Having come under attack by Gwishin omincs, MEKA was called into action and defeated them successfully. However, this came at the cost of parts of the city and all of their mechs sans the only one that was piloted by none other than Hana Song -- or as much of the world knows her as: D.Va.
The Gwinshin omnics brought in another attack a week later, interrupting the usual gap between time being a month or so. During this time, D.Va was the only one to defend Busan, though she came out victorious.
