Welcome to Overwatch Recall, a group dedicated to Blizzard's newest IP, Overwatch. With that new IP, Blizzard also introduces a rather fresh, new reality in which to explore and engage in for battle and just to admire the amount of detail and work that the developers have put into each map they have crafted. The lore of Overwatch is also lush with character development and how they interact with the prospect of Overwatch and other branches thereof.

As this group develops and grows in time, there will be new venues in which to interact with other users, and even venues in which to role play your personal Overwatch characters within.

In this section of the Home page, you will find the rules that you should do well to abide by. While we would like to keep this group being relaxed and warm for members to just enjoy the company of other members and share in the common interest of Overwatch, we also must stress these rules.

    General
    • Please be nice on the forums. If there is something or someone that you disagree with, please do not start pointing fingers or insulting other members. People are entitled to their opinions, and we do not all agree. Do your best to have a civil discussion about it instead.
      • If worst comes to worst, please utilise the 'report post' feature, or even message the admin or moderation team directly with a link to where there is discord.
    • Expanding upon the first rule, we will will not tolerate any form of racial, sexual, and gender slurs and insults. Any use of slurs and insults with known intent will be met with removal from the group.
    • Please do not post not safe for work (NSFW) material on the forums. While this group is aimed toward a generally older audience, there are still younger folks that would also like to engage in the enjoyment of Overwatch and finding others that are also interested.
    • Do your best to post accordingly! This means you should do your best to find the forum where your topic seems most relevant. Though not a major offence, it is a little chore for the moderation team to have to move threads. :)
    • In general, just please be nice. If someone does or says something that seems offensive or is insulting, please report it rather than combat it.

    RP Rules
    • First and foremost, we have to apologise for being party poopers; we have to put our foot down on having no canon characters in canonical role play on the forums. There are a lot of factors as to why, though the main reason is that there can be multiple people that choose to portray the same canon characters, and at current, Tracer would be the only character with a viable way of having that be the case.
      • Canon characters may be present in the canonical threads, though they will likely only be posted by moderators and used for any story driven role play that this group decides to implement. For now, since the group is small, there are no plans for story-heavy or plot-centric role play ran by the moderation team.
      • If you do still wish to play canon characters, just please know that you can play them with other people if you so choose! Just that, for any canon events of the group, canon characters will be used by mods. If you would like to apply to be a mod in order to participate in group canonical events, please shoot FreeJayFly a PM!
        • If your sole interest is to be a mod just to be a canon character for group canonical events, please reconsider this. It is expected that group moderators pitch in to help keep this group alive and thriving.
    • No god-mode/god-modding; this is a general rule that is covered by RPR's official rules. No one likes it when you role play the strongest or best character. Characters should have weaknesses and flaws. Look at it this way: every character in Overwatch has their counter! Yours should, too.
    • No sexual RP in the public forums. Just like the general NSFW rule, this is something that we cannot have on the public forums. If you would like to RP sexual related content, please take that to RPR's private messaging system, or an outside system, like Skype or Google Docs.
    • Please do your best not to blur the lines between in-character (IC) interaction and out of character (OOC) interaction. Just because someone happens to play a character that does not agree with yours does not mean that the person playing that character feels the same about you as a person. Please play nice with one another.
