AF: State your full name, please, your occupation and your relationship to Hiro Michi.

IG: Um. Isador Greene. I don't have a job right now. And uh, I am - uhm, was his boyfriend.

AF: When was the last time you spoke with Hiro?

IG: We talked before he went on his trip. That was forever ago, though. I think we talked a couple times while he was on it, but then he stopped responding so I figured he was busy or something. I try not to be an overbearing partner, you know? I dunno.

AF: Did he mention what the trip was going to entail? And how did he feel about it? Excited, hesitant, tense...?

IG: Not really, just that his father was wanting him to go to Arkansas for whatever reason. I dunno what. He didn't want to, I think. He seemed sort of anxious, didn't talk much about it...

AF: Do you know where he went in Arkansas? Did he happen to mention a certain city or even just a hotel? And, from your impression, how was his relationship with his father? I know he'd gone on these business trips before, so anything he may have said about them or what he was doing while he was gone.

IG: I dunno, he didn't say anything much. O...z...arts? Ozarts? Arks? Ozarks? I don't think he had a great relationship with his dad? At Christmas it was super fucking tense. Like... painfully tense. There was something about his brother being missing even though he wasn't, and he was... fuck, like... I dunno. I just don't think they were super buddy-buddy. Oh- oh, and before! He like... He went on a trip all of a sudden. When he came back, we had a fight. Hiro said his dad took him and took his phone away? I dunno. Maybe something's up. Have you talked to his dad yet? He might know what's going on.

AF: I've been waiting to hear from him. I haven't managed to get him into the precinct yet. Kyuro had mentioned that he was regularly out of town. We do know that he left his phone behind again this time, though. He didn't mention why his father made him leave it at home, did he? Or did he say anything about his father's business ever?

IG: No, just that he was a trader. Like, for art. But I called him out on it, and he said that I was right, that he made too much just to be a trader or some shit. I don't know what else he does. What job makes you make your son go on trips n' not talk to his fuckin'... friends or family for the duration? You'd think he'd want to be a little more involved with this case. Who the fuck keeps going on business in the wake of his son's murder? His fucking- his murder, man? What the fuck?

AF: It's an inopportune time for him to go missing, for sure. I have a lot of questions for him. Let's move away from Kazu. Did Hiro have any known enemies or strange confrontations recently? Was he involved in anything that could have been seen as controversial?

IG: No, not really... I mean, he could be sort of grumpy. The friend I'm living with now butt heads with him once over a dog, I think, but that's kind of normal. As far as I know, he wasn't involved in anything controversial. He kept his nose out of stuff for the most part, as far as I can remember. He was just a normal guy. A bit of a grump until you got to know him. He didn't have it in him to hurt anybody. I don't get why this happened...

AF: During the autopsy, we discovered an injection site on his abdomen and traces of potassium chloride and pancuronium bromide in his system. These drugs would require some manner of medical knowledge to be administered like this. Was there anyone in his school environment who may have had reason to attack him?

IG: I didn't know much about his school environment. He never let on that there'd been any issues with anyone from school. Were there signs of struggle...?

AF: No. It seems as though he was taken by surprise, and it was over quickly. It does imply, though, that whoever was responsible wasn't some random thug off the street. Did you see Hiro at all when he returned from Arkansas?

IG: He didn't even know? He was just doing whatever and suddenly he was dead? Gone, just like that? No... It's been weeks since I've seen him. Oh my god...

The recording cuts out abruptly.
