Start off with setting, who's there and a rough amount of time before our first hunt.
TK rushed around his house like a chicken with his head cut off. He was wearing a pair of shorts, a Hawaiian shirt and sandals, but despite his loose clothing, he was still sweaty. He ran into and out of the house numerous times, making sure everything was ready. He rushed past his wife, Mary, for the third time in just as many seconds it seemed.
"TK! Calm down! Everything is gonna be fine!" TK almost wanted to snap at her. 'No, not here, not in front of them.' He thought to himself. Ever since he can remember, he had an anger issue. He got pretty good at controlling it, that is, until the change. Ever since then, it has been harder and harder to maintain the beast. Violent video games helped, but only to a certain degree.
"I know, you're right, I just wanted to make sure everything is perfect. I haven't had any real friends in a long time." Mary walked over and hugged TK, letting him know that she was his friend, and that everything was indeed going to be ok. TK enjoyed the embrace for a few seconds.
'BEER' he remembered that he didn't pull any beer from the basement yet. With a swift action, he kisses Mary on the forehead and breaks free from her grasp and rushes down stairs.
No sooner then his foot touches the bottom of the stairs, he hears the doorbell.
"SHIT!" He yells.
"THEODORE KING OWENS!!!" Mary didn't like swearing now that Jasmine was old enough to repeat what they said.
"SHE'S NOT EVEN HERE!" He could feel her icy glare all the way into the basement. He turned on his heel, and went back upstairs to apologize, forgetting the beer.
Mary opens the door. "You must be Rose and Rory! Come in, come in." The tall brunette invites the twins into her and TK's suburban home.

"Thank you so much for the invitation! My brother and I are so glad to be here." Rose smiled and held out a bottle of white wine. "I wasn't sure what to bring, so I hope this is okay. I tried to go with something neutral." She looked around their home and glanced at Rory who was standing behind her and being uncharacteristically quiet. "Their home is lovely, isn't it?"
TK comes out of the basement, and sees his guests have arrived. 'Beer!'
"Crap! Beer!" He turns on his heel and heads back down the stairs.
"THEODORE KING!" Mary shouts.
"HI ROSE! HI RORY!" He shouts up from the basement.

"Oh yes, lovely" Rory said as he stepped through the doorway. He shot a glance to his sister letting her know that he thought the exact opposite. Which earned him a subtle jab in the side and a "BE NICE" stare from his sister.
The place was "lived in" at best, "homely" at worst. He expected this from the inner city people, but it came as a bit of a shock to find an associate lived like this. He made a mental note to just avoid any hot stock (or horse) tips TK might have in the future.
" And here is a nice cheese that pairs well with the wine" Rory smiled and handed over a small paper-wrapped and wax sealed Camembert wheel.

After a few moments, TK comes out of the basement holding a 24 case of Beer.
"Beer!" he exclaims triumphantly holding the case over his head. He stepped outside to place the beers into the cooler.
Mary turns and accepts the cheese. She smiles warmly until TK is out of earshot.
"So, you two have a lot in common with TK, right?" She asks in a hushed tone.

"TK and I met through Rose here. We're kind of like a bunch of mold, we've grown on each other" Rory smiles. “It is kind of convoluted how it all worked out, but I’m sure your husband has already told you that part. But one day TK was helping out Rose and we struck up a conversation. In the end though it turns out I’m a big Oriels fan and things went from there, turns out we have a lot of the same interests, and know a bunch of the same people – small world after all. “
"TK doesn't care about sports, nice try, though. I was talking more like a common weirdness." She smirks
Rory forces a loud laugh. There is nothing "common" about TK's weirdness and goes walking past Mary over to TK to help him put the beer on ice. He stares pointedly at TK.
Rose laughed as well, glancing at TK and Rory, wondering what she knew or thought she knew. "All right, I guess the secret's out. We're closet nerds." Rose spoke in a conspiratorial whisper, hoping it would project confidence. "Nowhere near your husband's level, of course, but we look up to him in that way. He's quite the genius." Rose hoped the flattery would throw her off enough to sidetrack her.
