Neon Age

It was a very dark night, not stormy, and not dreary, it was exceptionally quiet however, an exceptionally boring night. However, it would not be boring for much longer for anyone else who would wander into the Junkyard on the edge of the town. Be it some adults looking to break some rules, or someone who worked there at the junkyard. For miles all one could see was junk, old tv's, radio's, even old cars! Far before any of the newer technology. Broken robots lay around as well, a majority of them were beyond repair, a few of them having any still working part picked clean by scavengers looking for parts for their own robots to make, many of them were missing their skin(!!), some their heads, as a few of the tossed models were broken down ones of the most popular variety, that had been made in the past few years. However, there remained one which had not been picked clean, hardly even touched. It lay, partially uncovered, beneath a heap of junk, only it's head, an old CRT styled monitor lay atop its shoulders, a little red led light blinking on and off, telling of it's hibernation mode. Would one be curious enough to flick its switch? And turn it on?
