Because what's a homicide detective without a couple of homicides to take care of?
Sometime in the near future I'm thinking about organizing a long-running serial killer event. I'd like to do a lot of thorough investigative RP and some psychological thriller styled stuff. If anyone's seen the television adaptation of Hannibal, something like that! I'd love to get other members of the police department involved, so I'm just throwing out a fish hook here to see who's interested!
I'd be playing Adounai as the lead detective on the case, and my partner is going to be playing the serial killer -- though obviously we'd both like there to be a really solid build up before he's discovered ICly.
Anyone interested?

Message Eckart to be listed as a detective on the roster and ask him what he thinks.
Yeah! I've been in touch with Eckart and sent him my stuff. I was just posting here to see who all was interested.
I see. Im not sure how you are wanting to include the department as a whole. I mean it would fall under homicide and only one or two detectives would be looking into the case.
Officers would be called to scenes to secure and take initial reports.

There's coroner and forensic work, crime scene technicians, officers who are called to or report the cases, detective work, lab work, clerical work, maybe the occasional rogue officer who's going outside his jurisdiction because he feels compelled to help solve the case. I can think of a lot of ways to get people involved if they're interested! Seemed like the sort of thing that would involve most anyone in the department if it was a large scale, difficult to crack case.
And it doesn't even have to be restricted to people who work in the department! There's tons of ways other people outside of the precinct can be involved and I'm definitely going to make it an open invitation for anyone who wants to be a part of it. Just thought I'd see who in the precinct was interested first, since this seems the go-to for those interested in police work and casework and things like that.

Jo already has a lot of secret files hidden away that speak of a serial killer but was told to just make the cause of deaths as "natural" or "gator attack" things along that line. He doesn't know about supes and some of the victims could just be werewolf snacks but there may be a few dotted in from a good ole serial killer.
Any forensic evidence/victim pathology would be done by him. He's used to working long hours. If anyone else is interested in the forensic side, let me know! Jo could use an intern. Or four.

Or five.
Margo would probably organize files/video evidence/etc.
There is always a possibility of calling in the Feds (Hannibal worked with the FBI on serial killer cases)
If Adam and Jo are involved, you bet your sweet ass this blonde is gonna be snooping around. (:

Aww yisss
I'm glad to see so many people interested! I'll definitely try to keep the event fun for everyone.
We'll probably get it started in about a week or so, once all the details have been ironed out. I'd be happy to meet everyone ICly before then, though!
