As the title says, we're tweaking how character mechanics work, and, well, specifying the different traits a character uses.
To give you a quick look into what we're doing, here's how each trait of the character is determined;
Terra 2077 characters typically comprise the following traits:
Name: Obviously, this is the character's name. It can be anything from a birth name to a pseudonym. Some people are known by many names, while others aren't known by names at all.
Player: This is the name of the player portraying the character in question.
Age: How old the character is in years.
Birthdate: To discover the year that they were born, take the character's current Age and subtract it from the real world year, which right now is 2015, then add 62. (and yes, this actually works!~ Infact, you can do this with ANY date. I'm serious.)
Nature: The true personality of the character, who they are deep down.
Demeanor: This is the personality your character presents to the world. More often than not, Nature and Demeanor are different.
Organization: The organization, if any, that your character currently works for, or has worked for in the past.
Attributes: Attributes define your character's inborn aptitudes and potential.
Abilities: These are the proficiencies that your character possesses, either intuitively or learned.
Advantages: A catch-all term for the numerous other traits a character has. Backgrounds define the character's material assets and social network. Augmentations are modifications that allow the character certain abilities or bonuses that normal people don't often have. Perks are outstanding strengths or benefits that a character can have (if any perks are chosen at all), where as Flaws are a character's outstanding weaknesses or vices. Neither Perks nor Flaws are a required part of character creation, but they can increase the diversity of your character.
Humanity: Humanity defines your character's likeness to that of an ordinary human, versus a machine (with cybernetic augmentations) or a mutant (with genetic ones). More augmentations tend to mean less humanity.
Willpower: This Trait reflects your character's ability to utilize Augmentations, and it is not used for anything else.
Health: This Trait establishes any given level of damage that the character has taken.
Experience: Experience represents how much the character has learned over the course of the story. All characters begin the game with an Experience of zero.

By the way, don't make any changes yet on account of this. We're still working on it.
