Tupu is a master hunter and does make traps, some big enough to snare a furre currently living off of the land. He has gone mad with age or sickness of the mind and is dangerous. Hunters near the northern part of Moe Laiti have been attacked with survivors describing Vaomatua, 'striking like the wind,' or falling into his traps. His track and spoor are very difficult to find, and his den location is unknown. There is no dishonor in not being ready for such a fight.
