Pink - Little to no aether used
Purple - Some aether involved
Blue - Primarily aether-based
Holograms
Pretty much what you think they are. Most of them are used as advertisements and deliverer of pre-recorded messages. Recording a hologram requires mo-cap equipment and displaying one requires a holo-projector.
Grav-lifts
Pseudo anti-gravity. It can only move and levitate appropriate objects and platforms built with that purpose in mind. In the early days there were grav-lifts that could actually transport people (think Halo) but it was deemed unsafe to use aether directly on people so the force must be applied to platforms instead.
Small house-hold grav-generators are available and can be used for display or house-hold tasks.
Maglock
Also known as the brand name MagLoc. These are very simple magnetic zippers that remain locked unless deactivated with a small chip that's usually embedded in the sleeve of the clothing item.
ChromaThread
Also called chroma, it's a fibre optic thread used in textiles to create reflective and colourful clothing and accessories. Often used in hair extensions as well.
Zero-Space
A near-infinite storage technology that uses a pocket dimension unique to the particular device to store items. The devices are popular in backpacks and purses.
Though teleportation and inter-dimensional rifting is now illegal some related tech still exists and in some cases is still being produced, particularly on the black market and the underground. Bootleg Zero-Space devices come with the liability of items being lost, sometimes re-appearing over time, and on the odd occasion appearing in someone else's Zero-Space.
