Oop: I really need to work on naming rp's :I

It was late at night in Salt Lake City. Catalyst was attempting to traverse the low rooftops of the buildings in the city, key word being attempting. He wasn't particularly athletic normally. Throw on some light armoring, his cannon gauntlets, and a large tank full of goop and the already unathletic Catalyst was nearly falling to the ground every time he made a jump.

"Oooh man..." Catalyst said, placing his hands on his knees as he caught his breath. "I really need to hit the gym once this is all over...." He grumbled. He glanced to the ground, before grinning. He'd finally found a GCA, George Carlin Armaments, storage building. Like most, the place was heavily guarded, but Catalyst was sure he could sneak by the guards. "Ok... gotta find an entry point...." Catalyst said to himself as he clambered down to the ground.
All that she had was a backpack to her person and a questionable device that hung from her hip as she walked along the city's roads. The flight from San Francisco to Salt Lake City was luckily a quick one, and while she would have liked to have time to check in at a hotel or something of the sort, the sooner she could scope out something, the better.

Pulling out her phone from her pocket, the black-haired woman quickly called a number and continued her walk. She feigned a sense of carefree veneer as she appeared to have been dropped into voicemail.

"Ah... looks like you're busy right now. It's Artie, but I suppose you'd know that by looking at who left the message! Listen, I got to Salt Lake City pretty alright -- that hour and a half flight was kind of boring, but... you know how it goes! Listen, I'm safe and sound, and I'm looking into getting those errands you and Victoria wanted me run done. I'll call you back when I have the chance. Text me when you're available. Can't promise I will be, though. Might get distracted being in a new place an all. Anyways, talk to you later, Vince!"

With that voicemail message left, Artie pocketed the device after silencing it, adjusted her backpack, and continued on her way. Whistling to herself, she continued where she needed, taking into account the visual markers that she had gone over prior. If she had others that she could have run with for a proper Underwatch scouting trip, it would have been easy enough... but doing things solo? It needed a sense of care and consideration.

GCA... GCA... it should have been close.

Slipping into the protection of an alley way, Artemis switched settings on her prosthetic, soon jumping between both walls to make her way up to the rooftops in the alley to get a higher perspective on what she needed to be doing. Adjusting her hat once on the roof, Artemis frowned and looked about. Squinting off and spotting what looked like a driveway that led into a storage centre, Artemis dropped back to the ground, her prosthetic slowing her descent as she held her hand against the wall.

Going toward the direction of where she saw the storage building and driveway, Artemis started making her way over. That was where it must have been.
Jerry scurried along the city on his hover-bike, the only means of transportation anyone ever really needed to get through even the most difficult of cities, his dark dome helmet wrapped around his entire face. With it he could hop over obstacles and blast through between stopped traffic, making better time than any larger auto on the road.

Once he cleared the greater towers, his real target was finally in sight.

"I see it, professor," said Jerry. "I should arrive in about fifty-two seconds now."

"You will need to find a way inside," answered his support on the comm link. "Your USF can break through just about any lock you'll be presented with, hopefully without triggering any alarms too quickly. The only difficult part will be getting past the wall outside. There appear to be armed guards and surveillance all over."

"No worries," said Jerry, pressing a button on his bike. He then stood up on his seat and jumped off from behind, safely rolling to a stop on his his side as a hologram of himself appeared in his place. It blasted through the front gate, getting the attention of both Omnic watchmen in front, and both of them drew their weapons and chased after it. Then it was only a matter of Jerry sprinting past their old posts, discarding his helment, and pulling out his special flute, the USF. He ran up to the main entrance before Cabbage stopped him.

"Wait! What are you doing!?" he cried. "Find once of the side entrances, you ninni! The front will be the most heavily guarded!"

"Oh, right. My bad."

From there, Jerry began running to the side of the building, his flute still in hand.
Catalyst was at the side of the building by now. He'd managed to get over the fence with some difficulty, but crawled over it regardless. He went to a door and tried to open it, only to find it locked. "Ok. That doors out." Catalyst said to himself.

He heard what sounded like a garage door opening. He peeked around the corner seeing a semi truck pulling out of a garage. "Welp. Found my way inside." Catalyst said. He thought. Simply walking in was out. Thanks to the side mirrors on the truck he couldn't sneak in. Atleast, not by going in on the ground.

Catalyst face palmed. "Duh. Sticky goop." He grumbled. He glanced about, before finding a few crates. He stacked them up onto each other and managed to climb up to the roof. He went over to where the garage opening was, thankfully in a blind spot to the truck. He sat down, spurting some of the goo onto the soles of his shoes, and his hands, before he began to scale down into the garage doorway, scaling up to the ceiling in the garage. Thankfully, the only people in the garage, a few workers, were distracted with the work and didn't notice Catalyst.

Oop: Sorry for the wait.
"The hell?" Artie said, pausing as she heard what sounded like an explosion as she got closer and closer to her intended location. She picked up the pace, stopping to immediately take cover behind a building wall as she heard hurried footsteps of people responding to the noise that she had just heard as well.

"What was that!? We have to check it out!"

"Sounds like trouble, get a move on!"

As soon as Artie saw the patrol rush past without giving a second glance to her location, she slipped out of her hiding spot. There was that adrenaline that coursed through her, sure, but it seemed like things were working out in her favour if it seemed like distractions were being put into place that would benefit her.

Hurrying toward the fence, Artemis climbed the barrier, using her prosthetic to push down the barbed wire before hopping over into the vicinity. Keeping low, she withdrew her hard light brush and started skulking about, using crates and other items that had yet to be taken care of as cover.
Jerry blew into the UBF and focused the sound from it into a beam, indicated with a light indicator showing where it would be thrown. The door handle fell apart, and Jerry quickly rushed inside.

"I'm in," said Jerry. "Where do I want to go?"

"Take a right, and go past the next three hallways," Cabbage answered. "Take the fourth hallway on your right, and that should take you to what we're looking for."

"Righty,"said Jerry. He ran out from the entrance and took that first right. He moved as quickly as he could and pulled down his headphones over his ears. He'd need them the moment guards showed up to try and stop him.
Catalyst walked quietly through the building, once he was able to sneak in from the garage. He kept his arm cannons ready as he walked. He continued through the facility before finding a computer room and going inside. He looked through the computers for any relevant information not about making weapons.
Meanwhile, on the outside, Artemis was doing her best to keep low and dodge any personnel that was running to see what the disturbance was. Of course, here, Artemis was counting her blessings. The disturbance being where she definitely chose not to do an entry was more than fortunate. However... that meant that security would tighten, and there would be concerns about searching for those that are not supposed to be on premises.

Taking in a breath and closing her eyes, Artemis calmed herself from the latter frame of mind. Taking her hard light brush and turning on her activation bracelet, she kept to cover till she could find a window to inside the storage house. Once that window was found, Artemis used the wide setting on her brush and created a slope of hard light before running forward and leaping from it to cling onto the wall of the building with her prosthetic.

Looking back to the bridge, Artemis quickly clicked a switch on her HLB and watched the blue structure phase out of existence before she turned her attention back to the window. Reaching up. Artemis pushed inward to see if that was how the window worked....

A bit more pressure, and....

The window popped open upon its frame with some noise. Feeling her stomach dip, Artemis looked around again before pulling herself up and slipping into the building, allowing the window to slowly fall back into place as if she had never tampered with it in the first place... at least at first glance.

Dropping to the floor, Artemis realised that this was where the 'fun' would begin. She needed to act quickly. Get the information the GGD needed, and then get out to discuss the plan further with everyone back in San Francisco.

With luck... Artie could do this without raising further alarms... with even more luck, the staff on the premises could find the trespasser, and the alertness would hopefully decline.
"Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap!" muttered Jerry, now being pursued by no fewer than five different guards by this point, loud alarms blaring from all directions. "I seriously don't wanna hurt you guys!"

Jerry quickly ducked behind a door as pulse munitions flooded what had been his previous path.

"Jerry! You'll have to fight back!" said Cabbage in his hear. "Your flute has lethality settings, remember!"

Before Jerry could answer, the men and Omnic chasing him pursuing turned the corner and pointed their guns at him. They were all met with a high-pitched blast from Jerry's flute. They all pulled their weapons from him to cover their ears, save for the Omnic, who simply shook and collapsed. The other guards soon did the same, and Jerry jumped up and ran some more, only to narrowly avoid a pulse bullet, quickly followed by other bullets.

"I'm pinned!" Jerry whimpered into his comm. "I can't repel anyone from here!"

"Use the focus setting!" said Cabbage.

He didn't want to, but he switched the setting on his USF, then poked his head out from the corner. With a strong breath, he sent out a powerful blast of concentrated sound after his attackers. The attack stunned them for a second, and he took that moment to dart back into the hall. He was very clearly getting a proper workout from this mission.
Catalyst looked through the computers, before the alarms started blaring. "Ah man...." He grumbled. He quickly continued his search through the computers. "Hey! What are you doing in here?!" Shouted a guard. Catalyst had left the door open. "Uh.... I'm... the computer guy. I was told there was a bug in the system. Trying to fix it." Catalyst lied. The guard reached for his side arm, before Catalyst shot a glob of goo at the guard. It hit the guard with enough force to throw him into the wall and knock him out. "Sorry about that pal." Catalyst said, before turning back to the computers.

"The Colossus Project?" Catalyst asked himself as he brought up some files. He looked the files, finding schematics for several weapons, primarily some kind of rocket fist and a gatling gun. "I think I might've found something!" Catalyst declared. He pulled a flash drive from his pocket and plugged it into the computer. He copied over every file that mentioned this Colossus project. Once he was done he pulled out the flash drive and left the computer room, heading down the hall. "Please don't be too late to sneak back out." Catalyst said to himself.
Artemis, on the other hand, had been documenting some of the crates that were in the storage house. There were plenty of them, and plenty of big ones that had her all kinds of concerned on the inside. Pulling out her phone, Artemis started taking some snapshots of the interior to get sent to Vince -- her contact.

It was once there was a shrill, alarm-like sound that rang through the area that the artist stopped and sunk down again.

"And what do we have here? You lost, little boy?" A voice spoke behind Artemis, effectively spooking her as she looked up with her activated HLB at the ready. Furrowing her brow, she hesitated to speak before the enforcement lunged for her in order to take her into custody.

Pivoting on her heel and quickly reaching back to take a round device and slap it onto the back of the presumed employee, Artemis clicked a button as the device stuck and started took a moment. With a bit of that cocky smirk upon her face as she knew what was about to happen, she spoke, "sorry to burst your bubble, sir! This 'little boy' is actually happens to be a girl. But I wouldn't worry too much about splitting hairs over hes, shes, and beyond. You got bigger things to worry about."

"Yeah, like what?"

The device started to beep rapidly.

"Like if someone is close enough to help you," Artemis stated. That was when the device exploded with a kind of gross 'glooping' noise as purple and green slime spread out over the shelves, floor, and most importantly, the guard.

"What the hell is this!?" The guard seemed at a loss as he stood relatively well cemented to where he was standing. He tried to reach for his gun, but the extremely sticky concoction seemed to prevent him from being able to do so.

"I'll let you come up with your own name, bucko! And if you start to itch you might want to visit a doctor!" Artemis said with a bit of a chuckle, already starting her way away from the stuck guard and running toward something else that could have provided more cover as she attempted to figure out what to do. The worst part now was that her face was seen.

Great... just great.
"Come on! Come on!" Jerry muttered as he ran. "He said past those hallways and take a left here!"

It was at that moment that he turned a corner, stepped in some weird goo, then slid into some poor, unsuspecting man trying to download stuff from a computer.

"Ouch," he moaned. He then jumped up from his place and backed away. "You a guard!? You--you don't look like one. You look--"

Guards then poured in from the hallway, and Jerry flipped over a table to use as cover.

"Please tell me you can fight!" he begged, readying his flute. "I can cover you! Don't ask questions!"

He turned the settings on his flute to the lower settings, and once he started to play, Catalyst would feel a strange energy flowing through him and his weapons, as if he was growing stronger somehow.
Just as Catalyst was about to turn a corner, some shot through, slipping on some goo that must've dripped from his cannons, before slamming into him. The tow fell to the ground, before some guards came down the hall.

The person who slammed into him flipped a table that was in the hall for cover, before asking if he could fight. Catalyst blinked. "Uh... Yeah. What are you doing in here?" Catalyst asked. He peeked over the table, ducking in time to avoid some shots fired. Catalyst peaked out again, aiming his arm cannon, before firing several glops of goo.
There were more sounds that were going around elsewhere in the building that alarmed Artemis. It seemed that whoever actually did end up alerting the compound had already been sticking their fingers into a lot of pies, as it were.

"Almost seems as if I only have time to get and split..." Artemis muttered under her breath, cursing somewhat at the circumstances.

"There's one of the intruders!" Another voice sounded out, and Artemis looked up.

"Aw hell..." the Filipino had more than enough time to decide to start running again. She booked it down the hall, turning on a setting on her brush and running the brush tip down along the ground to have a glowing blue substance trail on the ground after her.

Once Artemis heard the squeaking of rubber against the slicked laminated flooring as well as shouts and curses from her pursuers, that cocky smirk found itself back upon Artemis' lips. Turning sharply as the hall came to an end, Artemis continued her bolt toward some form of exit from the compound. The oil discharge from the HLB was sure to slow any capture of her, which bought more time on this impromptu string of planning.

Soon, Artemis found herself at a more... interesting juncture. As soon as she had turned a corner, there was someone that had been hurling past her with what looked like globs of goopy paint. Pausing for a moment, the artist found herself a little at a loss before another glob came hurdling her way.

"Hey, yo, whoa--!" Artemis exclaimed, switching the setting on her brush before erecting a wall of hard light in front of her to shield herself from the goo that was fired. The wall was struck three more times before Artemis saw the hard light structure wane and phase away, the goop falling inches away from her feet.

Again, this was awkward. Artemis' exclamation caused some attention to be focused on her. She smiled sheepishly to those she saw before reaching back and pulling out a few more of those round devices.

"Ah... kumusta ka na?" Artemis greeted, passing a glance behind her before looking forward and running again. "Sorry fellas, gotta jet!"

Throwing the devices behind her as she jumped over the knocked over table, Artemis waited for the devices to beep and explode before she took note of the two that were hunkered down behind the overturned piece of furniture. For a moment, she was at a loss before she grinned that grin of hers.

"Well... a hundred bucks says that one of you were responsible for that explosion in the front and now everyone being on edge!" Artemis said, sparing little time for introductions as she continued on her way. She was going to find an exit rather than waste time with guards and other members of the compound trying to put her into custody, or worse.
"Um, that was me," said Jerry. "Sorry about that. Do either of you know anything about the Colossus Project?"

The table began to break under the pulse fire from the guards.

"Eep! Never mind! That can wait!" Jerry turned a nob on his flute. "Get ready to fight like you've never fought before! Don't hold back and we're going to get through this. Rock Opera engage!"

He blasted several different tones from his flute at once, filling the air with all kinds of invigorating sounds that seemed to fill Catalyst and Artemis with more energy than they were probably accustomed to. Even their weapons would read as if they had been supercharged. If they were going to get to an exit, this was their chance.

((He's going Ult! Go! Go! GO!!))
Catalyst glanced over the table, seeing several more guards arrived. He knelt down and grabbed the barrel on his cannon. He twisted, before aiming up. He fired a massive blob of goop. It flew through the air before it hit the ground and exploded, sending globs of goo everywhere. The globs hit the guards, knocking some out, and pinning some to the walls. Almost all dropped their guns, and those that didn't were unable to use them.

"Come on!" Catalyst said, getting up and vaulting over what was left of the table. "I came in through this way." Catalyst added, indicating the path he was taking before.
Artemis had been about to reply to Jerry before it seemed like they were being cracked down upon by the others. Just before Artemis was about to split, it seemed that there was music flowing through the air that was offering some kind of boost within. Whether it was cos of the beat, or whatever, it was something that Artemis appreciated.

Getting up with her HLB in hand, Artemis swiped the brush across several times as she turned on the Badger Brush settings. Streaks of blue, hard light cut through the hallway in broad strokes, creating more of a series of barriers that seemed to inflict a kind of pain to those it hit while traversing down the hall.

With no further objections to what Catalyst had said, Artemis deactivated her brush for now, taking the last of her dome-shaped bombs and throwing them at either side of her onto the walls as she followed suit to get out of the building. The bombs flashed for now and would continue to do so before eventually beeping rapidly and exploding, covering that portion of the hall in a thick, sticky, and rubbery paint that would need special care in getting rid of.

Simply keeping Catalyst within sight, there was only a brief moment where Artemis looked behind her in order to both see if her bombs did what she wanted them to and to see if that other person that she had crossed paths with was also following along so that they could get out of this place.
“That was freaking weird!” Jerry cried out. What were the odds that both people he randomly met on what was supposed to be a secret mission would both wield goop?

Not important. What was important was that they were all outside now, and Jerry hit a button on his wristwatch. Soon, his hover bike (which had NOT exploded at any point) turned a corner and stopped in front of Jerry.

“Pile on!” he shouted, taking the driver’s position on what was built to be a one-man vehicle.
"Can that thing carry all of us?" Catalyst asked, looking at the hover bike. "Heck would it even be able to? Don't these things have a maximum weight or something?" Catalyst asked. "Never mind." Catalyst said, upon hearing the sound of the guards approaching.

"Lady's first." Catalyst said as he thought. His default goo was sticky, but only his default. He squirted some goo on his hands, before adjusting the combination of goo in his tank, before squirting some fowl smelling goo to the soles of his boots. Once Artemis would hop onto the hover bike, Catalyst would stick his hands to the back of it, and desperately hope his gaseous slime was slick enough to allow him to 'skate' on the road.
