The second floor of IKEA features all of the latest technology. It's all where the coffee makers are.
The elevator dinged an opened itself up to reveal the high-tech second floor of the large building. Most people stayed in the elevator, but Reyna climbed out and moved quickly but not out of sight for Logan. The brunette headed into the television area.
Logan quickly followed the lady, trying not to lose site of her. She had no idea why the 'secret sale' was on the second floor, but figured she would find out soon.
As Logan made her way to Reyna, a news report played.
"Still coming to you from the TMC, I have word that the police have already moved in and a whole squad has been killed by who knows what. TPD are at it's wits end as to who or what is the cause of this riot, and they've called in reinforcements from Mesa. Mesa has declined their help and now the Tucson Police Department has no choice but to clear off everybody near TMC and issue an official extermination. I'm talking about units armed with riot shields and rifles shooting anything and everything on sight."
It grew quiet for a moment. Then crowd screamed as the men spotted new prey and focused on them. The police began firing, but most of the troops were already dead. It didn't take long for the barbarians to gain the upper hand. Katie began continuing her story nonetheless through all the carnage.
"This just in! We've received a report that a bus crashed not to far from here! A couple of deaths and many are injured! The bus had been traveling to TMC and apparently caught sight of a crowd of people running on the street! Tucson has gone into complete pandemonium! Evacu-!"
Katie screamed as a two men with bats charged her and the cameraman. The report cut off abruptly and it switched back to Sherry.
"Thank you Katie, in other news..." Sherry's voice trailed off.
Yes, Reyna thought with a feeling of accomplishment surging through her veins. Just as planned.
A crowd of people crowded around and watched the broadcast along with the girls. They seemed shocked enough to the point where panic spread throughout the whole floor. Items were being snagged and a large clutter eventually formed.
"Come on, we need to get out if here!"
Reyna pointed to the elevator once more.
"Head to the elevator! I'll meet you there!"

Logan had been standing there in shock and fear as she watched the tv. She probably would've remained like that for quite a while if the lady hadn't yelled at her. After a minute or so she shook her head to clear it, before heading back to the elevator as told. She looked pretty calm now, but was trembling on the inside. The only thoughts in her mind right now, were about her scientist father.
Reyna disappeared to a secluded area of the floor, something difficult to find in a wave of panicking civilians, and pressed her finger against a tiny device in her ear.
"She saw the message," Reyna transmitted. "TPD is reacting as expected. The IKEA is going to be under attack any minute now. I'm awaiting further orders."
Extraction will be at the back of the store. You know what to do.
Reyna listened to her orders. "Yes sir," she responded before turning her attention to Logan. Reyna moved through the crowd and crammed herself into an already packed elevator. The elevator descended to the bottom floor and opened up, releasing a wave of poor victims onto their hungry and waiting predators. Blood and wails filled the room immediately.
