Gender: Female
Race: Goddess of Light, though she's generally referred to as the Spirit of Light
Role: She is the source of all goodness throughout the world, she fights to keep an evil aura from invading Majoria.
Alignment: Good in every sense of the word, not a shred of darkness exists within her.
Age: She's as old as time itself, if not even older.
Body Type: Small, petite, child-like.
Eyes: Snow white with golden irises. In certain angles, it looks like it sparkles under a rainbow of color.
Hair: Snow white, reaches her waist. In certain angles, it looks like it sparkles under a rainbow of color.
Height: 4'9"
Weight: 99lbs
Complexion: Pale, though in certain angles, she seemingly sparkles a variety of colors.

An innocent child like being that can generally be seen wearing a long, snow white dress that reaches down to her ankle, the dress sparkles in a variety of colors when the light hits her. Her eyes are white as snow, but like her dress, they sparkle a rainbow of colors and hold absolute innocence. She wears a small baton on her back that she'll use to aid in combat. Her skin is rather pale, giving her a ghostly impression, however it also sparkles in a rainbow of colors. Much like everything else, her snow white hair glitters under the sun. She has a small, petite body that gives her the appearance of a seven year old. She has a pair of sandals, but generally walks around barefoot. Her footsteps are silent and unless one has extremely strong senses, they won't even realize that she's there.

Much like her appearance, Axelia exudes innocence and goodness, these traits essentially pour out from her body. Not a single trace of evil can be seen in her soul, dark thoughts do not exist within her. She harbors a deep, unending kindness towards all living creatures within Majoria, whether these creatures are beautiful and loving or grotesque and hateful, she does not discriminate who she gives her love and affection towards, though this often gets her in trouble. She can be rather playful, especially around those she feels a connection with. While she isn't known to take a romantic interest in the people she interacts with, she's developed sibling bonds, often looking up to people as if they were older siblings. She can be fairly timid at times, especially after battle.

Due to her godlike state, Axelia has numerous, powerful abilities she can take advantage of. In comparison to Kirai, she is far faster and has far better agility. Her strength is scarily high for being so small, she is capable of delivering hard hits quickly while being able to retreat easily, however her stamina and defense are below average. Her attacks do far more damage towards those with evil hearts. She heals considerably faster than the average person, a broken bone for her will heal in just a day. However, her energy is limited and if she reaches a low point, she will go into a hibernation state.

Beam of Light
With a quick thrust of her arm, she is capable of shooting a powerful beam of light that can cause massive damage towards anyone that gets hit, it does extra damage towards those who have evil intentions. It's a quick and easy technique that she relies on for fast damage, it is easily deflected by reflective surfaces.

Shimmering Boomerang
A strange technique, really. Using the special baton, she tosses it towards her opponent like a boomerang. The attack has an unpredictable path and deals a fair bit of damage, however if the opponent manages to deflect her baton, she'll be without it until she is capable of recovering it.

Silent Light
Silently and quickly, Axelia delivers several blows with her baton. Each attack increases in severity with each successful hit. However, more energy is sapped for each consecutive blow.

Soul Absorption
A technique she rarely relies on, with a flick of her baton, she is capable of absorbing the souls of those around her. She generally takes in the souls of the recently deceased so she won't have to ruin the lives of the living, but when she is desperate, she will take the souls of those with a black heart. She can only use this once every thousand years, so she uses it only when necessary. The souls absorbed restore energy, the more she absorbs, the more energy is restored.

Darkness Destroyer
Axelia goes into a prayer like state that leaves her extremely vulnerable, but all evil within a ten mile radius of her is cleansed. She can only use this technique once every century.

Regeneration
She is capable of healing any wound within a blink of the eye. However, the more severe an injury, the more energy will be sapped from her.

Restoration
She can use her own magic to heal the wounds of other people within the blink of an eye. However, the more severe an injury, the more energy will be sapped from her.

Kirai, the Spirit of Darkness

Gender: Male
Race: The God of Hatred, though he's generally referred to as the Spirit of Darkness
Role: He is the source of all hatred within Majoria, he spreads darkness with every step. He actively fights against a peaceful light that is spreading throughout Majoria.
Alignment: Pure evil in every sense of the word. He makes Hitler look like a saint.
Age: He's as old as time itself.
Body Type: Bulky, towering
Height: 7'5"
Weight: 375lbs
Hair: Long, jet black. Often braided and pulled into a ponytail.
Eyes: Piercing, jet black, they appear focused and cold.
Complexion: Rather pale, though he is surrounded by a dark area.
Nicknames: The Dark Spirit, the Hateful God, the End, the Despicable

A tall, bulky figure that dwarfs even the biggest of football players and has the strength to back it up. He often wears a long, black cloak over a dark grey shirt and pants along with black sandals. A scythe rests upon his back, the weapon is nearly as tall as the dark spirit himself, the blade is nearly as long as his arm and sharp enough to slice through human flesh as if it were a hot knife through cold butter. He has dark, black hair that reaches just below the center of his back and he often wears it into a braided ponytail. His body has numerous scars from many of his past battles, his eyes are piercing, cold, and a pitch black color. However, at times they appear to flash a blood red color. His body has a pale complexion, but a dark aura surrounds him and this often gives anyone immense chills by simply laying eyes upon him.

To describe his personality bluntly, Kirai is an evil, deceitful creature that wishes to spread nothing but hatred and pain everywhere he walks. He takes great pleasure in watching people suffer and spread mayhem across the globe, not caring about what happens to the word with the wars he spreads throughout the land. He is condescending and cruel, enjoys being able to torture those he considers weaker than himself and has an intense disdain for displays with affection. War and violence tend to be music to his ears, he enjoys seeing the blood of the innocent splatter about the world with an almost terrifying pleasure. He hates the very notion of civility and peace among nations. He is highly intelligent, though he has a habit of underestimating opponents.

Much like Axelia, Kirai has numerous powers he can take advantage of in his battle for dominance in the moralistic war with he bright counterpart. While Axelia is fast and agile, Kirai is slow and tough. His power completely dwarfs his counterpart's, while his defense and stamina are second to none. He is capable of healing much quick than the average person. His abilities cause more damage towards those with a pure heart.

Beam of Hatred
A blast of negative energy is fired from the palms of his hand, piercing through even steel as if it were paper. It is used when Kirai needs a fast and powerful attack.

Evil Earthquake
Slamming his beloved scythe into the ground, the ground shakes violently and causes disorientation towards anyone who was within the vicinity of the attack. The stronger the quake, the more energy is sapped.

Dark Pulse
A quick swing of his scythe causes a powerful wave of darkness to fly out in front of him, hitting anyone that is unlucky enough to be in front of him. This saps an immense amount of energy.

Deceitful Rain
Raising his scythe, dark clouds form over the area and a strange, black liquid pours over the unlucky souls and causes them to become confused and disoriented.

Soul Absorption
One of his favorite, but sparingly used abilities. He absorbs each and every soul within the vicinity to raise his strength. However, he can only use it once every thousand years. He used this to wipe out Cawli in the early history of Betelgeuse.

Regeneration
By using this technique, he is capable of healing wounds in the blink of an eye, however the more severe the wound, the more energy is used up.

Soul Render
With a swipe of his scythe, he is capable of causing a person's wounds to fester endlessly, effectively rendering their healing process to fail completely. This takes up an immense amount of energy.

HISTORY

Thousands of years before time had a name, the world of Majoria was a fresh, fledgling collection of kingdoms that spread throughout the young planet, there were two spirits that constantly fought against one another in an endless attempt to conquer the other in hopes of spreading their truth and ideals. One, Axelia, fought to spread goodness and wholesome love throughout the emerging kingdoms who were unfortunately under many wars of their own, triggered by the many battles between the two spirits. The Spirit of Light was the name given to the child that fought for love and peace to reign about the world, her light shined brightly for all to see. Though, this loving light was being pushed back by a dark and equally as powerful entity. The child the shined in innocence fought back with every bit of power she could muster, but her light could not cancel out the immense darkness that crept towards in every corner.

The love and peace she wished to spread about the globe would be constantly met with a vile hatred and violence, trying to bring dominance towards the Good Lady. This spirit, Kirai, the Spirit of Darkness consistently fought against the peace loving child in a desperate attempt to spread malice throughout the world, blood and the smell of death excited him, being one of the few things that could make him smile. Oh, what a lovely sight it was for him. Using his brand of hatred, he unleashed assault after assault against the Spirit of Light in hopes of quenching this almost disgusting ray of hope, allowing his darkness to consume the world in all its entirety. No one was safe from the destruction and mayhem caused by the two spirits, no man, woman, nor child were spared from the raging fires that fell from the heavens in their endless clashes. Sparks flew, fire raged, wars spread about the world like a disease. Numerous kingdoms were destroyed in the endless struggles and the world itself was nearly burned to a cinder.

Axelia nor Kirai could overcome the other and their powers were slowly sapped away until they effectively became living statues. The Spirit of Light took refuge in what is now known as Beygate, Canis Majoris in order to restore her energy. The ironically warm and kindhearted people proved to be beneficial to the Good Lady's recovery, as within just ten years she was back up and ready to combat the unbearable hatred that had consumed the world. While neither spirit had overcome the other, the humans were more or less free to choose whether they wanted to follow in the Good Lady's footsteps or follow behind the Deceitful One, the world was as divided as ever and it hurt Axelia immensely, she wanted the people of the world to live in peace and lock arms with one another in the name of love, but unfortunately her absence had a negative impact on the morals of the people. Wars broke out all over the globe, resulting in the formation of a small, demon filled kingdom to the west. Tears fell from her cheeks and she went about her business, healing the wounds of war and tending to the innocence that had been stolen away from the young minds. However, her love and warmth would soon be in another deadly conflict with that same monster that fought against her before time had even begun.

While Axelia had come to rest in what is now known as Canis Majoris, Kirai had found himself in what is now known as Betelgeuse. The Spirit of Darkness thrived upon the unsavory aura the young kingdom possessed, people were hateful and generally angry, especially towards outsiders and towards the Deceitful One himself. This disdain and disgusting attitude excited Kirai like a Playboy Bunny excites most American men. It was disgusting, but what would you expect from the very embodiment of evil? This dark and foreboding energy restored Kirai back to his former glory in just under ten years. Thanks to his rather speedy recovery, he was able to get back on track in spreading his hatred across the globe, being the reason that Axelia had risen to a disdainful and painful world. Nearly half of the world's population had be swayed by his influence, giving rise to mass murders, wars, and influx in the number of people taken as slaves in quantities higher than ever.

During this time, the sinister Kirai had made a point to influence some of the world's most powerful leaders, including the first king of Betelgeuse and is rumored to have been the one to have influenced the king in beginning the Great Genocide that lasted for nearly a century, wiping nearly twenty million humans and demons alike from the face of Majoria. The war raged throughout every kingdom in Majoria between the hateful humans and the targeted demons. This war was a deadly and terrifying time to be alive for anyone, whether you were an innocent human who nothing to do with the war or just a lonesome demon. Humans were thrown about like ragdolls, demons were torn limb from limb. Men, women, and children were murdered, kidnapped, and treated like toys by those who managed to overpower them. Smoke clogged the once beautiful skies of Majoria, fires ravished the once lush forests that dominated many of the world's kingdoms. However, we're not here for that story, that'll be saved for another time.

Unfortunately for the Spirit of Darkness, his special brand of hatred would slowly be pushed back as Axelia had risen for another installment of their endless battle. The spirits engaged in another struggle with the other. Light and darkness clashed in an increasing intensity, citizens of the nearby kingdoms quivered in fear as what looked to be the end of civilization as they know it. What could they have done to intervene in a fight that determined the moralistic outcome of the entirety of Majoria? It wasn't a wise idea to get between the clashing of two godlike beings, especially if you valued your own life. Much like the battles that occurred previously, fires had broken out throughout the world, people were having moralistic crises, the blood of innocent people splattered all over the place. It was a terrifying scene for anyone to witness.

This battle raged for nearly a century, the exact duration of the Great Genocide that ravaged the world during that same time frame. Like prior, neither side could overcome the other. Axelia and Kirai were even in every aspect of their power, the light could not kill the darkness that plagued the world, the darkness could not filter out the light that threatened to erase the darkness the Spirit of Darkness worked so hard to spread. The Spirit of Light kept up with a relentless assault on the Deceitful One, wanting nothing more than to get rid of him for good. She hated seeing the people getting hurt for something that she had started, she hated seeing innocent blood spilled for a battle that she was too weak to end. It pained her immensely, those tears that spilled from her eyes were pure anguish as she watched the people she worked so hard to protect die in vain of her efforts.

However, the Deceitful One found pleasure in the destruction and mayhem that ensued with the endless battle. The way the raging fired danced around in his dark eyes made him smile, it gave him happiness, and a reason to keep on with an admittedly pointless struggle. The screams of the innocent children and the destruction of homes were like music to his ears, they gave him plenty of happiness. The relentless assaults delivered by the Spirit of Light were met with equally as powerful assaults.

As the years went on, their century long battle came to an end. Like before, Axelia went into hiding in northern Canis Majoris, residing deep within the mines of Beygate away from human contact. Her powers were weak and severely limited due to the raging battle that had gone on just hours prior, she would've been extremely vulnerable to an attack, so she made it a point to keep herself hidden until her strength returned to her, though she longed to have contact with humans once again. Meanwhile, Kirai had aimlessly wandered the wilderness of Betelgeuse, eventually coming across the thriving town of Cawli. He took on the role of the average citizen, trying to hide what he truly was, fearing what could potentially happen if he were caught.

Unlike before, the two had not risen after a single decade, they had sapped up too much of their energy in the previous battle. Axelia had left her hiding place in the mines of Beygate, living with a family of fox demons. Her inability to age prevented her from assimilating with the average human without suspicion, so if she wanted to make sure was capable of one day rising again to spread her love and peace, she needed to stay hidden and she needed to keep herself from engaging in any pointless battles.

However, things were not nearly as peaceful for Kirai and the town of Cawli. In the present day Betelgeuse, the city has earned the nickname 'The City of Tombs' due to the numerous dead bodies found in the city streets. You're probably asking yourself about what caused the people to die, if you had some patience, we'd get there.

The town was going about its usual business, adults were heading out to work in the mines like usual, while others tended to their families and shops that dotted the small town, children headed off towards school to prepare themselves for the real world. The city was a perfect little example of what every town should strive to be, crime was a rarity and people were generally peaceful, disputes were settled in peaceful ways and violence was almost unheard of. With the immense prosperity and peace the town held, it'd be a wonder that the near thirty thousand people would perish within a single night. It's almost unbelievable, even the most devout of conspiracy theorists are unable to come up with logical reasons behind what tragedy befell this peaceful community.

However, even if someone had told you, I bet even you'd have trouble believing the story. The Spirit of Darkness wasn't going to put up with waiting any longer, so what did he do? He began absorbing the souls of the people of the town, while he was weakened due to the century long battle, his power was still immense enough that he was capable of absorbing every single soul within all of Cawli. Thirty thousand people were absorbed and were used to help strengthen the Dark One, however even with the many lives he stole, it was not enough to bring him back to full strength. He still had centuries to go before he could fight again.

Fortunately for Kirai, he was not even thought of as a potential cause of the nightmarish event that took the lives of Cawli's population, as by this time these spirits had more or less fallen out of Majorian folklore and have been effectively replaced by the Elemental Guardians as the world's deities. After the event, the Dark One returned to hiding, taking his refuge in a silent cave just north of Cawli. People who pass by this cave are said to feel a chill rush down their spine and often times leave the area with more injuries than they came with. While it is not against the law to explore the area, government officials and scholars alike greatly discourage the excursion.

Centuries had passed by and neither of the spirits had risen and have largely become unknown by this point, both of them remain in hiding as they wait for the proper moment to rise again. Axelia wishes to rise when the nation she resides in is finally at peace so that her previous battle was not just in vain, but unfortunately her influence is not strong enough to completely cancel out the foreboding darkness that emanates from Kirai. Until the day that either spirit is eliminated, the world will never have a clear outlook on their morals. If Kirai is wiped out, Majoria will enter a 1000 year reign of peace. If Axelia is wiped out, Majoria will enter a 1000 year reign of violence, however if both spirits are killed, the world will enter a 1000 year reign of emotionless beings that care for nothing, not even themselves. They'll move on as if they were mindless machines until the spirits revive.

Within the present time, neither spirit has made a move to begin their inevitable fight, they are simply allowing their energy to reach their absolute max before they return to their violent ways with one another. For now, the world sits in a a sort of moralistic confusion. Both evil and good reign in a sort of harmony with one another, neither cancels the other out entirely. Until the rise, the people of Majoria continue to live their lives like normal without fear of war or threat of extermination by a largely unknown duo.
