| AF: | Let's back up a bit first, okay? I need to know a little about you to start. You said you were his brother, right? What's your name? And are you still living at home? |
| KM: | Kyuro Michi. That's K-u-r-o. Use to live at pop's place. We... all did. Now... I'm in Riverside. Pops pay for it. |
| AF: | And you said you saw your brother before his trip out of town? Did you make a habit of seeing him regularly, or was the meeting out of the ordinary? |
| KM: | Yea, he came over right before he left. He like comin' to check on me, I guess. Yeah. You think you know what happen to him? |
| AF: | See this? This is all I know about your brother right now. Now, the bigger this file gets, the better my chances get at figuring out what happened. That's why I have to ask you all of these uncomfortable questions, yeah? So that we have the tools we need to do right by your brother. So, can you tell me about his last visit to your apartment? Try to be as detailed as possible. What time was it, how was his mood, where was he going, did he mention anything strange or unsual? |
| KM: | Aww shiiit. I'unno the time or nothin'. I ain' keep track of tha' shit. He been bossy as shit. Tellin' me I ain' cleanin' or nothin' an' he gon' make me pay for maids. ... Lessee... He sayin' he gotta go on some trip cause pops be needin' his help with somethin'... Only thing is... I think it strange he leavin' his phone 'n all. |
| AF: | Can you elaborate on that? Where was he going, and what was he supposed to help your father with? Had he ever done anything like this with your father before? |
| KM: | Naw, I... I didn' ask. Well, now tha' you sayin' it... He did go on trips for pops before. Yeah. B'fore Christmas 'n all that he gone on one. He came back, though. |
| AF: | Where was he before Christmas? And you don't have any idea what he was doing on these trips? ... What is it that your father does for a living, Kyuro? |
| KM: | Met his boy Isa at Christmas. Maybe he know more. He done homework an' all that shit. He care way too much 'bout school, mang. Nah, I'unno what he do. Pops? Shiiyit. He tradin' I think? I'unno, he never at home. He got some deep pockets tho, mang. Deep motherfuckin' pockets. |
| AF: | You don't know what he does? He's never left any of his work around the house? You've never overhead a phone call or found anything in his office by mistake? You said you know he's trading, any idea what he's trading? Or did Hiro ever mention to you anything about what the trips entailed? |
| KM: | Nah nah, I know, I know! He workin' in... in... in finance, you know, yeah. Tradin'. That. Yeah. I don' poke around in it for shit cause it borin' as fuck, mang. ... He get real mad one time, so I don' mess with his stuff. |
| AF: | Kyuro, I need you to be honest with me here. Has your father every physically reprimanded you or your brother before? He has ever been abusive, especially regarding his privacy or his work? |
| KM: | ... honestly mang he usually don' care none. He never home. The one time he get mad, me and Hatch was playin' with one o' his art things on the wall. So I just don't touch his shit no more. Thassall it is, mang. |
| AF: | You're positive? Remember, anything you say here stays between us. What happened when he got mad? |
| KM: | Was a long time ago. We was stupid kids. Me and Hatch, well we like jabbin' at each other y'know, who got the bigger balls 'n all that. We know we wasn't s'pose to play with that shit. But it like the forbidden fruit y'know? So there we was, creepin' up to one of his masks on the wall, all sneaky like. We both lookin' at each other like we was waitin' to see who was gonna chicken out, y'know? Then Hatch touch it, beat me to it. But maaan, it was so fuckin' strange. He looks like he been touchin' a hot stove or some shit, mang. It was fuuucked. Pops come inafter that an' I ain't never him that mad before. I can't explain it man, but I just feel like shit. Just total shit. And Hatch too, and we both just wanna die. Tha's all I wanted right then, man. Just wanted to die. |

If you could let me know a number where I could reach Isador. Also, the names of any caretakers or nannies you and your brother had in your father's absence. And your father's number, too.
