Not all too comfortable seeing other people's characters getting controlled. Exhaustion, thirst, hunger, sure, those are involuntary bodily reactions. But lines?
She was not here and I was simply moving her character upstairs. I have a schedule I'm trying to keep with and I simply had to make her OC reply. I didn't make her kill someone just simply reply. If she was able to reply I would let her, but I cannot let the RP be held back at the inability to get on of one person. I will not do it again, but I had to for the most part this time. If she doesn't come on or isn't able to I will simply let her OC sleep. Hinting at why I made them go to the Empire state building. I have only controlled one persons line. It was just once, but I cannot let a OC sit there dumbfounded at a question or as if she isn't there at all. I'm not describing their emotions just saying "Not really..." which is two words. I cannot help if someone can't get on, and I'm not saying be on 24/7 we can't all do that. Then when Tinsley and Tommy (my OCs) went inside and expected Tanya to follow then she had to I couldn't leave her there or randomly make her appear and disappear that's not the point of a RP Group and it takes the fun away. I'm sorry if this made you uncomfortable. I hope you understand my point of view and I apologized to the person for having to say the two words, but ultimately I had to. And I believe your talking about Tanya and not Tommy or Tinsley cause both are my OCs.
Yeah, Tanya. I don't think she was doing anything to slow the roleplay down, seeing as only you, me and three other people are posting. Her being one of them.
Actually she didn't reply for the RP until after her OC said not really, but I understand where you're coming from. Because after I came back she had not replied to the Gas station where they first were (and I waited) so I thought she merely wasn't here or online. I didn't mean to offend her or you just trying to keep the RP rolling I would be upset too if someone took my OC and described all of their emotions in that moment, but I didn't. I would never take someone's character away, but I will if the group they're in calls them keep the ball rolling and say "The three went...blah blah blah" you know? It was a question she couldn't nod or just shake her head to so I checked her OCs page then said "Not really..." in case her OC had a little bit of fighting skills. Though I understand what you mean like I said. I'm just trying my best to control 10+ people and reply asap so they don't have to wait. I have 5 OCs in this group and I am a Game Master/Moderator its me and MissHolmes trying to do it all and she is usually busy. So if I mess up or say something odd realize I'm really trying, but there are other people online as you said and I'm trying to tend to everyone at impeccable speed so they don't have to wait because I myself can relate in not wanting to wait. I promise when my friend started a group I thought it was easy. Its so much harder than you think and there are so many questions people ask and so many other RPs I also need to reply to. Not to mention your social life dies out with having a group like this since people complain if your gone for to long or your RP dies out all together. Its a hard thing to balance and I'm sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings, make anyone uncomfortable, or if I sound hostile or irritated. Its just difficult to balance life and this group
Calm down, I'm not guilt tripping you, I'm worried about my character because I definitely wouldn't like him being controlled in any way shape or form further than the control you already have over him. You decide whether he dies or lives basically and I gotta step on eggshells. Meaning some respect is due outside of that.
Just don't do it to my character is all I'm saying.

I am calm. If I was angry I would have exclamation points, capitalized words, or curse words in my paragraph I wrote . And the point of the group is you can and will live or die and We haven't given you drastic decisions you couldn't figure out on your own or from the information we've given you on all or any of the pages especially the "Our Invaders" page. I won't touch your character, but be aware your OC being inactive in situations where their suppose to reply or interact takes away from the other peoples fun for the RP. Just leave it where those of us who aren't going offline can still RP. I'm not trying to sound rude like I've said I'm just trying to make the RP fun for everyone. You can take this as you will...
Rather my OC be killed than controlled if I happen to inactive, man. It's more respectful.
Sidenote edit: Ignoring a character is an alternative to controlling it. Doesn't take the fun away from anybody but the absent player, it's a great option. I didn't demand that characters be waited on if they didn't reply (even though you wouldn't have been that inconvenienced by waiting), just that they're not controlled pls.

I have really nothing else to reply with I've stated my other reply.
Though you tell me what I suppose I do if another person's OC asks you a question and you've resided for the night? You said don't wait okay... then what do I do instead? Ignoring a OC doesn't always work so... another route perhaps?
And can you explain what you mean by respectful?

Explain the situation again? I didn't understand that sentence. I really can't fathom a situation where an OC is so valuable that he or she cannot be ignored.
Respectful in the sense that if one had to choose between keeping their character in a roleplay where their control of the character is undermined and having it removed, they'd, I assume, choose the latter. As would I.
I didn't start this conversation in the search for conflict. I was just worried. I'm still worried, which means the problem has not been resolved.

Two OCs are talking and one leaves is the situation and the other OC still here left it as a question for the on that left.
I don't understand the problem and how it isn't resolved since I said I wouldn't control your OC. So... I don't know what you want me to say... I said two words as another persons OC. I wouldn't do anymore than that and I won't do it again. If you give me a problem to solve I'll resolve it, but I feel this is already resolved since I've said I wouldn't. If you can't accept what I've said... I can't help you

No question is too important to wait on someone for. Problem solved. James Rook left my character Adam in the car they stole mid sentence basically. No big deal. Absolutely no reason to control his character.
I just got pissed off that you didn't just say sorry or that it was this just one time that you did it (which would have actually defused the situation in .5 seconds) but gave me all these reasons why you had to do it and also how stressful it is.

Okay.
If you resort back you'll see I apologized to you and apologized to her. I even said I wouldn't do it again previously make sure you read all I say in a post because that's respectful because I addressed and read all you had to say and this wouldn't have gotten as heated if you noticed I said such previously
"I will not do it again," I also said "I'm sorry if this made you uncomfortable." I said that at 10:02pm ...
So are you good? Because I think the whole situation is solved no?

Yeah those two lines would've been enough if they weren't surrounded by excuses.
But anyway, I understand we won't see eye to eye and relent so I don't get any angrier.

Wow I just read all this and I just wanted to say that I can see both sides of this, but I just wanted to say that because I'm not online a lot and I understand that the RP must be kept moving along that I'm okay with Marcat moving my character around if she needs to. Or ignoring him, just whatever needs to be done. I understand this is a massive rp, and if my character needs to be moved while I'm absent to keep things going then I'm okay with that.
Whatever you say. You're the boss. I would have rather us talk it out in a nicer way knowing this is my first group and all. I could have took your statements better, but you could have worded them nicer I feel, ultimately we were both in the wrong OOC and IC. That's not an excuse that's a fact. Thanks for understanding.
