Description: Mercy has a very comfortable and often cutesy clothing style. She generally wears a form-fitting v-neck cut shirt with either a pair of jeans or a frilly skirt that reaches down to her knees. For shoes, she generally wears a pair of black boots or tennis shoes. Her black hair is fairly long and reaches to just below her chest area. She generally keeps it tied up in a ponytail. Her eyes are a dazzling greenish-blue color and they glimmer with a mix of hope, determination, and sadness. She also tends to wear some light make-up to make her eyes and lips stand out.
Personality-wise, she comes off as a very respectable, sweet, and hard working young lady to people in her little town and to strangers. However, if one were to get to know her a little more, they would quickly discover that she is also very quick to give into things to make people happy and that she is also a hopeless romantic, though she claims to have already given her heart to someone that she refuses to name. It’s also pretty obvious that she is hiding some sort of secret from everyone.

Biography: Mercy didn’t mean to fall into the role of a married man’s secret mistress, it just… happened. Though, before we get to that, let’s get into this young lady’s early life. At seven years old, she had been given up to an orphanage by her parents. They had been struggling with financial troubles that they were unable to get out of and instead of having their daughter suffer, they decided to give her a chance to find a family that could support her. Weeks later, news came that Mercy’s birth parents had died in an unfortunate accident. On that same day, Mercy was adopted by a very kind and loving couple. Mercy was both heartbroken and elated; she lost her birth parents, but she also found a new family.
From then on, she was known as Mercy Branco (she had previously been Mercy Fredrickson) and she lived a very happy and comfortable life. Her adopted parents showered her with as much love and affection as Mercy’s birth parents did and they had more than enough money to support her and eventually her little brother and sister as the couple had given birth to twins a few years after adopting Mercy.
It was a few months after Mercy’s twentieth birthday that things started to take another turn for her. She had just managed to save up enough money to buy a small home and moved into one in a small, close-knit town where everyone knew everyone. It was there she had met who would eventually be her biggest downfall; a man named Gregory. Gregory had moved into the town with his then fiance and he was immediately taken by Mercy’s looks when he saw her. A few weeks of talking and one thing led to another and all of a sudden, the two found themselves in a very intimate moment, as if by accident.
Of course, there was the problem of Gregory still being engaged, though that seemed to be resolved when he promised Mercy the morning after that he would break things off with his fiance. Though, a couple weeks later and things still hadn’t been broken off between Gregory and his fiance, in fact the two had ended up marrying, and the affair between Gregory and Mercy was still going on, turning the simple affair into adultery.
Mercy knows full well what her and Gregory are doing is wrong and she does want to cut things off, but she just can’t bring herself to do so. Part of it is because she has faith that Gregory will leave his wife for her, though that faith is slowly fading away and another part of it is because she’s scared of news of the affair getting out if Gregory gets mad about her breaking things off. Now, Mercy continues the affair with Gregory, still clinging to the hope that either he’ll leave his wife or that she’ll finally get the courage to stop what she sees as a pointless relationship. After all, how can you fully love a man you have to share?
