We've come a long way in the...what has it been, almost two months, now? We've all been working hard, and it shows.
For those of you who haven't stopped into the actual dream component of our setting (please do!), here's some highlights! All of these shots are outdoors - why don't you swing by and see what it's like inside?
One of the first spaces designed, here's a wide shot from the editor of the bazaar! Thrumming with loads of people and just too many things to hope to see them all, this is just one of three entries you might randomly get when entering the dream.
Here we have my pooch-butt standing on the docks beside an enormous ship, on the beach - the second random entry! The docks are always bustling with activity, new goods being brought in and shipped out at every hour of the day! While some goods are gotten by good and proper means, you'd do best to watch out for who you might bump in to.
The easiest path from the beach is through the river gate, past beggars and a mini-market of fish sellers. Ware houses lie not far beyond, protected within city walls.
Those who choose to take the hard way up into the city from the beach are rewarded with quite the view!
Traveling through the forest - our third random entry - one might spy one of the city's many aqueducts, carrying in fresh water from the mountains.
Through the forest gate, visitors find themselves neck-deep in the city's many slums. Venture further within, and you won't see any other guards. Stick to the main road!
Not far from the slums, it seems I've found myself in the midst of the Adush - the 'incorruptible'. Traveling through this elven alienage, though gorgeous, is entirely uncomfortable. Are they judging me?!
A product of Adush labor is the city's many gorgeous parks, along with other lush landscaping. Well, they have to be good for something.
In stark opposition, a lost stranger - or perhaps someone of much less savory intent - might find themselves in a dirty alley, wondering where that undertone of copper is coming from.
Finally - last, for this post - is one of Trivantis' many well-loved Colosseums, with its sprawling markets full of delicious foods parked directly outside.
I hope you've enjoyed this post enough to come see it all for yourself!
Back to work!
