As a general overview, Volskaya Industries is a Russian company involved in Svyatogor production. Katya Volskaya is its CEO.
Volskya Industries had originally been taken over by omnics during the Omnic Crisis in order to mass produce their robotic soldiers to use in the war. This was one of the main, hard fought battles fought by Overwatch in order to stop the ongoing flow of new omnic war machines.
In more recent times, in light of increased aggression from the Siberian omnium, the company increased production.
A long time after it stopped producing omnic soldiers the factory suddenly sprung back to life, producing the omnic war machines once again. Overwatch was assigned to regain control of the factory.
