This is a forum RP game designed stretch those RP muscles, maybe step out of your comfort zone a little, and generally just be fun.
I'll be needing at least 4 people but no more than probably 7 or it would be too hectic.
Everyone will design a character, making a basic character sheet that includes appearance refs, stats, and a brief description. However, the catch is you're character will be played by someone else in the group, and you will also be given a random character made by someone else.
When I say character sheet, I mean something similar to the ones I make when I design new alts

You don't have to be as detailed with the pictures, but a general appearance, an outfit, and a weapon, if applicable would be a good, and useful. You don't have to do full D&D stats, just the basic name, height, weight, age and occupation, and so forth. Then, just add in at least a few lines about who they are.
Once everyone has designed their character sheet, we'll do rolls. Only then do you share your character sheet with whoever gets it. Once everyone has their character sheet, we'll start a forum topic just for the RP. Will probably use some random generators to decide on a generic location for where these characters meet, be it a tavern, a forest, a dungeon, or whatever. The posts will be turn based, just like group RPs on furc. I'd like for everyone involved to be able to post at least a couple times a day. If it's your turn for a certain stretch of time, like say 36-48 hours and you didn't post, we may skip you a round just to keep the story flowing, and so that one scene doesn't drag on for 4 months and people wind up bored with it.
I'd like for people to make 'serious' characters, in the sense that it's something you'd actually think was cool to see played. Don't just make something silly and pointless.
Also, I'd like for people to be free to do with these characters as they wish. If they wind up liking them after this, they should feel free to bring them to furc. Thus, don't make something from your own canon, your own original species or whatnot, if you aren't comfortable with someone else playing it.
And one more thing, you will need a spare character slot to play!
This first round will be general fantasy/medieval setting. If everyone enjoys the game and wants to do another, we might try a different style.

From a small kingdom hidden in a Fantasy Glade, attacked and burned to the ground, she is the sole survivor and just trying to make her way safely through life now. A bit aloof, she can seem uninterested at times, or outright cold, but hidden inside is a kind and pure heart.
I'll set up a forum thread for this soon, maybe tomorrow? Anyone have any prefs as far as post order? I'll do some random gen RPG stuff to help pick the setting/starting point
