Erinna Silvermane - the name of a fugitive who has escaped the grasp of Rear-Admiral Armen Plete who seemed to have a personal vendetta to capture the woman and bring her to Brigadierre Island, the infamous prison island where the criminals captured by the Royal Kasurian Navy are taken to be trialed and judged, where rumors have it that everyone taken there are already guilty before they even set foot upon the land. Unofficially, Brigadierre Island also serves as the headquarters of the Dark Wings of the Sea, the secret organization of which Rear Admiral Plete serves as the chief director. Knowing that she may be in possession of knowledge about the pirates of old, information that may lead to the great treasure of the Pieces of Eight, information that even she may not know she has, Erinna was deemed as a threat to the stability of the Kasurian Kingdom by the Royal Navy officials.

Years have passed was before the Dark Wings were able to locate Erinna Silvermane again on board the Harbinger and deduce their stop at the Moonlight Sanctuary, setting out to come to the island trading port and assimilate into the culture - becoming the every day people that chose to stay on the island for extended periods of time, even becoming regular employees under the service of the Chartier-Aymen House.

This is where the story begins...

Act 1 (Prelude) - The Dancing Shadows Live

The celebrations of the passing of the old year and the coming of the new one provided for ample distractions that allowed the Dark Wing agents to finally make their move on the alicorn, having a stakeout to determine the best approach and judge of the crew abilities along with the island itself before making their presence known to Erinna - a passing whisper made into her ear during a brush-by with a masked figure in a crowd,
"Dark Wings."
The festivities of the island were hardly dampened during the night when great fires were lit outside to roast the latest hunting catches that could be shown off by the hunters, the large table where the food was shown off at the center of the foyer, keeping the kitchens busy as one platter was finished, another was brought out to replace it, with bottles of the infamous wine being offered as drinks. There wasn't just one band of musicians either, several of them forming at different corners while flutes, violions and other smaller instruments were going around between everyone, occasional dancers also adding to the eye candy, with a very specific tiger seemingly at the center with all of his silks... some chose to wear costumes, others masks and others... nothing at all! Something different for everyone to enjoy themselves with.

Erinna Silvermane would emerge from the hallway, where the rooms were. The femme would stand and lean over the railing, looking down on all the festivities. Erinna would smile, a bit giddy as it all seemed so jubilent and full of energy. The equine would move down the stairs, looking to everything, seeming at a loss at where to begin moving to as she soon got swept up in all the comotion. Soon, Erinna would find herself near a band wih rythmic drums where she began to dance, her hooves echoing the beat of which she did not miss a one.

Raine Liot's frame was attired in a red dress this evening. The feminine curves of Raine were displayed openly, the Shapeshifter preferring to be female this eve. Fingertips idly snatching a snack or two to chew on, listening to the motion of the people and the slight murmurings of conversation. What a pleasant place!

Reman Longtail returned to the festivities again, making sure that his suit and tie were all cleaned up and presentable this evening. His mouth watered as he saw the table filled with food straight out of the kitchens, and he quickly made his way over to serve himself up something to eat. His eyes then turned towards the dance floor, where he soon spotted an alicorn moving to the beat quite expertly. Reman would wait for her to pause in her dance before moving over to introduce himself to Erinna.

Erinna Silvermane spotted the new femme that was Raine, at least 'she' was new to her. The alicorn was about to go investigate and introduce herself before Reman arrived. The femme had seen the male around, but had never really been properly introduced to him. Erinna's clomping hooves would move to a halt as she looked to Reman with a warm smile, giving him a bit of a bow. "Good evening. I am Erinna Silvermane. I hope the night has found you well!"

Raine Liot saw Reman and embarrasedly crossed up the stairs to the next floor. The reasoning for the action would not be explained here. However, Erinna had been intercepted before reaching Raine, so there wasn't much ado. Fingertips would grasp at the Bannister, remaining on the second floor. Adjusting eyepatch, which was also red for this evening.

Reman Longtail bowed back to Eriina courteously. "Ah, so you're Erinna," he said. "It's good to finally meet you. My name's Reman." He took a sip of his drink before continuing. "I take it you joined the Harbinger's crew fairly recently, didn't you?" the canine added, before turning to watch the dance floor again for a moment. He did spot Raine heading up the stairs, but figured he would catch up with him later.

Erinna Silvermane spared a final glance to the woman in red as she seemed to be seperating herself from the party as best as she could understand. The alicorn would shake her head a bit as she refocused on Reman, smiling. "A pleasure to meet you, Reman." The femme paused as she answered the question about how long she had served with the crew. "About two months or so. But I will admit, I am abit of a shut in... or I am out in the wilderness, collecting things to make me a shut in."

Raine Liot slides palms against the wooden bannister. The lady in red smiled the painted lips thinly. Glancing around to see that there were some bodies moving about. A servant passed by, and Raine gently touched the shoulder. Getting the attention to order some food proper. Something of the Cow.

Reman Longtail tilted his head slightly at Erinna's last comment. "What do you mean?" he asked. "What sort of things do you collect, Erinna?" The canine took a sip of his wine and leaned against a wall, gesturing for the alicorn to join him.

Erinna Silvermane would take the offer to join Reman at the wall to better chat. "I collect a great deal of things. Flora, fauna, relics both magical and mundane." The alicorn began as she captured a carrot from a server that happened by, taking a hefty bit and chewing for a moment before swallowing. "I also dabble in topography. I have spent a fair amount of time here making a proper, antated map of the island."

Raine Liot's fingertips idly slide down to the curve of her breasts. From betwixt them, a woodn smoothed container was drawn. It was roughly the size of a credit card, but with smooth wooden sides and a decidedly rectangular shape as a three dimensional object. Thumb pushed back a wooden cutting on top that sealed it, withdrawing a metal device. That metal device was a cylindrical piece of metal, with a wide dip as a basin on one end, a small tube running through it, and a coating of paint to make it look white with a tan filter appearance. Raine lifted the herb filled dugout to lips, but didn't light it. Just appreciating the relaxing environment. Idly listening in on a conversation, but not intruding.

Reman Longtail nodded. "Ah, a cartographer, are you?" he asked, wondering if that was the right term. "I can see how that might be useful, if we ever go to any uncharted lands in our voyages." He took another sip of his wine, relaxing slightly. "I... well, I'm the head guard aboard the Harbinger. It's my job to keep everybody safe. I'll admit, I don't always suceed at that. But I do my best."

Erinna Silvermane listened to Reman, while casually munching on her carrot. "Indeed I am. I have a bit of a compulsion to make maps." The alicorn said with a bit of a chuckle. "I always did wonder who was running security on board, it is good to finally know who to go to if there is a dangerous situation." The equine said replied with a smile. "But do not feel too down about not stopping every incident. We are a free vessel and sometimes one's freedom trapes on that of another and there are scuffles. It comes with the territory of true liberty. Sometimes, we need an arbitor for our differences."

Reman Longtail downed the last of his wine. "Well, if there is any trouble, you come and tell me," he said. "I'm not too hard to find, most of the time." He handed his glass to a servant so it could be taken away. "Yeah, though in my experience, this has been a fairly tight-knit crew. We do get along with each other most of the time. Well, except for when Raykit messes up my sleeping spot. That was unpleasant."

Erinna Silvermane nodded and smiled. "All of the crew I have met have been pretty pleasant." The alicorned admitted before sticking on Raykit. "Ah yes... that dragon. We had our diferences, but we are both stubborn and have learned to at least let the other be on relatively amicable terms." Erinna then realized that there was likely an interesting story with Reman and Ray. "Why was he messing with your sleeping area?"

Reman Longtail had to think for a moment. "You know, I honestly forget," he said. "It's been so long. I think I asked him not to do something, and he took it out on my hammock." Reman shrugged. "Yeah, as far as Raykit's concerned, you do have to be careful with him. And whatever you do, be careful around his forge. If there's one thing he takes care of more than anything else, that would be it."

A platter lowered down beside the lounging woman at the steps, a bright and cheerful smile of a fairly young cheetah lad behind the wine bottle that was on the platter, "More to drink, miss?" Just one of the many servants doing their job dodging between the crowds and serving more food, especially to those that gathered around the tables where shaking hips and jiggling busoms were covered with nothing more than a few layers of silks, yet another crowd shuffled past the canine and alicorn, some wearing costumes and masks of some forest spirits or something of that like, one of them even bumping into the man from behind before murmuring an apology weighed down by his drinks, following suit after his companions already moved past Erinna.

Raine Liot's fingertips lightly grasped a drink from the Cheetah man. "Thank you very much." stated with a warm painted smile. The feline then put in her order. Tail coiled to slide against her dress, the cuts at the side where her waist was allowing better manueverability. Even now, Raine was relaxed but ready to fight.

Erinna Silvermane laughed a little bit when Reman explained that he forgot what the details of their bout had been. "Mine was a bit of payback for him intimidating. Unfortunately he and I had it out in the captain's quarters. It was amusing, looking back on it." Erinna didn't seem to mind the crowd brushing past as she took the final bite of her carrot. However, something seemed to bother her suddenly as the crowd shuffled by her. The alicorn's ears stood completely erect on her head. The alicorn covered her mouth, trying to hold back from spitting her carrot out, finally managing to choke it back. If Erinna could turn white she would have as her eyes darted about, looking to run, but she tried not to lose it infront of everyone in the party.

Reman Longtail watched as a crowd of servants, dressed up as forest spirits of some sort, passed by him and Erinna. "Careful there," he said quietly, as one of them accidentally bumped into the canine. "You had it out in Nyktia's quarters?" he then asked the alicorn. " Huh... I wonder why I didn't hear about that before." It took him a moment to notice that Erinna's ears had suddenly stood up, and she had covered her mouth, as if she was afraid of something. "Hey, are you okay?" Reman said, moving a little closer and putting a hand on her back to reassure her.

Raine Liot lit the dugout, before glancing around. Something seemed fucky to Raine. At the first inhilation of Herb, the woman fell into herself, reaching out with her 6th sense to get a better idea of the body language and auras of the participants. Looking for signs of Hostility beyond the normal annoyance at work.

Erinna Silvermane seemed distant for a moment until Reman's hand brought her back into the moment. The alicorn would take a breath and do her best to recompose herself. The femme put on a wry smile and do her best to calm herself, which she did with some success. Erinna would let out a bit of a forced laugh. "Um... yes... I just seemed to have been struck with a wave of nausea..." The equine began as she seemed to largely recover. "I think I just need some air, if you will excuse me."

Reman Longtail nodded at Erinna. "It's alright," he said. "Happens to all of us sometimes. I myself could stand to step away for a bit." He took another glass of wine from a nearby tray. "I'm sure I'll see you again soon, Eriina. Do have a good evening." A glance was made up the stairs, as even through everything else, Reman was able to catch a whiff of the smoke from Raine's dugout. Not wanting to linger for too much longer, the canine simply gave her a friendly wave before wandering off to find somewhere quieter to hang out for a while.

Raine Liot gave Reman a warm little wave and a smile to follow it, before going back to smoking. Watching Erinna skitter out of the place. Food would come, just some chips with cheese and what not. Snacking on it, Raine then moved back to the stairs, settling down upon them as was the habit. Watching the world move by, a sly little smile and hint of herb about her.

Erinna Silvermane would manage to give a final bow to Reman. "Have a good evening..." Erinna managed to say as her mind seemed to be a million miles away now. The femme's mind seemed to be turning at a fevered pace as she clearly was on autopilot as she meandered her way up the steps, but managed to regain some of her poise and dignity at the top of the flight of the first stairs. The alicorn would spare one final look at the party before she returned to her room.

Finding herself alone in her room, Erinna tried to gather her thoughts about this new and dark development in her life but before she knew it, her private room quickly gathered unwelcome visitors, all masked to conceal their identities even if their voices carried a strange familiarity to them. Faced with an inevitable confrontation with the Dark Wings, an enemy that few knew about and ones that had the ability to penetrate so deeply into an area meant to be safe, she surrendered to them of her own will but only under a
certain condition...
The celebrations outside were still heard through the walls and floor of the room, even outside through the window where flashing lights from the fires were cast upon the ceiling if the lights were dimmed inside of the chamber, everything oozed a festive atmosphere and no one paid much attention to the details outside of the entertainment and one costume was a good as another to get around, "Erinna Silvermane." The voice that spoke from behind a mask of jungle tribes; elongated face, thick lips, wide ears and a large hood that came with a dark cloak that hide most of the body from view but it male to be sure - that was the first figure to appear before the front door, yet almost like it was not used to get in, "It is quite fortunate that you are here." Another figure, this one with a higher voice and almost sounding merry from behind a Japanese style neko mask, perched on the windowsill, one leg hanging off casually, "It saves us the trouble of looking for you further!" A low and sensual voice came from the couch, another cloaked figure, this one with the cloak parted to reveal a very neat and clean-cut suit of black covering her curvy figure as she lounged back, face covered in a porcelain mask of a kabuki actor, "To think, that you would be here of all places..." A deeper voice answered from beside her bed, this one towering a good foot or so over the rest, wearing the effigy of a bull on his head, "...though it is not surprising to find your ilk in bed with the likes of pirates." The first figure said with a slight, just a slight, amount of contempt in that deep voice.

Erinna Silvermane would have been sitting on her bed, knees being held against her chest as she seemed to be plotting her next move. The alicorn had considered most everything from alerting the captain to just using her teleportation to disappear again. Both options were hard as it would endanger her new found friends that she very much wanted to stay with. However, Erinna did not have too long to ponder her next move as a male appeared suddenly at her door which had the femme sitting up straight, gasping a bit, but she quickly got over her surprise. Erinna should have known this would happen. At this point the alicorn seemed to resign herself to the fate that has befallen her as the second spoke from the window. Erinna would sigh. "Yes... you have found me... what do you want?"

None of the masked and cloaked figures would move - one remained casually perched in the window, the other took up the couch, one before the doorway and another at the bed she was sitting at, all masks directed down at her, "You are a wanted criminal, now associating yourself with upstart pirates - we have been tasked to bring you in and answer to Lord Plete." The first figure spoke again, lifting an arm and sweeping it out in a gesture towards the entire land outside and also showing himself wearing a similar outfit to the woman on the couch- a longer coat that was less open at the front though was the main difference, "The rest of them will soon follow to Brigadierre Landing where the justice they have been distrupting can finally judge them."

Erinna Silvermane would narrow her eyes a bit as Plete was mentioned. The femme wanted to stand and give them all a piece of her mind and a taste of her power, but knew that it would only serve to waste time, perhaps even the lives of her friends. Despite her reservations to attack she would still give them all her coldest stare when regarding them. "The likes of you and Plete drove me here... and I found the company of these privateers to be a million times more enjoyable than his." Erinna replied with some defiance in her voice before going quiet, thinking for a long moment. "Surely you know my power and my knowledge..." The femme began more calmly. "Leave my friends alone... and-and... I will go with you with no resistance. I won't scream... I won't fight... you can just take me to Brigadierre's Landing..."

(03:06:28) You say, "The figure at the window let out a vibrant laugh from behind that neko mask, "Erinna Silvermane thinking she has friends! Now there is a sight to behold!" The female at the couch let her head tilt to rest against the fingers of her hand that she pulled in, letting out a thoughtful hum through her comrades laughter, "It is not unlikely she has formed some small attachment to them, no doubt she has grown complacent through the meager successes of this new band she is with..." But before anymore remarks could be made about the alicorn and her situations, the lead figure spoke up, "Very well." That caused the laughter and the thoughtful humming to pause, as if all eyes glanced towards the tribal-masked figure, "Your condition shall be met... these pirates are of no importance, you are the main and if it will hasten our success, I will agree to leave them out of this as long as they do not interfere." That seemed to placate the rest of the Dark Wings, their attention shifting back to the alicorn as if waiting for her response.

Erinna Silvermane looked quite angry when she was laughed at, especially when it was at the idea of the fact she had made friends. The femme's horn would begin to glow for a brief moment, but she would quickly extinguish it. The femme did not want to seem as though she was going to pick a fight, but she really wanted to now. However, when the leader agreed to her terms she would relax, seeming to find some comfort in the fact that her friends would be left unharmed. In response the alicorn would raise her hands in surrender and slowly move to stand. "If you agree... then I surrender. You will get no struggle from me, so long as you do not harm them." The alicorn wanted to be sure they understood the terms, not fully trusting them and for good reason. Erinna would then offer her wrists to be shackled, not looking happy about it, but mildly less angry than she had just been.

The extraordinarily tall figure beside the bed would be the one to step forward with the cuffs, large manacles that clamped around her forearms and when they were on, she'd feel her powers waning, restricted and ultimately suppressed - an anti-magic restraint! All while the lead figure would speak, "These pirates are ultimately of no concern to us, retrieving you for Lord Plete is out objective and if agreeing to these conditions makes it possible for that to be achieved easier, so much the better - the Harbinger and her crew will remain here and nor will they be killed should they get in our way." He sounded rather unconcerned about the whole situation, as if it did not matter whether or not the Harbinger crew was dead or alive at the end of this mission. Once Erinna was in shackles, the large figure out produce a similarly dark hooded cloak to swing and let drape down on her shoulders, covering the rest of her figure, "We shall make our way out through the forests... that way even if this plant creature does detect us, there will be little they can do to interfere."

Erinna Silvermane watched as the manicles were clapped onto her forearms. Immediately Erinna would shiver as she felt her powers wane, making her feel light headed for a moment before regaining her composure. The alicorn knew what the effect was and she wasn't surprised. In fact she would have been much more surprised if they were only mundane shackles. The femme would bow her head to help facilitate the robe being put on her. Despite her compliance the alicorn would still be trying to think of a way to some way to not only escape, but make these goons pay. Erinna knew she was in no real position to do such. When Dakota was brought up she would perk, hoping that somehow she would detect them and intervene.
Moving through the wilderness of the island to avoid the celebrations going on, the Dark Wings and Erinna are happened upon by a huntress. The initial sight of people she recognized did not immediately alarm Orra but their strange behaviour alerted her curiousity, approaching the group with friendly questions, the huntress was swiftly struck aside by Annah, the girl she had seen so often out in the woods. With Erinna being spotted, the Dark Wings decide that Orra shall be taken with them in order to avoid her alerting the rest of the island but when Annah steps in to subdue the huntress, she finds out that the claws of the huntress are not to be
"trifled with..."
Orra had ventured into that strange spot where rain turned to snow and despite a sunny day everything was cold. The light spattering of pink and red along the edges where snow turned to grass, bits of bone and hide scattered about but whatever animal it had been was mostly devoured. The huntress had managed to clean herself up a bit before laying out in the snow. Usually not a fan of the cold but after a good meel it just seemed to feel nice to sprawl out in. Busy licking her claws clean with her wings spread out and burried under the snow looking perfectly content with herself though her ears as always were on full alert keeping a listen for any near-by incase she felt that need to pounce someone.

Annah walked forward ahead of the small group, the usually ruggedly dressed canine wore something much different than Orra would remember - her outfit was blac, entirely with the jacket replaced by a long twin-tailed coat, the bandana wrapped around her muzzle was not green either but also of the similar black color and even her movements were different - instead of a energetic stride, she seemed to step with a cold and precise calculation, any wilderness from her had vanished as she trekked ahead towards the prone huntress, either unaware of her presence or ignoring her altogether.

Orra was in that half asleep freshly fed state of mind which had her guard down just a bit more then usual, that and since arriving here she'd found little reason to be as on edge as she usally was so it would take little effort to approach the huntress, the scent of Annah one she was already used to by now even. The closer she got though the more Orra would stir as ears flickered and she shifted her form around and up into a crouch, snow covered wings fanning out to clear off while her tail slid in under the snow hiding itself just a bit. She didn't seem ready to attack as sshe continued licking at her claws but looked more like she was waiting, likely expecting a casual visit and chat with the hound as per usual.

Annah continued on her course that would take her past the huntress without even sparing her a glance but it was barely half-way towards her when the rest of the party that was behind her began to appear and all of them wearing similar garb as Annah; all black versions of their usual outfits with long twin-tailed coats except one, a hooded figure at the center with glowing purple hair and a long horn sticking out at the front. Erinna! Their feet touched the snow, still unphased by the lounging huntress but should she rise to sate her curiousity, even approach them or stand in their way, Annah would not show signs of slowing down, lifting one arm across her chest before it swung out at speeds that were not bound by ordinary people, aiming to impact the side of the huntress and send her skidding away in the snow.

Orra did indeed stand intent on greeting Annah as usual but the sounds and scents of others quickly reached those senses of hers, along with Erinna's only making for a bunch of confusion as gaze shifted about, eventualy coming back to Annah just as she went to give the huntress a whack. Not really expecting it or prepared for such she was unable to defend and took the hit as her large form slid along the snow a bit, talons digging in and tearing mud up into the snow while wings flared out to prevent herself from toppling over then snapping in as she gave a sudden lunge forward... From calm to rage in the blink of an eye as she tried to tackle Annah.

The mutt took a few more steps past where she smacked the huntress away from but then stopped, as did the rest of the party behind her and all eyes except one pair turned towards Orra as she leapt towards her supposed friend - no doubt she was a fearsome sight with her wings spread out and her tail whipping behind her, snow being kicked up all around her from that lunge towards Annah but the canine mutt looked at her with a very unconcerned gaze, watching as the enraged huntress came upon her and... moved her body to the side, very fluidly as if she became more liquid than solidf or a moment, "Hmph!" That was a haughty sound that she made before her arm shot out towards Orra, aiming to clamp around her muzzle firmly with a grip that did not belong to anyone with ordinary strength, enough to stop the huntress in her leap and hold her there by the muzzle.

Orra had not been in such a situation for some time now so she was a bit on the rusty side... Nothing she couldn't shake off. When that grip came about her muzzle she froze, from afar some might mistake it as fear But Annah would have a first hand view of those intense narrowed eyes, her hand no doubt starting to vibrate from that growl starting to rumble up from her chest.. There was no fear not in the least just anger bubbling to the surface as that image of 'friend' dissolved Posture shifted to face the hound and she stood up straight. The only warning Annah would have was a split second of sparks around her fingers against Orras muzzle before a burst of electricity would be sent out, ment to make her release long enough for orra to suddenly smash her head forward to headbutt Anna good and hard.

The party that consisted of the big bull Orvallenos that was the barkeep at the tavern outside of the manor, the skinny cheetah boy Elijah that acted as the waiter, the other canine mutt sister Svetah that was usually helping out at the gardens and even Kell, the stoic lion janitor. All of them looked at the spectacle with either lack of concern or mute amusement as their comrade took on the enraged huntress, "Tch..." Annah snorted as she saw the sparks, clenching her paw tighter around that muzzle just as the electricity shot against her palm and her snort turned into a wince, feeling her arm jittering with the strength, the fur charred slightly and smoking as he stepped back with a bit of angered surprise, glaring angrily at the other woman swinging her head forward. CRACK! Their skulls met and Orra would feel like she head-butted a statue for a moment but forcing the woman to take back another step for some space between them, "Why, you...!"

Orra thankfully had one hell of a hard head, those big horns of hers needed a thick skull to support them after all and though it would sting like hell she was too damn pissed to give a shit.. She'd deal with the headache after... As Annah stepped back Orra pressed forward while her tail whipped around behind Annah to try twist up those legs and give a tug and yank her right off her feet, she also brought up her left leg which would likely be more the focus as no one really wanted to get kicked by those talons making it easier for her tail to do it's work.. If annah went down Orra would be over her in an instant trying to push that big dragon foot down over her skull and throat and force her head hard to the ground. "Explain yourself!"

The resonating crack from the head-to-head impact was enough to set Annah's teeth on edge and her face to break another look of surprise towards Orra, who was apparently tougher than she thought but there was no way she was going to be able to stand up to someone like her! His feet spread to get a better stance against the winged draconic beast, feeling that tail wrapping around them and smirking as her body tensed, growing solid all over in that iconic ability as the tail wrapped around her feet would find them extremely hard to move but when that foot shot forward and struck her face, there was a sound of scales and talons hidden an extremely hard surface, Annah's body being violently jerked backwards to slam into the ground with enough force to make a indent in it, wincing just slightly through the Stone Skin but before she could even growl, Orra was on her and that terrifying foot was pressed down over her face, talons clenching around her head and curling in to dig in against her skull. There was a subtle scraping sound being made as the talons dragged down across her head but there was still that very pissed off and defiant glare up at Orra.

Orra was now getting a feel for that stone skin of hers, a neat trick but one she was determined to shatter if need be, talons curved in more a warning threat as those pink eyes glared right back down at her, the lack of response would have her curving her talons as if to grip that head like a hand and then she leaned forward and shoved her foot down a bit to add a good little burst of pressure along with her weight.. any normal creatures head would have simply 'popped' in this situation so the longer Orra had to wait for an answer the more pressure she added and the tighter those talons would squeeze trying to break through. One talon shifting rather close to one of those lovely eyes. "I will rip every bit of that stone flesh from your bones if you don't start talking Annah!" she warned. "Don't test me!"

The strength of her stone skin clashed with the crushing power of those talons, more sounds of scraping coming from the struggle as Annah held her pose in defiance of the huntress on her but then she felt them tightened, the pressure becoming more apparent and for a moment, her eyes flashed with concern and that concern was only doubled when she felt the talons closing in a little more which meant that... her Stone Skin was failing! "Annah." That concerning turned into fear as she released a muffled call beneath that foot towards the huntress, one that could hardly be understood when spoke to the sole of a dragon foot. It was at that moment that Orra would feel someone else really close to her and if she turned, the unimpressed and dark features of the lion, Kell, would be there looking... not even at her but past her, as if she was not worthy of his gaze, "...enough of this." The blink of eye, a twitch of her tail or flutter of her wings would be the amount of time Orra would have before the fist slammed into her stomach, one that also seemed to be made out of stone with how hard it felt but unlike the grip Annah had about her muzzle much more power and he barely seemed even shift his stance!

Orra was so focused on getting answeres out of Annah she didn't even register another nearing till the voice rang out and she did twist some to look though not letting up the preassure she had on Annah's head. as expected she had no time to prepare herself for the blow that followed, even with Gaea covering a portion of her stomach there was no buffering it as fist connected with her stomach. She'd at least get another good hard shove on Ainas face with those talons before stumbling back and droping to her knees in the snow and slumped forward with a hand on the ground and the other where she was hit, the little spazems in her wings and back a sign she'd had the wind knocked clear out of her as she stared at the snow gasping. It was a dumb move on her part not to keep an eye on the rest now she was paying for it.

Kell remained standing where he was with one arm folded against the small of his back while the other was outstretched after striking the huntress in the gut and removing her from Annah, who scrambled back with an obviously disheveled appearance, brushing at the sides of her head to search for damage that may have got past her Stone Skin, both furious with and fearful of the huntress as she glared down at her, wanting to strike her down but that fear holding her back, "We are taking her with us to avoid leaving behind evidence." The lion said off-handedly, having decided that on a whim and if Orra looked up, perhaps she'd see the back of his fist swinging in from the side to backfist her on the side of the head.

Orra was much to busy trying to get that whole breathing thing back up and working to look up.. Annah probably could have struck her down in that moment no problem but thankful the fear was placed.. not that it stopped the lion any as she felt a sudden sting against the side of her head, she could feel her limbs go limp and she was pretty sure she even left the ground a bit to skin in the snow but she couldn't be sure as everything went black in that moment, a loud buzzing ring echoing in her ears and when she did finally snap too she was laying on her back, everything was blurry all for a moment and then blackness again as she passed out, even that long tail of hers laid like a limp dead snake in the snow but at least she wouldn't tear anyone apart now! Dead weight it would likely take two to lug her heavy ass away.

Walking through the wilderness of the Moonlight Sanctuary island, Nykita stumbles upon his firstmate striking a rock with her bare fists to vent her frustration with Reman coming in from the side next, the impromptu meeting between Nykita, Reman and a drunk Sofey outside in the snow-covered area of the woods leads to the discovery of the missing alicorn travelling along with other familiar faces of the Chartier-Aymen Manor - Orvallenos the bull barkeep from the tavern, the sister Annah and Svetah who helped keep the wilderness in check and made sure to help drain the stocks of alcohol everynight, the young cheetah Elijah who waitered on the patrons at the tavern and even the silent and stoic lion janitor Kell that had to clean up all of the messes that the sisters usually left behind... why were all of them there and why were they dressed so strangely in dark formal attire? Sofey was the first to approach to demand for answer the absence that Erinna made them suffer through. The response was swift and brutal in the form of a hard backfist from Annah, displaying a surprising amount of strength that was enough to send the hardened pirate down on her back and let the group continue walking as if nothing had occured even with Nykita and Reman watching in surprise from the side. Before Sofey even finished falling to the ground, Nykita and Reman rushed forward in defense of their comrade, engaging the people that they thought they knew, the canine guard envoked the power of his newly developed magical abilities and Nykita landing a solid hit upon the woman that struck Sofey down. To their surprise, the battle-hardened crew of the Harbinger found themselves quickly outmatched as the magic abilities Reman displayed were quickly overcome and even the supernatural power of Nykita's physical abilities were no match for the abilities that were displayed by the Dark Wings... it was only when Sofey had been pinned down by an angered Annah, taunting her with a bloodied wad of spit to the face that the sister raised her arm for a killing blow, being halted by the silent and stoic Kell whose words seemed to carry more weight with the dark group of agents, that Erinna finally spoke up about the struggle that her former crew were putting up...
"that their fight was for nothing because she had made her choice already..."
Sofey Eristis was just... punching stone. Literally, that was all she was doing. Her fists continued to left-right-left-right as if she was training like some martial arts master. A drunken master; the amount of bottles behind her toppled at a staggering six, and two more were not too far from her. Sofey had been at this all day, and the cold was all that seemed to cool her off. She wasn't wearing her jacket, though, which was off to the side, concealing her belt, and weapons, leaving the pirate in nothing but her trousers, boots, and loose-fitting shirt.

Nykita Aymen's head tilted slightly to the right as he watched another fist crack against the stone, eyeing for any marks of blood left on the surface that may have stained the snow around there and for the condition of her fists as he stood off at the very edge of the snowy biome, as if unable to take a step further into the wonderland scene. With his arms folded across his chest, the squirrel merely watched for a few minutes and if she did seem like her fists were starting to lose the fight with the stone, that is when he'd call out, "...that stone steal some of your rum?"

Sofey Eristis stopped and huffed. Sofey's knuckles had long since turned bruised and bloodied, way, way, waaaaay to long ago. The alcohol, the pain... she knew she hadn't broken anything, at least in her right. The left was another story, but she had been maintaining the same strength on either arm, so if one wasn't broken, it was likely the other was the same. She'd lower both fists, then taking to grabbing a bottle of rum from that stored stash she kept off to the side. They were cold, and she liked that. "Fuckin' stone been disrespectin' me, Cap'n. Ain't been listenin' teh me authoriteh," said the serval, grinning heavily as she took a long, harsh sip of the rum. A small teeter was seen as she'd walk and adjust to stare at him. "Besides... been cravin'eh fight'en ye got'eh fuckin' beast caged'en this fuckin' island!" she slurred her words a little bit at the end, clearly angry as she stared down the squirrel captain ahead of her.

Nykita Aymen's tufted ears stood up for a moment as he glanced at the bloodied rock that had recieved a righteous beating for the disrespect it showed towards the serval captain, then slowly let his gaze move back to the drunk woman with a slight smirk, "I have heard of being stuck between a rock and a hard place but to turn and punch the rock is an interesting solution..." Though his ears remained standing upright when Sofey showed her anger at feeling trapped, "And is the Harbinger ready to sail in your opinion?" The squirrel asked with a pensive expression, keeping his arms across his chest but if Sofey was close enough or perhaps had enough awareness, she may spot that the squirrel's gaze rather quickly shifted from her to something past her, narrowing slightly while his arms fell from across his chest and he'd take a step forward into the snow biome.

Sofey Eristis took a stammering, angry look over at Nykita. She slugged nearly the last of the rum down her throat, and then held that bottle in her hand, angrily. "'Cus ye get me fuckin' stuck, Cap'n! Stuck'ere'n ain't able teh fuckin' fight nothin' bout ye shitty island! Me fightin' the fuckin' creatures, no less, be hurtful teh ye damn wife'n I sure's shit ain't tryin' teh hurt her," the pirate screamed back at him, before yelling angrily and tossing the bottle at the rock-face. She'd stammer up to the squirrel, raising up her bloodied fists to him "Ye think I'd be breakin'em down if'n I still needed'em fer work? 'Course we be checked, ye shit! I ain't Jazz'en I can run'uh fuckin' crew." Sofey lowered her eyes at him. "Been ready," said through a darkened gaze, fists lowering to hold at her side "Captain."

Reman Longtail, following Nykita's orders, had spent the better part of the day on watch around the manor, asking everyone he ran into if they had seen the alicorn, Erinna, lately. Reman himself hadn't spotted her since the party not long ago, and while he knew very little about her just yet, her disappearance still struck him as odd. Having determined that no one had seen Eri in some time now, the canine decided to go looking for Nykita so he could report his findings. It wasn't long before he found him, just as he crossed into a rather snowy part of the island, with Sofey not far from him. The canine's eyes fell upon the bloodied rock for a moment before he finally spoke up. "Captain, ah..." he said slowly. "What's going on out here?"

Nykita Aymen was looking past the bloodied rock now and the serval that had stepped up to face him, across the falling snow of the particular area there was a small troupe of hooded figures, all wearing long black cloaks with hoods covering a good portion of their faces but there no hiding the familiarity of the featuers that a few of them had - the hulking figure was probably the most familiar with his surprisingly soft-featured expression for a bull that size; Orvellanos the barkeep at the tavern that was the one giving drinks to everyone and often remarking on how foolish everyone was to actually pick fights with Sofey or giving Reman a free drink during his guard duties. Another one was the canine mutt, Svetah, one that often jumped in alongside Sofey in those bar brawls to show the boys how it was done and her sister Annah, someone that Reman would run into out in the wooded areas, swinging that double-headed axe to chop down more wood for the fires. There were others too; Elijah, that skinny cheetah boy waiter that often laughing -way- too happily and that stoic lion, Kell, that was more often the one cleaning up after Sofey was done wrecking the place! But even in the middle of all those faces, the horn and purple hair that fell out fron the front of the hood was hard to miss, "...Erinna?" The squirrel spoke in surprise, one paw reaching to Sofey's shoulder as if to say that this talk was not to be forgotten but continued after this.

Sofey Eristis just watched for a moment as familiar faces strode on by, and she would immediately thrust away Nykita's attempt at touching her shoulder angrily. Sofey stared down those who were walking, and even she, in her drunken stupor, couldn't quite make out everything. "Oi!" she called out, thinking, too, the same thing that the squirrel spoke aloud.

Reman Longtail moved closer to Nykita and Sofey. He had only caught the tail end of the argument between them, but he could sympathize with the serval's comment. They'd been stuck on this island for a bit too long, in his opinion. Not immediately spotting the group of hooded figures, he cleared his throat before speaking again. "Captain, I asked the locals near the manor," he said. 'And no one's seen Erinna in a few days. She does seem to have... disappeared..." The canine's eyes followed Nykita's towards the group. Even at a distance, he had a strange feeling he recognized a couple of them- Ovellanos, the bartender, Annah, the canine woodsman, and a couple others. But there was one figure who stood out from all the others. "Ah... Erinna?" Reman gasped, looking towards the squirrel captain, who seemed just as suprised as he was. "What's going on?"

Nykita Aymen's gaze darted down towards Sofey as she thrust his paw away but just as before, he would push that aside for later when this... situation was resolved, "Erinna!" He'd call out towards the group after Sofey, glancing back to Reman as if to confirm that this was something that surprised everyone and not a thing she told someone - the calls from the trio only earned them a brief glance from the alicorn before she would no doubt tug the hood closer around her head and continue walking, surrounded by the familiar yet strange-acting faces as none of them had their usual personalities even, more rigid and... determined than aloof or relaxed as they may have been beforehand, "They see us~" The cheetah, Elijah said outloud but at the head of the group, the lion Kell barely seemed to react, "It does not matter, just keep following." Then the booming voice of the bull added, "Let us not take the entire island with us, it would be troublesome..." Adjusting wrapped bundle on his shoulder.

Sofey Eristis didn't like the way this sniffed out, though the serval didn't like the way this all looked. "Part'uh the fuckin' crew, right?" Sofey said over to Nykita, scowling at the Captain as the situation seemed to call away from that fact. A huff was made, and the serval would aim to close the distance on the band of barmates she new from down yonder. "Oi! The fuck's goin'en Orvy?" she'd ask, clearly having made a nickname for the brute "Ye jus' gonna fuckin' walk right'en by like we ain't callin' teh ye?" Sofey was stammering closer to all of them, still very much so drunk!

Reman Longtail continued to watch the group from afar. Were these really the same people he'd become familiar with in his time here on the island? They seemed so different now, and it sent a chill down Reman's spine. Almost involuntarily, he felt his hand moving towards his sword, though he didn't draw it just yet. "Erinna! What are you doing?" the canine yelled. "Come back!" There was something very wrong here, that much was clear. He watched as Sofey broke away to approach the group, and readied himself to follow her if the need arose.

Nykita Aymen's was moving steadily across the snow towards the group when Erinna pulled the hood around her head some more and did not respond while those around her seemed... relaxed? "Reman..." The squirrel began and he was with Sofey and Reman about not liking this but Sofey was quicker than him in closing in towards the group of strangely cloaked residents of the island, none of whom seemed particularly concerned about it with the bull barely sparing her a glance as she called out to him in particular, merely adjusting the wrapped bundle over his shoulder and Sofey got closer, she would be the first to see something hanging out from that fabric, a white-furred tail with a familiarly spiked tip.

Sofey Eristis saw the tip of something, was that a weapon! "Oi!" she said loudly, putting to stand herself right in front of all of them. Surely, each of them had seen the pirate fight, and knew how devastating she coudl be! Sofey was seeking to stop everyone right then and there, and look to them angrily. "The fuck'es goin'en? Ye ain't talkin', I ain't patient'en ye thinkin' ye jus' gonna fuckin' walk by me like I ain't'ere..? Ye lost ye fuckin' minds?!" Sofey still bled, by the way, from knuckles whose callouses opened up harshly beneath the constant weight of stoneblows.

Reman Longtail was growing more and more concerned the longer he watched the group. He moved quickly, keeping pace with Nykita, though Sofey was still far ahead of the two of them. He tried calling out to a few of the others. "Ovellanos! Where are you going?" he yelled. "What's gotten into all of you?" Was this some spell that had befallen them? That was the only explanation he could come up with at the moment. He dashed ahead of Nykita towards the group, still not drawing his sword. Not until he had some idea of why these people had seemingly gotten it into their minds to kidnap Erinna!

The group marched with the lion ahead of everyone by a slight bit but beside him walked the pair of mutt sisters, on his other side was the the bull and the cheetah skipped behind them all and as Sofey got in front of them all with the intent to stop them, she was greeted with... ignorance? The lion seemed to looked not even through her but over her, Orvellanos was the only one to seemingly spare her an actual glance with that usually sullen expression, "Out of my way!" Came a sudden and harsh hiss but Sofey may have felt the boot sinking into her gut before her ears registered the call as Svetah, her brawling companion lunged forward with that kick that seemed... several times more powerful than any hit she ever threw around the serval before and not only that, it was not a wild brawl-like attack but a precise strike of the martial art variety with enough force behind it to send the stalwart captain tumbling back if she took the hit.

Sofey Eristis was way drunk, and probably couldn't dodge a hit if she tried, plus it was a kick! Sofey would end up flying back through the air, chest cavity horribly crunching, as she wasn't wearing her armor, beneath the boot of the big bull. A gasp of air was made, and Sofey was reeling for just a moment. She would desperately try to get up, fingers numb and hurting, and she not being able to breathe properly.

Reman Longtail got to Sofey's side just as Svetah launched a nasty looking kick right at the serval. He grimaced as a nasty sounding crack resonated. It was clear now- whoever these people were, they were in no mood to talk. Reman dashed to get between the group and Sofey, drawing his sword. "That's enough," he growled, pointing his blade at the lion, Kell, who seemed to be the leader of this strange group. "Let Erinna go! Now!"

Nykita Aymen's foot crunched in the snow as the other foot crunched in Sofey, eyes widening as Reman dashed forward to get between the group and Sofey, the blade drawn towards the lion who did not seem very concerned with the new threat aimed towards him, "Kyahahahahaha!" Sounded a laugh from behind, "You are -so- mad! I bet you did that to vent from what happened!" Elijah covered his mouth with a paw to try and stiffle his snicker, earning himself a death glare from Svetah after she had just kicked Sofey away, "Shut up! I don't want to hear anything from you!" She'd huff sharply and look away, proceeding to walk forward past where Sofey was laying and unless Reman decided to get in their way, they would ignore him but should the blade cross their path, he'd find the same mutt whirling upon him with another kick! But... she was a good ten feet from him when she threw her leg out in a sweeping kick at mid height? "Hey, now..." Orvellanos murmured with a bit of concern in his voice towards the mutt, "Reman! Get down!" Nykita yelled from afar in a sharp warning in the hopes that the faithful guard would duck and should he manage to duck, he'd feel a sharp wind sweeping over his head but should her fail to duck and maybe have that blade across his front defensively, he'd feel a sudden burst of pressure against his blade, as if another blade had suddenly clashed with his and if he was not careful, he was going to be thrown back a few feet from the force!

Sofey Eristis was seeking to throw weight in some type of underhook to knock the bull from his graces. Should you expect Sofey to take on any less? While someone else went Ky-Yah! the serval went low blow, wanting to take down the male by jamming him between his legs and up and into his junk, maybe even lifting him up from the ground and seeking to throw in the most devastating, angry powerbomb! "Fuck!" she screamed, then immediately hunching over in pain, not able to stand straight with the pain to her chest and center. Something was broken, and she just knew it. Breathing was erratic and hoarse.

Reman Longtail kept his blade raised. It seemed a bit excessive to use it against this group, since they appeared to be unarmed, but who knew what weapons they might be hiding underneath their cloaks? His eyes darted back and forth between the members of the group, who were looking less and less familiar with each passing second. It was then that he turned his attentions to Svetah, who flung another kick at him from several feet away. Unfortunately, Nykita's warning came too late, and before Reman knew what was happening, he felt a blast of wind striking his blade. He struggled to resist it for a moment, but it was no use, and he was indeed thrown backwards, landing in a heap a few feet away. Reman struggled to his feet, bruised but unbeaten. Ignoring Sofey's plight for the moment, the canine howled and charged at the group, aiming the flat of his blade whoever he ran into first. He wasn't about to try to kill these people, not yet anyway.

The calm and sullen-looking bull looked down at the serval that lunged at him, "I would not do that..." His feet planted the ground and stood stock still, body seeming to freeze as Sofey swung up between his legs to slam her fist into his rocks... almost literally as the hardness of the surface she hit felt like she was hitting the stone again with Orvellanos himself seemingly unphased by the strike but the cloaked wrapped around the bundle over his shoulder fell apart slightly to reveal the bound and unconscious form of Orra, looking slightly roughed up, "What the Hell are you doing to my crew?!" Nykita snarled as his form joined the fray, leaping foward only to be intercepted by a slightly annoyed looking Annah, who barred his path with her arms crossed over her chest, "Hiiiii~!" Reman would hear the giggle over his head and if he happened to glance up, he'd find the cheetah, Elijah seemingly... floating over him with a happy smile and a foot swinging down to catch him beneath the chin. -CRACK!- Nykita's fist slammed into the face and the unimpressed and/or annoyed expression Annah had on it, her figure sliding back a few feet in the snow while her head turned ever so slightly from the strike but barely seemed phased otherwise, the annoyance turning into strain while Svetah was upon Sofey again, aiming to grasp the hair of the serval from behind and show that surprising strength again with a hard thrust forward, aiming to slam her face into the ground to hold her there, "You are one annoying bitch, you know that? Always picking the stupidest of fights and breaking -everything-!"

Sofey Eristis was in too much pain, and the serval's hand met what the fuck was that! It's what kept her down for a second, and she was in pain, in too many places, to even focus. The fact that she was drunk, too, hadn't helped, either! When she was leaned over, unable to have lifted up the bull because she hit into something made of stone, Svetah snuck up behind her and smashed her face into the cold ground, a small 'Oooof' being heard. "Tha's Cap'n Bitch teh ye, dog!" she growled and said through grit teeth, pain overriding her so much that it was hard to move. Sofey'd aim to spit right in Svetah's face, and then go to reach up for the hand about the back of her head and grab at it! Maybe she could break the thing, and just add in to the claim.

Reman Longtail finally saw the bundle opening slightly, revealing the fact that Orra had been inside all along. Reman was only vaguely familiar with her, but one thing was clear- these people were trying to make off with not one, but two members of the Harbinger's crew. He barely had time to register this, however, when he heard a giggling above his head. He looked up to see the cheetah, Elijah, floating over him just in time to take a nasty kick right to the jaw. Reman stumbled backwards a few steps, clutching at his muzzle. He was already struggling to catch his breath, but he wasn't finished yet. Calling upon his powers over earth, he picked out a nearby rock and sent it flying magically towards the floating cheetah, all the while moving closer to rejoin the fray.

Nykita Aymen followed through with his strike to make the canine bitch slide back a little more but as his fist pulled back, her face was... unmarked? Barely a redness to register on her scowl and her arms fell from across her chest while Nykita held back his surprise, ears perked and swiveled around towards Sofey and Reman around him, the cheetah landing deftly onto one foot as Reman stumbled back, looking surprised when the rock was sent hurling at him, "Really?" He'd taunt with an amused tone of voice, watching as the rock came at him before his arm shot out at lightning speed, index and middle fingers stuck out to impact the rock and smash it into bits with the sound of two hard objects coming together, grinning at the canine guard and then suddenly launching himself forward, as if pushing off the air itself to close the distance between them in the blink of an eye, spinning once and sending double-kick towards the chest of the canine. The sound of something wet splattering on the surface would come from Sofey and Svetah though, as the bloodied wad of spit landed on the cheek of the mutt, her eyes flaring opened with murderous intent and raising her free hand up, fingers formed in the same fashion as the cheetah just had, "Whoa, now...!" And having seen what the strike did to the rock, Nykita turned and leapt towards the pinned serval, "Sofey!" Just as Svetah jabbed the fingers right at the face of the serval! And then Kell, the stoic lion who was at the lead suddenly stood over her, one arm holding the bicep of the mutt's arm, "...we agreed not to kill any of them." He'd said calmly down at her, easily holding her back and giving her an unimpressed look, his foot almost casually flicking out to land a kick to the downed serval and kick her out from beneath the pin, sending her rolling away, "...bad idea." Came the slightly agitated voice of the other mutt sister behind Nykita, who stopped when he saw that the strike had been averted, whirling around onto her just in time for her finger to plunge into his chest, beneath his right shoulder with a meaty squelch, stunning him for a just a split second for her to yank it out and with a snake-like position, strike him twice more to pierce his clothing and his body, adding to the flow of blood down his front.

Reman Longtail was taken by suprise when the cheetah, Elijah, simply stuck out two of his fingers and shattered the rock Reman had sent his way. How had he done that? The next thing he knew, the cheetah suddenly launched himself feet first towards Reman, double-kicking him square in the chest with a resounding crack. The canine was sent stumbling backwards, clutching one hand to his chest. It felt like something had broken in there. For a moment, Reman could only stare at the kidnappers in disbelief. Then, gathering what was left of his strength, the canine used his magic to lift up a few more rocks and hurl them at Elijah. Even if he was able to block or dodge them all, the plan was that this would distract him long enough for Reman to charge in and bring the cheetah back down to earth.

Nykita Aymen barely saw the arm of the woman move as it struck at his chest like a snake, sinking past the layers of clothing and stab him with those two fingers twice more, adding to the flow of blood that was forming down his chest and as strong as he was, that had him stumbling back a step with one paw reaching across his wounded chest and looking at the bloodied finger tips that Annah was still holding up in that striking pose, "...what?" He had never seen such attacks before and their speed and power took him by surprise as the taste of blood began to fill his mouth, some of it coming from the corner of his lips, the sound of another hard strike had him glancing to the side just as Reman went stumbling back - Elijah let out another vibrant laugh with a smooth backwards flip through the air after that double-kick landed, "Kyahaha! Geez! You really are a glutton for punishment, aren't ya?" The lithe cheetah boy crossed both arms over his chest with a smile, facing off the guard dog with a tilt of his head, as if this was nothing more than a game to him, ignoring the confrontation behind him that went on between Kell holding Svetah back from inserting her fingers into the skull of the prone serval captain, "...this is just a pointless waste of time." The lion muttered in a dark tone, glancing to the big bull who was carrying the wrapped up body of the unconscious Orra over his shoulder, motioning for him to keep moving, "Elijah! Stop playing around!" Kell called out to the cheetah as the stones flew at him, giving Reman another demonstration of his abilities when his feet braced off of seemingly thin air, propelling him skyward at a rapid pace as if to see if the stones gave chase, "Fiiiiiiine~" The speedy cat rolled his eyes with a sigh.

Seradhe frowned gently as he made his way up the slope. the tiger was known for his failing sin finding people, but this was absurd. After a full curcuit of the island, he decided to try the snow covered hill. Luck! he heard voices, but they seemed.. panicked. and the sound she heard were more violent than he was expecting. With a push to his pace, he sped up the hill, pausing to stare at the sight before him. Though when his gaze fell on the bull, seemingly carrying something, Sera spoke up. "what's going on he...." he gasped, r ecognizing the furred form in the bulls arms. Without thinking, the Tiger leapt at him. Whatever else was happening, he knew it would be worse if Orra was taken. Without his blade, and the islands natural miasma limiting his own gifts, Sera was left with his slightly dulled claws, which he swept at a heavily muscled arm.

Reman Longtail growled at Elijah. "No," he replied, panting for breath. "What's... gotten into... all of you- augh!" His attempt to grab the cheetah was a complete failure, as the feline simply backfliped though the air before Reman even got close to him. As for the stones he had hurled, when Elijah leapt up high into the air, Reman tried to send the stones after him, but before long, they were so far away that they slipped from his control and fell back to earth. The canine then turned his attentions to the rest of the battle, and only just now noticed that Nykita was in danger. "I'm coming!" he yelled, stumbling towards the Captain to try and get between him and Annah, swinging his sword as he went. Seradhe's presence was only barely noticed as the tiger leapt at Orvellanos. "They're- guh! They're taking Errina, that's what!"

Nykita Aymen felt his breathing growing heavier, a grimace as he realized that blood was filling his lung and more blood came up with each breath, his knee hitting the ground soon afterwards as he folded his ears back with a bloody display of his teeth in that grimace - who the fuck were these people?! Though as he thought about that, he heard what was being said and turned to the charging guard canine, "Reman... no!" He'd yell out as Elijah flipped without much effort, putting himself upside-down and pushing off the air above him to become a missile aimed right at Reman with every intention to slam the poor man into the snow with a cloud of it being thrown up around them, "Bad dog!" The cheetah laughed to himself, seemingly giving Seradhe the chance he'd need to get a swipe at the big bull carrying Orra over his shoulder but just as the tiger closed in, the big male turned his head with that dull look in his eyes and as the claws went for his arm, his entire body seemingly just... smoothly lean fluidly leaned back in a very smooth motion to avoid the attack, letting the tiger just... move right past his front, "...there will be no end of this if we stay here longer." And perhaps Sera would have enough time to glance up as a huge fist came down on him from behind, aiming to smash him into the ground.

Seradhe's ears perked to Remans yell, and he put extra effort into his sprint. The complete miss had seras wild spring going past the bull. completely taken offguard by how skillfuly he was dodged by a large bull. The downward hammering was only noticed at the last second, and Sera swiftly went limp. unable to dodge, he let the blow take him betweent he shoulders. Though instead of an impact, his relaxed form simply fell tot he ground hard, sinking into the snow until he smacked to the ground underneith. "Ooomph" he coughed, inhaling snow and dust, then coughing again. "unh...." trying to push back up to see where they were going.

Reman Longtail stopped just short of Nykita and Annah. "Huh?" he yelped, before looking behind him just in time to see Elijah flying towards him like a cannonball. The cheetah hit Reman square in the back, pile-driving him into the snow. This time, the canine found himself unable to get back up. He was in so much pain he could barely move at all, and he was struggling to catch his breath. "Augh!" he groaned. "Fuck... me..." Reman started coughing up blood. This was bad. He needed medical attention fast, but he wasn't sure he would be able to make it back to the manor without help. It was all he could do to glare up at the kidnappers. This was a betrayal. He thought he had known these people just a few hours earlier. Now he wasn't so sure.

Nykita Aymen glared towards the lion that stood between him and his two comrades, ears folding back sharply as his bloodied teeth were bared in a snarl, feeling the warmth of his blood soaking into his shirt as he began to rise only for the voice of the alicorn to break that tension, eyes drawing towards the woman as she spoke. For a moment, the angered snarl remained but as Erinna spoke on, the squirrel's expression turned into disbelief - she was leaving? This was on purpose, "Erinna!" The squirrel called out to her and lifted himself from his knees into a stand, legs half-bent though, "We just found you!"

Reman Longtail sprawled out on the snowy ground, coughing up blood. Something was broken inside him, and he gave up trying to crawl anywhere. It was Erinna's voice that brought him back to his senses. "You can't- ugh!" he called out. "You can't just go with these people, Erinna! I thought... I thought I knew you guys!" The canine glared at the group that separated him from the alicorn before keeling over and coughing a few more times. He was too weak to even rise to his knees, and it looked like Nykita and the others weren't doing much better.

Kell Lystrong heard the Erinna start speaking but cared little for the exchange between the former crew, merely standing between the bleeding captain and the woman that was their goal. When the squirrel lifted himself off his knees, the lion spared him but a glance as if to watch and see if Nykita was going to dare and strike at him or get past him for some foolish reason.

Elijah Robin let out a muted giggle as both Nykita and Reman decided to call out to Erinna when it was obvious that she had apparently made up her mind, rolling his eyes as he skipped from foot to foot in the snow, "Of course you did! That is the whole point of a disguise!" Shaking his head towards the downed canine as if he was being thick-headed.

Orvellanos stood still with that sullen expression that he was so used to having, no longer having to keep up a smile towards the customers of the tavern, adjusting the weight of the huntress over his shoulder and watched as Erinna turned away, starting to turn with her as if acting like her escort now.

Erinna Silvermane took a few steps away, the hood back around her head to obscure her face from view, hearing Nykita and Reman calling out with questions that she had already answered, taking a slow breath and closing her eyes for a moment, a moment where no other word would break the silence, "..." And then her hood crunched down on more snow as she began to walk away.

Nykita Aymen's eyes grew wider as Erinna just... walked away? Both disbelief and confusion flashed across the features of his face before both of his ears folded back sharply, "No! We are not done talking about this!" He'd call out sharply and despite his wounds, lunged forward towards the woman, having the full intent of grabbing her shoulder and turning her to face him, eye-to-eye just like that time on the Harbinger. Ducking down, he'd dart right past the lion, apparently finding more importance in actually getting to Erinna than taking down Kell.

Reman Longtail could only watch as Nykita rose up and charged towards Erinna. "C... Captain!" he called out, fearing the worst. In desperation, he gathered the last of his strength to try and levitate a rock about the size of his head and hurl it at the group. Hopefully this would distract at least one of them long enough for Nykita to do whatever it was he was doing!

Kell Lystrong did not move from his spot as the wounded squirrel rushed past him, looking straight ahead while his tail did all of the movement - lashing out with the speed of a snake to coil itself around the neck of the squirrel and halt his rush forward with a hard tug, "...this is as far as you go." The lion spoke in a matter-of-factly tone of voice, whirling around with one leg extending expertly to catch the squirrel's mid-section with a kick to send him flying back.

Elijah Robin's form made a small cloud of snow as he hopped up into the air, body spinning around with a loud giggle, using his abilities to kick off the air again and again, sending himself into a spin before kicking out towards the incoming stone, the air itself seemingly rippling as it shot out in a crescent shape towards the projectile aimed at the other Dark Wings, shattering it into pieces with a violent crack before continuing down towards the fallen canine, snow exploding out violently as Reman would feel the great pressure coming down at him, pushing his body harder into the ground until there was actually a small crater around him!

Erinna Silvermane kept walking, the words being called out to her seemingly just going right past her but it was when she heard the squirrel being caught that she'd speak again in a lower voice, almost determined sounding now, "No, it is over. Goodbye..." She finally said, head lowering slightly before she'd continue out of the snow and into the cover of the trees, the shadows swallowing up her figure from view.

Nykita Aymen's paws were the first to reach up to his neck as the sudden stranglehold came over it, sharply cutting off his breath and halting his movement and tilting his figure back slightly but just as he was about to look over his shoulder in reflex, Erinna spoke and his attention shot back to her. Goodbye?! Bloodied droplots shot from his nose as he snorted out a defiant breath, angry that she was just... turning her back on them without an explanation that he considered to be satisfatory. This was -not- over! -CRACK!- The leg impacted his body, fully lifting him off the ground and his mouth opened but no breath came out, eyes still locked onto the figure of the alicorn as she faded from view and then it was the sky as he flew through the aim, breaking the branches of tree he slammed into before the full trunk stopped him, the inertia leaving him suspended for a moment before his limp before slid down into a slouching position.

Reman Longtail put all his might into the stone he'd hurled at the Dark Wings, but in the end it wasn't enough, as Elijah easily shattered this last stone, then came crashing down on the canine like a ton of bricks. Reman was pummeled into the ground, going through the snow and leaving a crater in the ground not far beneath. "Augh... no..." he groaned, barely even noticing as Nykita flew through the sky and landed somewhere behind him. He was seriously starting to worry that he wouldn't get out of this one alive. "Why?" he groaned. "Just... why? Why are you taking her?"

Kell Lystrong turned away even before the squirrel finished his flight, already two steps into his walk as he heard the impact against the tree, not interested in seeing the result just as long as he would not bother them again, "Let's go." The lion spoke.

Elijah Robin landed back to the ground with a light step, looking rather impressed that Reman was still talking, "Wow! You can take a few hits indeed!" Stepping over to the downed canine, fists at his hips and leaning over him, giving him nothing but his smiling boyish features to look at him, "We're not taking her, stuuuuupid~ She is leaving you, totally different thing! Jeez! Didn't you even listen to her?" Tsking loudly, the cheetah turned to walk briskly after Kell, almost skipping even to leave behind the beaten tiger, serval, canine and squirrel!
Act 2 - Chasing Resolve

The Harbinger has set off after the ship that sailed off carrying Erinna, Orra and the Dark Wings.
How long had it been since they started this infernal celebration? Sofey may have been raised about a noble household, and she might have seen her fair share of celebrations over the years, though nothing could have prepared her for an endless celebration of an up-and-coming year that dragged on for what seemed like an eternity. She felt like a caged beast, and she absolutely hated it. Part of her adoration for the Sea Goddess began in her youth, when she spent her time being as free and out of the reach of her controlling mother as she could. Sofey despised her mother, and thus despised most of the snooty noble class. One day, she stepped up to a Merchant Sea Captain, told him she should be hired as a 'Cabin Girl' about the ship, and that was all she wrote: Sofey was out into the world, eventually working up to own two of her own ships, and earning her title that she so revered: Captain Sofey Eristis, Vanguard of the Valkyrie, and First Mate of the Harbinger.

She missed the Sea; the feel of the salty kisses as they splashed on her face, the open air, the endless possibilities, and the ravaging of ports and fellow vessels when the moment had struck her. The brute missed the bar fights, the drunken brawls, the few evenings spent in a jail over arguments better settled through fist than philosophy. Since joining the Harbinger, she was no longer in command. Sofey was not the one to make all the final decisions. A part of her ached to just drop her position and leave the crew behind, though she stayed out of a stout and brewing adoration for the squirrel captain. How could she tell him she was falling for him? She couldn't, and probably never would, and his wife was certainly not making matters any easier for her; Nykita told Sofey that Dakota would have to come to her, and that Sofey couldn't just force it to happen, and that seemed like a pointless pursuit. Sofey had all but dropped her interest in joining them as some fun-seeking third wheel out of her utter frustration. Sofey didn't understand love. This powerhouse was raised in intolerance, not compassion, hard work, and not soft affection, admired pain and hurt more than frilly silks or fine touches, and never once felt truly appreciated by her mother, an issue she'd probably never come to terms with. It was her father that bred her darker sides, and she would always have a strong place for him.

Standing in the Infirmary, recovering from wounds received by men and women she'd bested in mortal combat just weeks prior, drunk as ever, the Serval just stared out the window, mostly silent. How had she been beaten? How was she not the strongest? When did the lies begin? How long had Erinna been leading them on? The Captain had stated that Erinna was part of the crew, and that he'd felt her to hold a strong place amongst the crew. Sofey had disagreed with Nykita from the moment he started spouting that, and they had quite literally fought about it on numerous occasions.

Sofey followed the Captain Aymen's cause, and she did, too, believe in freedom and not having people bound in chains. Sofey was certainly very anarchistic, though she did believe in some form of order. Mostly, it was sought through dominance.

Soon, those chains would be freed, relieving Sofey of the pain of being grounded in the Moonlight Sanctuary. They would be off soon and the serval would exact her revenge on people who had fooled her, on those who had bested her. Sofey intended to end Erinna, thinking her to be the source of lies and deception that led to her being embarrassed. The physical wounds would heal, of that the serval had no doubt. Though the wounds to her pride took more than just a gentle coaxing to recover. Sofey was going to pull a spine out of someone's ass, and that was likely to be Erinna.

Sofey spent much of her time just staring out at the front bow, waiting to see that ship that had sailed off ahead of them. A look was made down to that dagger she had received from Amena, knowing how much it meant to the Matriarch. A cut was made into her arm, forcing crimson onto the deck of the ship. A shudder of pain, a small tingle in her heart: Sofey missed her. She missed Frosty and Bisch. The Pirate Captain had made a promise to return to them, and she was starting to think it was a promise she might not be able to keep. Hopefully, they could forgive her. She wasn't playing nice anymore, and words were not a solution.
