Yveriidia

A small chapel has been constructed in the wilderness several miles outside of Yveridia's walls by former townsfolk, having since left civilization behind to follow in the footsteps of a prophet by the name of Isen Graymoore. The small cult seems relatively harmless, but several locals have approached the Briary with coin in hand to make sure that these people are truly as docile as they seem. Be careful with this one, brothers and sisters - cult leaders are notoriously charismatic and it is unlikely that he will part with information easily, nor will his delusional followers betray him in any way willingly.


Melanie is seeking our contractors once more. There is a small section of the forest beyond Yveridia's walls that seems to have been corrupted by some otherworldly force and the huntress needs our help. Beat back the spreading befoulment and destroy the source of this encroaching wickedness.


Duke Harold of Terris, in the county of Sormegar, is being contested by his young niece, Valerie, the Countess of Ambia, over the land rights between the two townships. The Duke refused to return the land in question to his niece after she produced evidence that the area was in fact within her claim, and he is now under threat of Ambia's military. Therefore, he wishes to recruit all willing Fighters from this guild and any other within a five day's ride to his own army in order to ensure victory over his kin.


Melanie, a huntress living in the woods just outside of Yveridia, is seeking the assistance of a single guild member (all she can afford) in helping her stomp out a nearby infestation of giant spiders. They have taken up residence in a small network of caves near her home and have started to become a daily inconvenience.


Daniel Brooks requires the aid of a spellcaster, preferably one whom is particularly skilled at dispelling barriers. His grandfather recently passed away and left Mr. Brooks a small trunk, however the trunk has no latches, handle, lock or keyhole. There is no discernible way to open it, and all previous attempts to smash the thing open have proven to be a waste of time.


A client, wishing to remain anonymous, seeks the removal of Ms. Emily Meadows, operator of the soap and candle stall in the slums. Payment for the contract has already been received and will be dispersed when Emily's pendant is shown to either Renton or Ulria as proof of her removal.


An Yveridian local by the name of Grant Miller has requested that the guild aid him in his search for his wife, Alexis Miller, by supplying him with one of our expert trackers. Grant can be found in the shantytown beyond the wall, and can give you additional details regarding his wife and her disappearance. Mr. Miller was unable to pay the entire sum required to activate this contract, but we decided to post it anyway just in case one of you more generous types are still willing to take on the job despite the docked reward.


An older human merchant by the name of Earnest Fahl is requesting no less than two Briary fighters to aid the border patrol of the county lines between Yveridia and Sheel. Word is that patrolmen have seen increased black market smuggling activity as of late and Earnest would like to see this activity lessened or thwarted entirely if possible. Fahl will await any and all available fighters at the border crossing. Those wishing to accept this contract should consider teaming up with a highly observant and alert ally, for they will be required to inspect goods and carts crossing the border as well as watching the treeline for signs of ambush.


Currently a mass of undead woodland animals has been causing havoc on the road between SilverSouls and Yveridia. A necromancer is naturally suspected to be working in the area. A noble based in Yveridia, wishing to remain unnamed, is in need of no less than two fighters, preferably beast slayers, to destroy as many of the resurrected creatures as possible. A bonus has been offered if the Necromancer responsible for this madness is also able to be located and killed (said noble has made it very clear he does NOT want this necromancer taken alive.) The contract has already been paid for and the bonus will be delivered if the body of the necromancer is brought back to Yveridia as proof of the deeds completion.


A young man by the name of Dart, son of Gavin, is currently stuck in Yveridia and seeks a single fighter, all he can afford at the moment, to lead him safely to the border between Yveridia and Sheel's lands, where his father will be awaiting him once word of this contract's acceptance has reached him. Dart can be reached at the flophouse, room 2, in the slums.


A youthful musteline using the alias 'Redmoon' is seeking two fighters to aid him in a trade deal to take place deep in the heart of the slums. The package being sold is of no concern to the guild, naturally. 'Redmoon' insists that there is no danger involved, he simply wishes to have reliable fighters at his side in case those purchasing his 'product' decide to take said delivery without paying for it. As a reminder, willing contractors are absolutely NOT to ask ANY questions regarding any goods being exchanged, purchased or otherwise procured while under contract. Payment for this contract is minimal, as the work required should take no more than half an hour at most and no threat is expected.
