Its calmer here unlike the Northern and Southern part of this river. Hey there is even a bridge! Sadly it leads to the Western outskirts of the wall... dang...
Casendra arrived with Shinoda at the river she parked and took the keys out of her car saying "We're here!" she hopped out of her car closing the door behind her walking to the bridge in the center of the river.

The Space ship was now right upon earth it was visible and larger than life. It had a metal dome like piece on the bottom of it and it slowly ejected and it fell toward the earth landing on top of New York as it landed the Earth shook slightly like a earthquake and a larger crash could be heard. The ship then locked the Dome into place with nuts and bolts half the size of California then suddenly fire spouted from the ship on the outside of the dome all that was left was tattered remains of buildings no humans. The ship landed on the Dome and the Aliens prepared to go onto earth. The dome became very hot almost 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
When they got to the river Shinoda got out of the car and followed Casendra to the bridge."Well this is nice." He commented as he leaned onto the wooden bridge rail and looked at the sparkling water below. Suddenly a massive shadow appeared from overhead,and when he looked up all he saw was a giant piece of metal coming down from the sky. "Watch out!" He yelled to warn Casendra,and without thinking he ran over to her and grabbed her by the arm, pulling her down into a crouching position. The dome hit the ground with a deafening boom and the ground shook like a massive earthquake,causing waves in the river to leap so high that they crashed over the bridge and soaked the two of them. He kept his eyes shut tight until all the noises and shaking stopped,and when he tentatively looked up he was horrified by what he saw. Everything was..gone. Burned to a crisp and ashes except for what was inside the dome. He looked over at Cas,his eyes wide with shock. "Are you okay?" he asked.
Casendra was shaking water covered her she was freezing she shivered saying "I-I'm fine..." She looked at Shinoda and said "Th-Thanks..." she shook her head as she felt a heat wave hit them she said "This heats helping with the cold..." she stood glancing around "Wha-What happened?!" she stared at the wall then looked up at the sky where the dome covered them.
He wished he could answer her question. He looked around and felt a lump in his throat form as panic started to rise him. He swallowed and took a deep shaky breath; he needed to stay calm so they could figure out whatever was going on. "I don't know." He replied as he got to his feet. "But,this is bad. We...we need to find supplies. Before there are none left." He knew that they weren't the only ones in this dome,and everyone would be fighting for whatever they could get.
"T-To Wal-Mart then?" she stared walking toward her car shakily still startled by the events that just surpassed.
Shinoda simply nodded and started following her to the car, his heartbeat still racing from the shock of what he had just witnessed. "Do you need me to drive?" He asked as he noticed how shaky she was.
Her eyes fully red now she said "N-No... I'm fine this just reminded me of... something..." she got into the car waiting on Shinoda closing the door behind her cranking it up.
Shinoda got in the car and closed the door. Seeing her eyes go red had unnerved him,but not as much as the previous events. He wondered what exactly she was talking about,but he decided to not ask. She didn't seem like she was in a mood to explain things.
Casendra and Shinoda drove off to Wal-Mart.
