Rooms in the dream are empty until rented and customizable to a certain point (that point being whatever patches I have in my files), and can be rented from the Crown by characters with enough money. Businesses in the buildings are also taxed 6% of their income on services and items sold.
The renting process is as follows:
You have to have an accepted application on the character you are renting the building with.
You need to fill out the form below and get an OOC stamp of approval.
If a business already exists as a stall in the Bazaar you are encouraged to utilize that as your shop front as opposed to a building.
If two applications are put in for the same building/business, precedence will be given to players who have both been a part of the community longer and contributed regularly to the public roleplay of the dream.
As of this FAQ writing we do not have a group package and currently there are 23 rent-able buildings, so private spaces are limited to one per player. Exceptions may be made at admin discretion.
After Approval:
Once you have your stamp of approval it can take a few days to a few weeks for the room to be changed to your specifications - depending on Dreamweaver availability and time.
If you need any changes made to your space, either message Xochilth on RPR or on Discord. Changes to a room can take a few days to a few weeks to be made.
Expectations:
ICly you are expected be active in the dream at least once a week for public RP, and should be contributing to the continuity of the dream regularly in some way.
If you need to take a break from Furcadia, please let the administration know.
