In the Dome

Karen was sitting at a table alone reading manga. She was trying to stifle her laughs because it was really funny. "Dang it Kenji, your retorts are the best. Now if you could just end this harem and go out with Takao, this would be much better!"

Marina was already in the library, looking for a book to read. She felt bored, but she had nothing better to do. She chose a romance novel and sat down, adjusting her glasses and starting to read. Her brown, poofy hair was in a ponytail and she wore a black hoodie with jeans and sneakers.

She felt the ground shake and she looked up. "What was that?", she muttered. She put the book away and ran outside of the library, seeing the dome and the spaceship. "What in the world..?!"

Karen placed the manga back on the shelf and ran outside.

She screamed and tried to take cover.

(i said she ran outside of the library...)

As Erica enters the library, she was speechless as she saw rows upon rows of books on there bookcases. Of course this place was nothing compared to her own library back at Gyros, but hell this was pretty close. So in her excitement she begins to explore within the hall of knowledge

Erica was able to grab a large stack of books from various material like history, scinces, comics and manga. She sets them down on a reading table. She then goes into her satchel and pulls out an dendril made lantern. It looks like any old school lantern but the light was more of an orange glow than a white glow.

She sets it next to her as she begins reading her first set of books

For Erica sleeping was more of a privilege than a must and so throughout the night she continue to read. By the morning she already finished reading a couple books.

She took a break and read her messenger. Apparently from numerous Dendril scouts that the remaining humans have now just left with conclaves, the more bigger ones being at the Empire State Building. She was genuine surprise by the lack of humans at the library, in her opinion this is a good place to hunker down but no doubt the Field Marshal put a group of Dendrils on standby nearby to be called upon if something went wrong with Erica.

So Erica decides to walk around the library for a bit, so she can stretch and rest her eyes from reading.

She looked up at her and stood up, backing away. "U-uh..."

The leader of the Dendrils took a liking of the formatting of the library, something she'll take when heading back home for Gryos. She walks in the library occasionally taking a look outside.

Seeing outside was just complete chaos, rumble every where and some fires in different parts. A few survivors but without doelites and there masters the ones that seem to dominate well at least by the library where Dendrils as they look for new hosts or just killing in the most brutal of fashion as they appear from the rumble.

She just sighed as she sees a poor survivor get a chainsaw blade down his shoulder. Even though the outside has gone to hell, Erica thought "If this place has knowledge how about some other places?" Then an idea spring from her head in which she smirked. It was plan so cunning, even those damn cat like beings back on the ship would be impressed.

With her plan in her head she went on her communicator and sent her idea to the Field Marshal to be carried out. She needed a cart of some kind and have the Dendrils go look for anything the humans would use for weapons, from mere sticks to assualt rifles.

With her resources being gathered Erica returned back to her readings. One in praticular...a manga called "Tokyo Ghoul" in which she started to enjoy reading it.

She looks up from her read of Tokyo Ghoul and says "Who are you?" with a cold look on her face.
