The girl huffed, raising her chin at the boy before starting to turn away, much to the distress of the beggar boy, who'd rush the bodyguard again, "No! Don't take Gimlet! Giv-nnghh...!" Further cries of distress were silenced by a nice hard hit to the top of his head from the butt of a sword of the woman tasked with guarding the girl, snorting slight and shaking her head in contempt.
Erinna Silvermane continued to smile as she exchanged pleasantries with the hybrid femme. "I am glad to hear it! I am quite well myself. You got quite the haul here, items for the infirmary?" The femme asked curiously as they approached the ship. Erinna's attention then turned to Nykita as she flanked him on the opposite side of Dakota. "I appreciate it. I, unfortunately, have had some bad encounters. I don't want to see you and your crew having to take on anymore burdens than you already do." Then the scuffle broke out behind them which had Erinna turning fully about to observe the brat of a child. The alicorn was aghast with what she saw, but would quickly put her diplomacy face on as she approached. "Excuse me, little girl." The alicorn's voice polite, yet stern The femme was hoping her well groomed appearance and rich-looking clothes would be enough to get the attention of the body guards and the girl. "Why are you harassing my god-son and trying to take his puppy?" The femme shot a look to the young boy, surprisingly quick and smooth, to indicate he should play along. "I would like you to hand back his puppy before you hurt him. I can assure you, he can take care of him."
Nocturnal Aymen her ears gave a flicker to the talk on royalty, which cuased the woman to arch a brow, though she didn't know quite what it was about. A glance between the two given, only to be followd with a shake of her head. She wouldn't put her two cents into a conversation she wasn't apart of. "Nyk, I have something..." she paused, canting her head to the side as she thought about her words. "Rather important to talk to yo-" as the trouble started, she, like Ernie, stopped, and turned.. watching. Though the hybrid didn't step forward when Ernie had, instead, she stayed back and watched. It wasn't unusaul for Noct to get into a scuffle, protecting a child.. that was proven well in Furrabia.. which only left quite a bounty on the ship, and her crew.
Nykita Aymen was already taking a step to turn himself fully towards the scene when Erinna already acted to insert herself into the situation, which had him pause out of curiousity to see how she was going to handle the situation, observing her intently - the girl paused for a brief moment, turning with the puppy still hugged to her chest, calming it's whimpering with a few strokes to the head, looking curiously at the tall femme who claimed to be related to the beggar, "That boy is a beggar and maybe that means you should take care of him better next time, so he doesn't make puppies suffer by being homeless with him." She'd observe, while the boy himself had a bit of trouble playing along with both hands on his head, trying not to cry and failing to do so as his only companion was being taken from him. Though seeing that the boy wasn't trying to rush past her again, the puma bodyguard stepped forward towards Erinna, aiming to square off against her as the girl once more turned to walk away.
Sofey Eristis's body was actually up n the ship's main deck, itself. This Pirate Captain was walking around, acting in charge in her head, as Nykita wasn't on the ship, at the moment. She knew he was close, so she wasn't doing much. Sofey could hear words down below, and so this got her attention. This attention put her on the edge of the ship, both gloved hands grasping onto the railing, and then those two-colored eyes staring down below. Sofey was silent, staring, observing. Was it a fight?
Erinna Silvermane so wanted to scowl and fling fire balls at the little brat when she nearly called her bluff, but showed no sign of her irritation. "He just wanted some change to buy candy with while I was conducting business with the master of the ship." The alicorn explained calmly. "I will keep a better eye on him to avoid such from happening again." When the bodyguard squared off to her she wouldn't budge, but found this to be quite the oppertunity as she leaned in a bit while the guard's back was turned to the girl. "Can I help you sir?" Erinna asked casually as the tip of her horn glowed faintly for a brief second, which would have been hard for the guard to see at such proximity. The result was the alicorn attempting to trip the thieving little girl so she would land on her side and drop the dog, while not falling on it.
Nocturnal Aymen's body turned, completely, arms crossing about her chest as she took in the scene. Not aware to Sofey oh so near to them. Tails flickered lightly, to and fro behind her befpre curlig up near her side in a rather large pile of fluff. The soft glow of the alicorns horn was caught, by the hybrid though she surely wouldn't direct attention to it. Instead.. she watched the scene unfold.. ready to jump in should she be needed.
Nykita Aymen slowly lowered the crate down to the ground as the scene continued to unfold a short distance away, with the puma guard keeping the alicorn away from her charge, glaring at the other woman as if unaware of the glow that came from the horn, followed by the suddenly help of surprise as the girl stumbled and landed onto her side in alarm, "Aiiiee!" Too bad she was clutching the dog in a panic or else she may have dropped him but the attention would shift back to the alicorn and puma, the bodyguard glancing back at the girl and then to Erinna, "How -dare- you?!" She'd snarl, fangs bared and heckles rising, starting to pull the sword from her scabbard - it was not uncommon for there to be magic savvy bodyguards around after all! Unfortunately for her, she would not even get past half-way to unsheathing her sword when Nykita grasped the wrist to stop her, "I do not know why you would even trouble yourself with tolerating such a pathetic display of superiority..." The squirrel was not even looking at the surprised puma but instead was looking at the alicorn, speaking directly to her with a small and amused smile.
Sofey Eristis's foot came up to stand on the railing. Just one... she'd lean in and stare over the edge, listening in on the yelling and the conversation, most unaware to her presence. Sofey was silent, still. Just watching as her arms crossed over her center, and one elbow leaned on her big thigh.
Erinna Silvermane smirked a bit to the puma as her little prank was noticed. "How dare I?!" The femme said raising her voice and taking a step forward, emphasizing her move by clomping her hoof on the deck loudly. "How dare you, and your beastly child of a charge, stealing animals from kids!" Erinna saw the guard going for her weapons which triggered the alicorn to gather more power to her horn which began to glow the whole length as the femme began to look quite furious. Her life had been threatened and luckily Nykita had stepped in for both the guard and her own sake, but Erinna was not done. The alicorn would reach under the puma's armpits while she was distracted by the captain and use her equine strength to toss the guard off the pier and into the water with a yell.
Nocturnal Aymen moved up to stand on her tipped toes, looking around the alicorn at the child that hit the ground with the pup still in her clutches. She pondered a moment.. there was always plant life in the water, for the most part, and they were on the docks.. were they not? She'd smirk and closed her eyes, seeking for the plant life that surely had to be near.. If it wasn't near, or if there wasn't enough near.. well.. she'd reach out to the plant that infested their ship. A soft green glow flickereing along her paw tips, which were clutched to the sids of her chest near her breasts, cross fashion about her chest as he focused, and pulled.. slowly vines lifted from the ship, and snaked their way through the water, coming straight to the hybrids beckoned call, but out of view of others.. unless of course, they could detect nature itself, doing something weird.
Nykita Aymen did not even turn to regard the puam bodyguard, who was a first surprised by the sudden intrusion by the man dressed in fine military garb and was about to turn her anger to him when the equine woman in front of her clopped a hoof against the ground, "You-" She'd manage to start before Erinna acted - the child had turned back to see what was happening to the person that was supposed to guard her, a frightened high-pitched yell suddenly erupting from her to go along with the shocked and alarmed feline snarl of a flying puma going through the air before splashing into the water. Nykita had a much more content smile as he watched Erinna stop playing their game, his tail swishing from side to side as he let off a soft laugh - this is what he wanted to see! Not some appeasement of their conceited status of being better than those around them, "What have you done?!" The girl screamed out, eyes wide with a frightened expression, earning her the attention of the squirrel, who began to walk towards her with a crowd now watching after parting to give those involved some space, "S-stay away!" The girl stepped back, hugging the poor puppy to her chest, obviously scared of this strange man coming towards her but Nykita would just continue walking, he'd even crouch down to put himself on similar height to her, that content smile still across his muzzle as he eyed that fear in her eyes and lfited a paw. Curling back his middle finger and using his thumb to act as a catch, he'd let the tension build up while holding it in front of her face, the spoiled girl probably never dreamed that anyone would raise a hand to her and thus looked with concern at the finger being coiled back in front of her face, not even trying to move away until it was too late! The hit was enough to make her recoil back with a pained scream, clutching her nose and dropping the pup into the waiting paw of the squirrel, stumbling back to land on her butt.
Sofey Eristis can totally not detect anything magical, and would probably bash on the use of that damned magic. Sofey pulled up the pantamime of a bow, pulled back the bow, and released a fake arrow in her mind, tagging one of the guards rather quickly. The serval would eventually have to raid the ship's weapon stock and make sure a bow was permanently hers. It had been awhile since she'd used the weapon. Still staring, Sofey now went to her belt to pull out a cigarette, light it up, and then enjoy the show. Total chaos. her favorite.
Erinna Silvermane's angered gaze was focused in the direction of where she had tossed the puma, who would need to climb a latter to get out from the water which would take time, especially if she was wearing armor. The girl's yell, asking what she had done which have her change focus to the girl. "Let go of the dog!" Erinna demanded as she clomped towards the little girl, wings extended out to make her appear larger. If the girl complied and ran off Erinna would not persue, however if the girl stayed put she would grab her, doing her best to not hurt the girl despite herself before bending her over the knee and giving her several firm slaps to the rump to embarass her and to prove her point. "Don't take things that aren't yours. Go buy a puppy to love! Don't steal someone else's!" With that she would release the girl who would hopefully flee.
Nocturnal Aymen arched a brow as Nykita slapped the girl across the face, and then again as Ernie moved to spank the child before everyone. She'd smirk lightly. That Puma would have some trouble getting out of the water, ladder, armour or naught at all. The vines the hybrid called upon made their trip fairly quick.. and it wouldn't be too long before they'd wrap around the pumas arms, and legs, dragging her down into the water's depths.. not intent on killing.. yet.. more intent on scaring with the possiblity of drowning.
Nykita Aymen stood up as the girl fell down, blinking rapidly and then pulling her hand away to look down at the stain of blood on her palm, just... dumbfounded that something like this would even happen! Of course, there was more humiliation in store for her as woman who initially came to confront her stepped in to bend her over for a hard set of public spanks, "LET ME GO! STOP! STOP IT!" She'd cry out and scream, kicking her legs frantically before being released and running off into the murmuring crowd - some were shocked, others laughed, it was a good mix of reaction but none of that phased the squirrel, who instead carried the whimpering and shivering pup back to the boy, not even saying a word other than a hair ruffle as the boy was busy hugging the puppy and being licked on the face as their re-united. No one on the dock noticed the struggles beneath the water as the puma found herself clawing at the surface, panicked air-bubbles coming from her mouth as she looked at the tentacles, well vines but she did not notice the difference - she was going to die! Meanwhile, the squirrel would approach his lovely wife and stooped down to pick up her crate again, "Shall we?"
Sofey Eristis is just watching... Nothing to add. The pirate would continue to smoke and observe.
Erinna Silvermane would stand fully up, brushing a hand through her wavy locks as she she slowly pulled her wings in with a huff. It took the alicorn a moment to realize a crowd had gather, but she didn't seem to mind as she turned to see the puppy returned to its owner. The femme would approach and squat down infront of thethe boy and produce a few silver pieces for his trouble. "Go get something nice from the bakery for yourself and your little friend." Erinna explained, her features soft and friendly as if nothing had happened at all. The femme was also not aware of the drowning puma guard as she made her way onboard and went to her quarters to calm down, still very much riding the adrenaline high of having a weapon pulled on her.
Nykita Aymen lounged against the railing on the deck of the Harbinger, glancing down at the Eileadoran docks below him with a pensive expression, eyes glancing between various individuals walking by the ship.
