Hey, everyone! A big thanks to everyone who came out to party with us for our opening event, we learned a lot and can't wait to host this event again next year bigger and better.
A special thanks to our staff, who worked really hard to keep things running and introduce as many characters into the fray as possible despite tied up characters and long running scenes, and our artists for offering their skills towards our art raffle - you're the best! Finally, a shout out to Intellectual Music, a visitor who donated some event prizes! You're too generous.
We had so many goodies we actually weren't able to hand out all our prizes this time around, but that's okay! We're stockpiled for the next event.
A special note regarding roleplay: if you weren't able to finish a scene set during the event or still want to get in on the action, feel free to 'back up' and roleplay during the storm anyway! We strongly encourage people exploring what their characters are up to in their lives and completing scenes so they can be shared with others - settings that function in real time can make this seem like you might fall out of sync, but it's okay to do as long as you don't end up tangled in too many loose ends! We even have a thread started that wouldn't hurt seeing some roleplay, a perfect setting for characters who may have just tried to stay safe indoors during all the chaos.
ART CONTEST WINNERS
Heimdall wins a Colour Sketch from Goo and a flat-colour partial-body piece from Toreth!
Intellectual Music wins a 'Little Golden Book' portrait by Rigby and a painted monochrome portrait (bust) from Toreth!
NEW PATCHES
We've commissioned some unique patches for the dream! We have this absolutely fantastic wagon and cart set by the talented Rootwork ready to roll; look forward to seeing more unique patches added over time! I'm really excited to get some more culturally specific flavor items in the dream.

Many of these will not be appearing in the dream until our 32bit update due to their size and thus the need to work around them, as our dream is currently designed to be as small as possible.
