The back of the bus hosts the emergency exits and the rear seats. Next to the emergency exits are the bathrooms.

Everything went fuzzy. Alan finally regained most of his vision back to see he was at the back of the bus, which was now flipped on its side.
W-What the hell happened...? Did the bus...crash? he thought groggily.
Glancing around, he could see that his back was against the bashed-in emergency exit. He could tell with a glance that it was unusable, so he slowly got up with a grunt and proceeded to the middle of the bus to find Kirsten.
