Alignment: Lawful Good
Deity: He is a devout believer of the Nine Guardians of Majoria
Age: 24
Body Type: Athletic
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 220lbs
Complexion: Fair
Hair: Fiery red hair, generally unkempt and messy.
Eyes: Deep, sapphire blue eyes. They appear focused and brave.
Relationship Status: Single
Likes: Battle, his family, adventure, gold, and sweets.
Birthplace: Negrisa, Canis Majoris
Face Claim: Roy (Fire Emblem/Super Smash Bros.)
A tall, refined young man that can often be seen wearing his father's prized suit of armor and his blade. The armor is predominantly blue in color, though golds, silvers, and whites decorate the armor. It is a tough, but light and flexible armor that protects his most vital areas; the chest, legs, arms, and shoulders. On his back is a long, flowing, but tattered violet cape with a red underside. His hair is an astonishingly deep, fiery red color while his eyes are the deepest blue anyone will ever see. He is almost never seen without his signature headband, he claims he received it from his younger sister with whom supposedly died on the day he became a paladin.
Cool, calm, and collected. Roy has a kind, calm demeanor, though he's brutally honest and can sometimes come off a bit ruder than intended. He rarely lies and will more than often say what's on his mind. He doesn't take much thought into people's opinions of another person, he prefers to judge them with his own eyes. He's got a strange sense of humor. Despite his honesty, he's got extreme trouble trying to make advances on a person he loves. He is incredibly dense, and will almost never notice a person's advances on him, which also troubles the man's romance game. He will almost always be seen with a piece of candy in his mouth. Once he's fallen in love with someone, he'll remain fiercely loyal to them and will protect them with his life, however if they betray the trust he's given them, it's very unlikely anyone will earn it again.
Roy is a fearsome opponent in battle, having high strength and high speed, but poor defensive capabilities. He is most comfortable with his favorite sword, the Red Lion. His skill with a sword is top notch and is capable of using the sword's fire magic to its fullest potential. However, without his blade, Roy is hopeless; his hand to hand skills are mediocre at best and he struggles with close quarters combat. His stamina is higher than the majority of humans, while his movements can get rather predictable after awhile. While he's generally calm and cool, it isn't hard to enrage him. His rage clouds his mind and causes his movements to become erratic and with time, extremely predictable. Roy is a deadly opponent that should never be underestimated, but he is by no means unbeatable.
He can take advantage of numerous powers his sword possesses, though the stronger the technique, the more energy is sapped from his blade. His sword also seems to grant him the ability to control fire with his own two hands, however this will only work if he is holding his sword. So, if he loses his blade, he is virtually helpless.
Fire Blast:
With this technique, the blade shines a brilliant red color and blistering hot flames fly out with each swing of his sword. This is his most basic technique and is by far his weakest, while it isn't likely to straight up kill a demon in a single slash, but it's useful when he needs a quick attack. It takes little energy to use this technique, so he uses it often.
Flare Blade:
Like Fire Blast, his sword flashes a bright red color, however it does not shoot fire, but rather flames swirl around the blade as they await for Roy to hit an opponent. The wielder can charge the attack to make it stronger, but the longer he charges it, the more energy it takes from him.
Dancing Blade:
His sword shines in red, gold, and white flames respectively and he slashes forward three times, each attack getting stronger. The attack is blindingly fast and deals heavy damage if all three hits connect, though his energy drains more with each successful hit.
Counter:
Becoming cloaked in fire, Roy enters a defensive stance and the next attack he receives will be sent back towards the opponent, doing twice as much damage as it would've caused him. He rarely uses this technique as it completely drains him of energy.
Flame Burst:
Like Fire Blast, Roy fires off a ball of fire and rather than just burning his opponent upon impact, the flames burst in a brilliant, but deadly explosion causing damage towards anyone, including Roy and his allies, within a thirty foot radius. It doesn't sap nearly as much energy as his other techniques, but that's just due to the many dangers come with using the attack.
The Lion's Fang:
Similar to the Dancing Blade, Roy's sword is engulfed in a silver fire and he swings towards an opponent's barrier. It is used to destroy weak barriers like those put up by weaker demons, however it is virtually useless against holy barriers.
Toxic Flame:
Similar to the Dancing Blade, Roy's sword is engulfed in a green flame and rather than burning an opponent on contact, it poisons them. This poison is generally nothing more than a nuisance, but it provides him with a bit of a distraction. It takes little energy to use.
Phoenix Heart:
Arguably his most surprising technique, this one is not offensive, but rather it heals. He fires off a strange, beautifully pink fire towards his target and rather than burning them, their wounds are slowly healed and energy is restored. However, Roy loses more energy depending on how severe his targets wounds are. This technique can be used on both allies and enemies, though it doesn't seem to be very effective on beings with malicious intentions.
Multicolored Flames:
This is more of an aesthetic detail, Roy can change the color of his fire at will. This doesn't change the amount of damage the attack causes or how much energy is sapped, however Roy can use this to cause confusion with opponents that know his fighting style.
All of his abilities can be strengthened with the legendary Ruby of the Phoenix, but more energy is slapped with more usage.
The young paladin was born and raised in the City of Fire, Negrisa. He was born into a wealthy family that was well known for their mercenary work, being extremely thorough and clean in their work all the while taking on the dirty jobs the majority of the others refused to take. These dirty jobs gave the family a nice sized bank account and gave them the money to live in the nicest parts of Negrisa. The youngest of seven children, Roy was trained in swordsmanship under the tutelage of his father while learning fire magic up at the Keep of Fiery Ruin, a college designed to train the aspiring pyromancers. His magical prowess was decidedly average, while he wasn't terrible with it, he definitely wouldn't be winning any 'mage of the year' awards in the near future, however his swordsmanship was above average.
This training would prove to be useful later on in his life, as he would take on the job of a mercenary much like his father, and his father's father. Though, unlike his family, his skill and prowess in combat was noted by the reigning King Serentias III and he was enlisted to join the army's newly formed Paladin Division, a group full of magical warriors that have displayed great prowess with not just magic, but weapons as well. Roy was often sent to take on missions throughout the nation like he did before, but this time, he received a much nicer pay. His work lead him to the snowy Beygate, to the sandy Belondie, and to everywhere in between. During this time, he began learning more about the strange sorcerer and her ability to manipulate the dead. This both terrified him, but intrigued him, so in his off time, he began studying what he could find on her; including where she was being imprisoned.
He learned that the woman was trapped behind a magical barrier at a small prison, so he begun studying his magic in hopes of being able to destroy the barrier so he might learn more about this woman. As he studied, he learned about the Ruby of the Phoenix, a legendary gem that could significantly raise the power of his fire magic, which this means he could likely destroy the barrier surrounding the abandoned prison. So, the then seventeen year old Roy set off on his journey in hopes of finding this legendary jewel while taking his various jobs with the Paladin Division.
One year had passed by since he began this search for the legendary stone, and with much surprise he had actually found it during a job investigating some strange happenings in the Beygate Mines. After obtaining the gem and completing the mission, Roy took some time off from his work with the Paladin Division in order to investigate the prison behind the barrier. With the newly obtained gem and his strengthened fire magic, he was capable of tearing down the barrier with a few strokes of his sword.
Once the barrier fell, Roy began exploring every inch of the tower. Bones, dust, and ruined books littered the building; the bricks and furniture were old and crumbling, from a distance one would mistaken it for the set of some kind of horror movie. Initially, Roy believed this little excursion to be nothing more than a waste of time, or at least he thought that until he reached the very of the prison. He came across a woman, one that looked just a few years older than him, but he could tell just by looking at her that there was a huge difference in their age. The woman appeared mildly surprised at the appearance of the fiery warrior, few words were exchanged by them, but with the barrier down, the woman was able to flee the tower. A strange spark formed in Roy, something he hadn't felt before. Upon laying his eyes upon the woman, a void in his heart had seemingly been filled and a new love had begun forming in him.
After the woman had fled, Roy began looking into who this woman was and what her story was. The rumors had spread that the necromancer living in the tower was a cold, merciless killer, yet Roy had survived an encounter with her. He refused to believe the stories until he saw it for himself. With this in mind, he returned to the Paladin Division in hopes of one day running into the woman again.
Now, just twenty-four years old, Roy had been sent on a new mission to investigate the strange happenings surrounding the Sanctuary of Nightmares. Rumors had spread around the Dark Sorcerer had risen again and has begun inciting a new rebellion against the royal family. Torn, Roy took on the mission just to see if this Dark Sorcerer was the same woman he met just six years earlier. He is unsure of what he'll do if the Dark Sorcerer happens to be the one he seemingly fell for.

"The Necromancer"
Real Name: Crystal Araya
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Class: Necromancer
Alignment: Unknown
Deity: She believes Majoria's deities are nothing more than excuses for a person's crimes.
Age: Unknown. She appears to be only seventeen, but is presumed to be centuries old.
Body Type: Average, though signs of undernourishment and abuse are obvious.
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 93lbs
Hair: Dark, navy blue. Though, sometimes it appears to be dark black.
Eyes: A deep pink, they appear cold, yet kind and naive.
Relationship Status: In love, though she will immediately deny this to anyone. On the surface, she claims to be uninterested in love and has been known to murder those who flirt with her.
Birthplace: Hydon, Canis Majoris
In contrast to her nickname, she can often be seen wearing a long black dress with a white blouse covering most of her chest, a red ribbon is tied around her neck as a bit of decoration. Her head is often covered with a hat, most often the white hat she loves so much. Her hair is a very deep, navy blue color that under poor lighting appears a dark black color. Her eyes are almost surprisingly kind looking, but often times look as if they could peer into your soul. They're a deep, light pink color that shine like a freshly polished gem under the sunlight. She has an averagely built body that has obvious signs of abuse. Her skin is pale, but dotted with various scars. On her back is a large sunflower, the very same flower that decorates the skin of the royal family.
While she's known as being the first necromancer, she is almost uncharacteristically kind and sweet. She has a big heart and enjoys being able to help those in need. She rarely lies and tries to keep an optimistic outlook on things, but being trapped in prison for years really didn't help her there. Those who have imprisoned her have noted that her personality doesn't fit the reputation she's been given, her kind heart and sweet smile made a number of guards fall for her, however each person that made a move on her were killed in a matter of seconds. While she is surprisingly kind and sweet, she has a dark side to her. Getting on her bad side will result in having your soul torn from your body. She's intelligent and very deceptive, able to trick even the most brilliant of scholars. She is not above using trickery to get her way and she is rather arrogant of her abilities. She greatly detests romance of all kind, believing love will only get in the way of her work, so flirting with her would be a bad idea and will likely only lead to pain. Deep in her heart, one can find a fountain of sorrow flowing through her veins. When she is alone, often times a sorrowful song can be heard coming from her general location. Her voice is said to evoke sadness in even the most cheery people. She is rather arrogant in her powers, believing her abilities far surpass anyone else's. She has a habit of underestimating her opponents.
Crystal is a master of the arcane arts and is widely considered to have been the most powerful mage in the entirety of Majoria's existence. Though, her mastery of the five types of magic paled into comparison to her most deadly creation, the development of dark magic, or necromancy. With this type of magic, she's been able to control the dead, manipulate the souls of the living, and temporarily raise the dead to do her bidding. This magic has given her a terrifying reputation as a killer and someone you wouldn't want to cross in a dark alley, or anywhere for that matter. Luckily, she isn't easy to anger and she rarely resorts to her magic, but watch out when she uses it, her victims aren't known to survive without losing a few of their limbs.
She uses her mastery of her various types of magic to harm, trick, and heal opponents while also using it to protect herself and those she cares for. Here are just a few examples of what she can do.
PYROMANCY (Fire Magic)
She can frequently be seen using fire whenever she's not manipulating the poor sap's soul. Unlike many fire mages, she has near perfect control of the deadly element and is able to use it for defensive and offensive positions alike. She primarily uses it as a means of attack if she wishes for her opponent to suffer before killing them. A skilled water mage or earth mage can easily defend against this kind of magic.
Fire Blast: A scorching wave of heat is fired at her opponent, often times causing intense burning sensations upon contact and often times melts the skin, and sometimes bones, if one experiences prolonged contact. However, the longer she uses it, the more energy is drained from her. She generally uses this as a method of torture to interrogate those she deems necessary.
Flame Cloak: Like Fire Blast, a scorching wave of heat is created, but rather than being fired at her opponents, it wraps itself around her as a risky shield. Those who get to close experience painful burns and often times both their weapons and armor receive severe, irreparable damage. However, if an opponent is quick enough, they can cause major damage on Crystal.
Flaming Familiar: Combining both her pyromancy and her necromancy, she summons a soul of a deceased animal to attack her foes. These familiars wouldn't be too deadly if it wasn't for the fact that they were on fire. Upon contact with an opponent, the familiar explodes and scorches anyone, including Crystal, nearby. She can only use this ability once a day.
AQUAMANCY (Water Magic)
A powerful magic designed primarily for defensive spells. Crystal tends to use this for opponents that are especially tricky and needs to buy some time to formulate a better strategy. She has skill with ice magic and is capable of using it alongside her water magic quite easily. A skilled lightning or grass mage can easily counter this type of magic.
Tsunami: Crystal raises up a large wave of water, acting as a temporary shield before causing it to crash down on her opponents. Often times, this will cause her opponents to drown, or at the very least, come close to it. While the spell is arguably one of her most powerful, it is slow and rather predictable, so she very rarely resorts to this. It takes up massive amounts of energy to properly use.
Water Whip: She forms a thin, but long stream of water and lashes at her opponent. This attack causes major pain, but minor damage and is often times nothing more than an annoyance for most people, however she'll generally lace the ends of the stream with sharpened blades of ice, causing more pain and damage; she frequently uses not just one or two whips of water, but will often resort to five, sometimes more, each laced with the blades of ice. This takes little energy and she frequently uses it against her opponents, but generally it doesn't do much harm to her opponents and it is easily avoided.
Icy Shield: Quickly, Crystal raises a wall of water and almost instantaneously freezes it to create a powerful shield of ice. This can defend against nearly all attacks, but grass, lightning, and fire magic can destroy the shield if the attacks are strong enough. Crystal is generally helpless for several seconds after the shield has been destroyed, and is rendered vulnerable to attacks.
ELECTROMANCY (Lightning Magic)
An incredibly strong magic type that is dangerous to both her victims and herself. Not even Crystal has perfect control over lightning, no one does and no one ever will. While she can create and direct strong bolts of lightning, she cannot always assure it'll hit her target or even do much damage, as electricity is a volatile and unpredictable element. Before she resorts to her lightning, she prefers being able to create situations and scenarios that provide favorable use for this deadly type of magic. Skilled fire and earth mages can easily defend against this type of magic, but even they have to be wary of its unpredictable nature.
Lightning Rod: Raising her hand, Crystal absorbs energy from nearby opponents and redirects the flow of incoming energy towards the palm of her outstretched hand and soon lets it loose in the form of beautiful, but deadly bolts of lightning. While this attack replenishes her of her own energy, the attack presents a danger to herself as the bolts will fly in all directions, including in the direction of its user. Taking a hit from even just one bolt can kill a person, so she very rarely resorts to this attack.
Lightning Hammer: Surrounding her fist in an electrifying aura, Crystal lunges forward and fires off a devastating bolt of lightning directly in front of her. This causes massive damage if it hits, but to due to the erratic nature of the lightning bolt's movements, it can often be unreliable and sometimes goes way off course from its destined path. Crystal will only use this if her opponents are close by, as missing with this attack can leave her wide open to a counter attack.
Lightning Storm: Crystal summons small, frighteningly dark clouds and casts them over her opponent. Thunder begins clapping as bolts of lightning rain down on her unfortunate victim. While the bolts themselves do not cause large amounts of damage, they are capable paralyzing its victims for a long period of time and will sometimes cause death if they're unlucky enough. However, this attack takes up a huge amount of energy and hitting its mark isn't always guaranteed. She will not use this spell unless she is positive it'll yield some positive results.
LEAFOMANCY (Grass Magic)
Unlike the majority of the magic Crystal specializes in, grass magic has little offensive value and is primarily used to heal, inflict diseases, and deceive her opponents. She only uses this if she's unable to mow down her opponents out of sheer power and needs the upper hand in battle. This kind of magic can inflict her opponents with terrible diseases, cause them to experience horrifically realistic illusions, or simply buy Crystal some time. The unpredictable nature makes it difficult to defend against, even if she's against skilled fire and lighting mages, so with luck they can emerge victorious.
Sweet Scent: Crystal fires a blast of wind carrying a pleasant scent and strange pollen. In stark contrast to the inviting smells of the Japanese cherry blossom, it's actually recommended that you avoid breathing for as long as you can. The pollen that comes with the inviting wind carry a deadly poison that attacks the heart and brain, and if the poison isn't cured in time, it'll cause both organs to shut down in painful and often violent ways. Crystal rarely resorts to this, but will use it if she believes her opponents deserve to die in agony.
Double Vision: Crystal summons a strange flower, causing her to appear in two places at once. The second Crystal is merely an illusion, but it will not fade away until either Crystal herself calls off the spell or gets hit. This takes up a lot of energy, so she rarely uses it.
This strange necromancer was born in the outskirts of Hydon, her mother was a slave that had just been bought by the then reigning Prince Serentias. The reigning prince had just recently married, so after he found out the slave he had bought was pregnant with his own child, he left the mother just a short distance from where they had met, news like this would've caused the royal family to get hit hard and plenty of trust would just disappear from them. The mother managed to be taken into a small, orphanage like place in order to rest and relax until her ill-fated baby has been brought into the world. Being the royal daughter born in a city frequented by the royal family would cause problems for the mother, so just days after Crystal was born, the mother fled towards the northern temple that would eventually become a problem for her unwanted, but beloved daughter.
The mother had fled towards what is now known as the Sanctuary of Nightmares. Then, it was just a strange temple used for mages that were formally apart of the Kingdom of Ravenloft prior to the nation's take over of Canis Majoris. These mages held much disdain for the royal family and wished to one day overthrow the government in order to one day return their home to the natives, though they will be unable to obtain their wish for generations to come. These initially rejected the mother because of her royal daughter, but after learning of her story, they took her in. Rather than caring for the mother, they murdered her and took in the child as one of their own, raising her in their anti-government ways, though they treated her like any parent would, with much love and care. It wouldn't be a good idea to abuse the child if you wished to brainwash her, after all.
They trained her in Ravenloft's politics, math, science, and the arcane arts. She was taught how to read and write, while given various practical skills like cooking and cleaning. Somewhere along the years, this girl had become a mage far above initial expectation, believed to have become the most powerful mage in not just Canis Majoris, but potentially all of Majoria. Her expertise in magic was almost godlike at times, she controlled it like it was a gift given to her directly from the gods. As she continued training her almost unnaturally high magical expertise, she developed a new kind of magic that would be outlawed just a few decades later. This kind of magic would allow the user to manipulate the souls of the dead and the living, including her own. As a test, she tried a spell on herself that would extend her lifespan. Much to her surprise, it worked, but rather than extending her life, it seemingly froze her body in time. Unless someone killed her, she would forever remain seventeen years old.
This strange magic gave her a rather strange reputation within the hold of Cepheis, some considered her to be an incredible innovator of magic, while others considered Crystal to be the bastard child of the devil. The religious sector of Canis Majoris believed that the dead should be able to rest peacefully and their souls should not be disturbed for any reason. However, within the Sanctuary of Nightmares, she developed a reputation similar to that of the Nine Guardians of Majoria, though she was not a goddess by birth nor would she ever become one.
For reasons unknown, the reigning King of Canis Majoris sent a small militia to take these necromancers out. They believed that this new form of magic was deadly and unnatural, so their only logical decision was to weed out these new mages and to take out their newfound queen, Crystal who was soon nicknamed the Dark Sorcerer of Bhhullitu. The military was full of skillful warriors, but they were completely unprepared for the power Crystal possessed. The battle was short, but bloody; the inexperienced mages were almost completely wiped out, while the more experienced mages held on until Crystal unexpectedly surrendered in hopes of her allies being spared. While she could control the souls of the people around her, she was incapable of bringing the dead back to life. Once she surrendered, she was quickly arrested and transported to a prison that would later become named the Bastion of the Sorcerer of Bhhullitu. She was imprisoned for the remainder of her endless life, occasionally questioned and torture for little to no reason.
While she was in this prison, a number of guards had frequently expressed their love for her and attempted to force themselves on her, however Crystal wasn't having any of this. Every last guard that attempted anything with her quickly found themselves in a mangled, bloodied mess. As the decades went by, the prison, along with Crystal, was slowly abandoned, though in an attempt to keep the necromancer in the prison, they created a magical barrier that prevented anything inside from escaping, including the Dark Sorcerer. She now sits alone in the dark, crumbling tower, singing a sorrowful song as she awaits for her chance to escape. Her endless life became depressing and lonely, though she managed to keep an optimistic outlook on things with high hopes in the future.
Fortunately for her, this imprisonment wouldn't last forever, as a strange, red haired warrior had come across her. With few words exchanged between the two, she fled the prison now that the barrier had been destroyed. However, something deep within her heart sparked, a love was forming in her, something she greatly detested. Despite her many protests within herself, she was unable to get the image of the red headed warrior out of he mind, she had undeniably fallen into a deep love with him despite their brief meeting.
After fleeing from her depressing prison, she had returned to the Sanctuary of Nightmares where she began plotting a way to get revenge on the royal family, specifically the father of the newborn prince. Rather than attacking the child himself, she decided to hire someone to take out the king and queen. A man named Yancey took up the job and swiftly dealt with his targets, though the King never actually died, he scraped by barely and soon fled the castle out of fear. This attack left the prince orphaned. However, Crystal's vengeance didn't stop there, she sent another group to kidnap the daughter of the Minister of Justice, a girl that was in a tight, loving relationship with the nation's crowned prince. This event led to a spiraling chain of events that would eventually lead to the exiling of the prince. Figuring her work was done, she began planning a rebellion against the capital after learning of the hostile takeover of the former kingdom of Ravenloft from her former allies.
Unfortunately for her, just a few years later, the crowned prince would return to Canis Majoris with a new queen. Her plan would be set back just a little, but she soon figured this would be a fantastic way to wrap up her revenge against the royal family; she was completely unaware that she was related to Eren, she had always assumed the sunflower marking on her was nothing more than a result of her magical experiments.
Though, somewhere along the lines, her rebellion plans had been leaked and had reached the ears of the recently formed Paladin Division. Like just years prior, a new militia was heading towards their sacred grounds in hopes of stamping out any talk of rebellion. While she had no fear of death, she was afraid of meeting with the young warrior that had freed her all those years ago. She was incapable of killing someone she had fallen in love with and was nervous of what might happen if the warrior had met her in battle; that kind of battle would lead to at least one of them dying. The sorrowful song that echoed the prison she once called home began echoing the temple she currently resides in, despite that, she kept an optimistic outlook ready for the future.
