Case #: 00023845
Jurisdiction: Federal Hill
Case Status: Ongoing
Number of confirmed victims: 11
Known Facts:
All victims so far appear to be male, ages vary and either homeless or known to be gang affiliated except for one early victim who was a computer programmer. The latter may have been a mistake on the part of our killer. Some victims are found 2-3 at a time except for the most recent case in the house. All subjects display lacerations and puncture wounds analogous to those of a very large canine type animal. One victim was found in the river cut up but "bite" marks to the next may indicate an associated murder.
Forensic Evidence:
Saliva and foreign blood samples result in inconclusive DNA. Hair particles found on some scenes resemble that of an unknown animal. Puncture wounds indicate the killer would have teeth approximately 2-4 inches long, or claws from 2-3 inches long but this varies from victim to victim.
Speculation:
The killer(s) are using devices to mimic the attacks of a large animal. Possible cult or group affiliation. Research into rival gangs has fallen flat but most affiliated victims are known to be part of the "Red Scorpions". A less likely possibility is the use of a trained animal for the murders but any leads have not had results.

Case #: 00023845-B
Jurisdiction: Federal Hill
Case Status: Ongoing
Number of confirmed victims: 19
Newest Crime Notes:
Our largest scene yet, which makes it clear that we are no longer looking at one suspect but possibly multiple. This is the first scene were it seems out killer used a firearm to murder one of the victims. The rest were murdered in the same way as all the others. Also, a chewed off arm was found on scene, later the body turned up at a parking garage across town.
DNA evidence from their victim came up negative in our system. The hair fibers seem to be from a blonde woman but we have little to no description beyond that. Clothing fibers were found as well, and we are hoping to get a match to a Jane Doe.
The basement also contained a curious piece of evidence, bullets made out of silver. This brings up many theories, none of which will be listed in this report.
