Samuel Leo it was rare sighting. A human, who walked around with a bright warm carefree smile on their face. Hat was pushed off to the side, to give him some shade from that bright sun while Samuel worked away. Although the slightly malnourished man could have been delusional, and was definitely considered delusional by some, Samuel felt amazing today. The Arch Demon that had invaded the church had left soon after, and Samuel was digging through supplies and throwing out the really bad food, and sorting out the good food. The holy spirit in him was giving him that peace he needed and joy. Blue eyes sparkling as his heart pounded decently fast. A hammer was lifted and slammed down on the wooden post. He had carved this message last night, and had decided it'd be a great start to getting something done about this old church to become...something new. Something that he was certain God wanted done.
Samuel Leo peace was with him today as was joy. It radiated from his face and actions as he set the hammer down and soon went back inside, only to pull out glasses of water, clean water. It may be warm but it was clean. Food was gathered as well, little paper bags filled with cans of food, evenly distributed. Soon enough, he'd pull out a chair behind this rickety wooden table and sit behind it, praying over his fair portion about how today would go, and praising him silently for his wondrous activity as well as blessing before raising his eyes to meet with the sky, eating while he stared up at it. When would he get to go Home though. When was his job done, God? That's what Samuel was wondering. What he would always be wondering.

Alpheus's main goal was to help those in need.. Daimon was the brute strength and fought more than she did, Allie was about preserving humanity and life on earth but that didn't mean the little thing didn't know how to hold her own. Wings beat as she hauled through the sky carrying a large wooden crate that had supplies; Cans of purified water, fresh foods, cured meats, and even medicines that were hard to find.. Some of this stuff she got by doing raids on emeny hideouts but in the end it was worth it. The sign of sanctuary caught her attenion.. This was where she'd take the supplies. Instead of landing inside the church itself she landed outfront with grace, feathered appendages folded against her back while those green gems focused on the human going through stuff. His aura gave off holy signatures but he was human and no form of supernatural presence or at least non that she could personal see or feel," I have brought more supplies to give out to those in need."
Alpheus's voice was soft and held a heavenly tone. She had noticed him praying and she couldn't help but smile," Keep it up.. Dont give up on him, it is a very trying time and heaven is well.. complicated right now."

Intergalactic's just walking along, minding her own business as usual. Being in public, the plump woman is disguised as a human. Middle-aged, strawberry blonde hair, and round blue eyes. She's dressed in a mid-thigh length casual blue dress with a mis-matching pair of ruby slippers on her feet. Today, the disguised alien is taking the time to familiarize herself with the city near where she's situated. Sunday had been a bit of an odd day for her, but she hasn't encountered any trouble since then. Not yet, at least. The curious creature's curiosity is bound to get her into trouble at some point. Stell stops in front of the church. She gives the building a curious glance over. Odd, the architecture is different from most of the buildings she has passed today. The woman opens the door and steps inside, head turning this way and that. Not being supernatural, she doesn't give off such vibes, but at the same time, her smell may betray her to those with heightened senses. Her eyes
Intergalactic: land on a couple of people that happen to be inside. She just watches them. The wings are a curious feature, but it's not the oddest thing she's seen on someone here.

Samuel Leo blue eyes shifted to notice a flap of wings, and Sameul tilted his head up, spoon stuck halfway in his mouth as he blinked over at Alpheus when she landed. Bright smile rose on his face as he felt that holy spirit stirring in her presence even more. "Hello." was given to her in a polite reply, that smile widening as she mentioned she too brought supplies. Gods will indeed, Samuel. One could definitely see it that way, when a assumed angel was bringing you more supplies to hand out. "Thank you, I'll put all of this to good use, God willing." was tacked on at the end, standing up as had finished his can of beans, walking over to her to extend his arms out. He chuckled as she said those words. "He hasn't given up on me, when he could have. I won't to the best of my ability." He paused as he realized he didn't know this angels name, so he simply went from extended both arms out for her to hand over a box, to grasping it from her and placing it on the table, only to turn back Samuel Leo and offer a hand out. "Samuel. You are?" And since Inter was inside the church and Samuel was hardly aware of it, he did not interact with her yet. He was far too busy focused on his new arrival helping him out. "Where did you find the medicine? That's a rare find."

Alpheus simply smiled at the man and gave a nod when he said that he was going to put this all to good use," No ill will will be brought to these supplies or I'll strike them down faster than god himself." That was a little brutal coming from and 'angel'. " He will never give up on his children who follow in him but give him time.. There is chaos brewing and heaven is in shambles.. Thats why I was sent to earth." The scent of another caught her attention and the hound smiled more, her body leaned sideways slightly to look into the entrance of the church," No need to hide sweety. We wont bite." As Same gave his name she turned her attention back to him while handing over the crate," I am Alpheus.. Allie for short." The one thing that would give away her not being an angel was rather simple.. There was no halo. " I raided a demon hideout, it was a little gem I found among other things. Make sure it is put to good use. Like you said it is a rare find and is highly needed."

Intergalactic watches them unload the boxes curiously. The two spoke in odd phrases. Ones that she was not familiar with. Not that English was exactly her area of expertise. The female greets her. Stell glances over at Alpheus. The greeting seems warm enough, and the woman doesn't sense any bad vibes coming from the either of them or the building she's in. Stell wanders in further, slowly until she reaches Sam and Allie. The disguised alien tilts her head at the boxes. Her eyes then wander back to the two people working with them. "My name is Stella," she states with her strange accent.

Samuel Leo raised an eyebrow as she said that. For some odd reason, Samuel didn't doubt it. He used several angels and other things to prove his Wrath was mighty. And Samuel honestly also feared Gods anger. Any smart wise man would. "No ill will will be done in my Fathers name. If I do wrong, it is because of flesh, not of God. Forgiveness however, and passion is his nature as well. Allie." as reminded to her, giving her a warm bright smile. Samuel hadn't seen all the angels and their halos, since he was only a human. Thus he still was assuming, an angel. "Interesting name for a angel, usually they are something more complicated...Victoria gave me her angelic name but I..." blush. "I couldn't pronounce it." blue eyes shifted to set the box on the table, pausing as she said those words, shifting to her with a bright smile on his face and nodding. "It is his will that Earth is in Satans clutches." Samuel Leo"I will spend each day he has decided I stay here on earth, one of his glory to my best ability." When he noticed her staring past him and speaking to someone, that is when Samuel turned his blue eyes to notice behind him a new face in the church. He laughed brightly in amusement, shaking his head. "Man, I never knew it would feel like such a home, that some would step in uninvited. Interesting." He waved at her like any normal person would have before this world had gone to crap. "Hi, there!" He looked surprised at her mention raiding a demon hide out. "Probably why an Arch demon came here last night then...right into the church. Guess some things, even God himself doesn't will to stop. Maybe a test of faith, though I think I passed." chuckling briefly until he noticed Stell slowly approaching them with caution. "Samuel." he gave back to her, despite her strange accent. It doesn't freak Samuel out to be honest. Samuel Leo better than seeing a Raptor stand before you. "Hey Stella. You hungry or thirsty?" he'd ask. Pointing to the box of paper bags and glasses of water. "You want some?"

Alpheus rose a brow at him.. They really didn't know? Then again she didn't think humans could have access to heaven.. It would just be better to show him what is really going on but the human had yet to prove himself worthy enough.. Plus he'd have to get Daimons approval as well. " Yes it is.. But this isn't the case sadly." Her wings twitched a bit as she looked around. When he called her an angel her lips pursed for a moment," I am no angel... I'm a resurrection hound. We are sent as the last line of defense for heaven.. Put it this way if the archangels fail we are brought forth. My sire is Gabriel." Her head shook and she sighed ," It is not his will.. it's the fact that we lost a battle.." As Stella came forth she'd smile more at the woman, easily the hound could see past her facade though she didn't judge at all," You're a marvelous creature." As Sam had said that an Archdemon touched holy ground her eyes widened. Alpheus-"This isnt good.. at all.. Things are worse than we had originally thought." Walking away from the group she went to the entrance and took a deep inhale. Yup a demon was here. She then shook her head and sighed," I have to tell Daimon.. He's not going to be happy."

Intergalactic eyes the paper bags and the water. "Hungry? Yes," she replies, but oddly enough, makes no moves towards taking either of the offered items. She gives Allie a small smile. "Allie. Samuel," Stell repeats what she heard. The pair spoke of a few other names, though that conversation didn't seem directed towards her, so she doesn't take those ones in. These were peaceful people. A nice change from the rather rowdy crowd Stell ran into on Sunday. It's quite soothing, not feeling nervous around people.

Samuel Leo smiled as she raised an eyebrow at him. He got that expression often. From angels and humans alike. Truthfully? Samuel didn't need Daimons approval, because in reality he had Michael and Gods approval. But not that she knew that, nor did Samuel know absolutely that he had approval from anyone BUT God. "What isn't the case?" was asked, curious as he searched her face, only to find her pursing her lips and correcting him. "Oh...I didn't know....I'm sorry. Bible doesn't say anything about you guys." was mentioned sheepishly, giving a blush and head ducking as he smiled, raising his clutched bible in his left hand up. It was pulled from his pocket, as always. Eyebrow rose when she said it wasn't his will. Uh.... "Revelation 17:1-5. Come I will show you the judgement of the prostitute who sits on many waters, with whom Kings of the earth committed sexual immorality." Samuel Leo"And he carried me away in the power of the spirit into a wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-colored wild beast that was full of blasphemous names and that had seven heads and ten horns. The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and she was adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, and she had in her hand a golden cup that was full of disgusting things and the unclean things of her sexual immorality. On her forehead was written a name, a mystery: @Babylon the Great, the mother of the prostitutes and of the disgusting things of the earth. Revelations 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life." Head tilted up as he stared at her. "This is will, that the Earth be in Satans hands. That hearts be hardened unto him, before the Four Horsemanarrive. That earth shall suffer under Satans hand, and that they are blinded and decieved by Satan. That their hearts are hardened unto him. That his people who heard him before, went to Heaven to spend with their father." He wasn't obviously grasping what she was trying to tell. "Thus yes, it is Gods will being carried out." Her surprise at hearing Samuels admittance of the break in had Samuel shrugging. "He tore a bible but he did not tear my bible, It is not a big loss. I have seen several others do the same, say the same, and are not demons." Smiling as she claimed she was going to tell Daimon, and that this was a huge error. Was it though? In Samuels mind, it was a wondrous test, that he succeeded in. When Stella repeats what she heard, Samuel shifted his bright happy blue eyes back onto her, smiling bright. Hand lifted for a bag and offered it to her. "Then eat and drink. Rest." was said softly to her, in a warm loving tone. Samuel Leo gesturing over to the swinging chair that he often kept in good shape for anyone to use. "Please, let me serve you, Stella."

Intergalactic listens to Samuel's bible verses, though they make little sense to her. "What is 'prostitute'?" she questions. The woes of talking to someone who barely speaks English. As the young man offers her a bag and glass of water, she takes both, one in each hand. "Thank!" Stell says, quickly downing the water. The strange woman puts the now empty glass back down on the table and opens the paper bag curiously to see its contents. Briefly, she looks at Samuel with a mildly confused expression. "Serve me?" Stell glances over at the chair and moves over to it with slight uncertainty, planting her butt in it.

Maevirin of Fryhst Grove had become even more lost. Once the light had faded after having been pulled from the darkness, however she had gotten lost in Hell, she was slightly dazed but kept her posture as confident as ever. Her outfit was fairly simple. However, a small pendant occasionally would peek from behind her shirt, glinting softly in the pale light. Hearing voices nearby, she kept where the area was well lit, but approached. "Excuse me..." Slightly pointed ears peeked out from underneath her long hair, which floated gently in the breeze. "I was hoping to find a safe place to rest."

Samuel Leo had posted a carved sign for all to see. Clearly it read in english, or common. Safe House. Free Food, Water and Shelter offered! So when Maevirin stepped forward to the plate, the malnourished man pulled out a paper bag of food, and handed it over to her. A glass of water was also handed over to her, and a gesture of inside the church was made. "It is the safest place that I know of, Miss. Samuel, and you are?" was asked to her, offering her a polite smile before blue eyes shifted back to Stella. "Prostitute is a woman who engages in sexual activity for profit, Stella. It is a not a good thing to do." he explained, smiling to her warmly. "God Bless." was his reply to her thanks, and when she walked uncomfortably and sat down on the bench, Samuel grasped another glass of water and walked over to offer it to her. "Here you are. Drink." was said to her, settling down into a indian sitting position as free hand slipped that bible back into his ragged stained and torn pockets.Samuel Leo his torn and ragged shirt with obvious signs of malnourishment. Yet here he was, giving out food and water. "Only one bag, though, okay Stella? Please, ma'am, feel free to grab one for yourself and water if you desire. Do you both mind if I pray over the both of you?" was asked to them as he simply leaned back and enjoyed the outside and sunshine. The medicines that the resurrection hound had left? Samuel had already pocketed those. Didn't want anybody stealing or fighting over such rarities.

Intergalactic: A new face approaches the church. Stell nods her head in greeting and extends a friendly greeting like those who welcomed her here had. "Hi, I am Stella!" She says to the elf with a grin. Samuel's explanation has her pausing for a moment. She just needs a minute or so to process the English. "Oh... sorry. I am not speaking English well." It must have been awkward for him to explain what a prostitute was to a woman probably twice his age. He offers her another glass of water and she drinks that as well, ignoring the odd flavor that this water had to it. One bag. No problem. She had food back at her place. Stell goes rummaging through the paper sack she'd been given and pulls out some snackfood, glancing over the packaging curiously.

Maevirin of Fryhst Grove blushed softly. "Maevirin. It's a pleasure, sir." She gave a friendly smile however. It was by mere luck that her outfit looked unscathed, but when the food was offered, her stomach couldn't help the sound of hunger emitting. A hand rested over that noisy section of her body, trying to quiet it. "Sorry... I traveled quite a ways, found myself lost on a good few occasions." She looked to the Sanctuary, letting out a happy sigh. "So, this place is a safe place, yes?" She gave a gentle nod, taking one of the bags, and the water, then sitting in the grass. Looking toward Stella, she giggled. "Stella... that is a lovely name... reminds me of the stars." She pulled some food out as well, and would nibble quietly at it.

Samuel Leo chuckled as Mae blushed. "No reason to be blushing." was said, shaking his head as blue eyes shifted back to Stella as she introduced herself. "Nice greeting Stella." was said, chuckling warmly. Encouraging her to be nice and outspoken was perhaps a bad idea. She grasped Samuels simple teaching and he shrugged. "It's okay, not everybody is here." And although one would think it was awkward for Samuel, he really didn't even think on it. Letting it slide by without a care. When she took the second water and downed it fast, Samuel shook his head and laughed. "You need to know Bible right now! With how thirsty you are!" was jested lightly, placing the glass back onto the table. Settling down between the ladies as she observed the contents in the paper sack. Three cans of food. Protein, thus beans. Veggies, and fruits. It also contained a plastic spoon. Samuel Leo smiling to her as she gave a happy sigh. Samuel nodded. "Best one I know of. Keeps out most demons and noxsines." Eyebrow rose as she mentioned stars. "Wow...you know. I didn't think on that. But it's true huh?" Blue eyes shifted to the church. "There are no rooms...but there are pews to sleep on. You are more then welcome to stay the night, the both of you if you want."

Intergalactic didn't even try to pronounce Maevirin's name out of fear of butchering it. "Oh, I like stars," she comments. A head tilt. She has to wonder what being thirsty has to do with his book. Stell gives him a mildly confused look as she opens her can of fruit and digs her spoon into the contents. "Oh, I have place to stay, but thank." Perhaps she shouldn't be taking free food if she has a place to stay. Then again, it's really only a run down old cabin with no electricity or plumbing.

Maevirin of Fryhst Grove smiled softly. "Thank you, Samuel." She sipped at her water while munching quietly at the fruit as well. Sometimes, it was the simple things that got the woman to smile. Though, when the noxsine were brought up, the elven woman frowned. "Hopefully demons who saved the innocent from the noxsine are alright. I was... misplaced in a dark area... and two demons kept those dark beasts from devouring my soul." Well, it had also been a bit of her own supernatural abilities of course, but she'd not learned anything to get herself out of hell yet. Hopefully, she wouldn't have need to learn it either.

Samuel Leo nodded in agreement. "They are pretty, and shine a nice bright light in the dark. Like Angels and God sometimes even has done." The confused look had Samuel chuckling at her. "You'll understand in time if you come back." was said to her. Nodding as she claimed she had a place to stay. "It is no problem. Stella. Please feel free to stop by again, okay? If you need food, or water or help...I'll be glad to help you." He turned to nod to Mae and smile at her. "God Bless." Eyebrow rose when she said DEMONS saved her. The hellll. "From the Noxsine?" blink. Interesting. "I would like to meet them...someday. Perhaps you can steer them to me? Glad you're alright though and safe." Another smile casted both their ways. "How have you been faring so far? Any interesting stories? I saw a Raptor recently."

Intergalactic: Hmm, something was familiar about the word noxsine. Likely, someone had brought it up around her recently (besides today, obviously). Demons saving people? That certainly sounds similar to something that happened to her, but that was a story for a different time. "Yes, I will come back," she replies, glancing out the window. Oh, shoot, it's getting later. "Thank you, was nice to meet. Must go home before dark." With that, Stell gets up and skitters out of the church quickly. She really needs to invest in a source of light for her night time travels...

Maevirin of Fryhst Grove gave a soft nod. "I was lost... and the two spotted me before I could wander into a dark alley. Lucifuge and Arioch." As Stella got up to head out, the elf gave a warm smile. "Please be safe." She continued to sip at her water, still a little on edge from the events. But, she felt safe there, even with the approaching darkness. "If there is need for any light here, I will be more than happy to do what I can. Don't hesitate to ask, Samuel." She lifted a hand, and a pale light would emit from it. "I learned a good deal of magic from my people, a good portion of which was light."

Higanbana could be seen from far away despite her size. The white dress stood out as much as the black hair that was hanging over half of her face. She walked hunched over with her hands holding her elbows and her shoulders curved inward as if to protect herself from something unseen. Her black eyes were kept lowered to the ground but she seemed to have some idea as to where she was going, for she eventually stopped within reach of the one giving foor and water away. Her head turned so that her face was away from both of them and the thick ebon locks dropped across her shoulders and her chest. "H...hungry..." she whispered. Her arms wrapped tighter around herself.

Samuel Leo nodded as she admitted she was lost, though Samuel had no doubt she didn't see herself as LOST as like Samuel would. "As I said, steer them towards here. I will be certain to not harm your newfound friends. Just curious to see who they are and what their motives are." It was when she turned her head that Sameul noticed the strange ears. Odd. "Hm, what are you?" he asked softly, blue eyes looking at her tip that was now clearly spotted and seen throughout her hair. The mention of need for light had Samuel pondering over it before nodding. "It might help those who are lost in the dark. We could perhaps, do this every day, really. To help those who need a light to guide them to safety." The mention of magic did not surprise Samuel. "Do you believe in a higher power?" was asked, curious of course. Simply curious for now, lucky her. Bright blues shifted to watch Stella leave. "She will be a great follower of Christ.." if she chose to believe, anyway. Samuel Leo but soon saw something moving out in the distance like the haunted horror movies you've seen in the past. Blue eyes narrowed in suspicion briefly, but her request was clear. "Yes." he said with a smile. Bravery was only known to Samuel due to his deep faith in Christ keeping him protected. It hadn't let him down so far. Hand out reached to touch her on the shoulder if he wasn't stopped. "Would you like some food and water? Before it gets dark, you can rest here too, if you want. My name is Samuel." he was warmly bravely extending a hand out and offering her food. If in fact, that touch did connect...no doubt she'd be feeling such a warmth and joy spreading from this man to her that it would be nearly impossible to believe. She also could see, that although Samuel appeared human, he had something ELSE in his chest. There was such happiness, joy and peace that exuded from Samuel, it probably was almost blinding as it was comfortable to be around for this woman. Samuel Leo the thoughts he had, was of course, worry over her. She could also hear him actually praying softly to God. Over her, a mere stranger, over Stellas safe passage back to home, over Samantha, and over Maevirin. He was also asking God questions of course, and the last question he always asked him, but yet had to recieve an answer. When God, does your servant get to come home? If there was nothing else she could tell, that heavy longing in him was evident when he asked that last question. His thoughts were nothing but of good, purity and caring love that was impossible to expect in a human being in times like these. He was obviously malnourished, and with all the food he had here, he could easily remedy it. But instead, he was grabbing a sack and glass of water, offering it over to her if she stayed. "Here, drink and eat and rest. Please."

Maevirin of Fryhst Grove continued to sip at her water and nibble at her food. Though as the question of what she was sounded, she gave a soft smile. "I am of the Elven people. As for those I look to, the Seldarine... the gods of my people." Her eyes turned up to note the young lady coming closer, and she gave a warm smile. Reaching into her bag, she pulled out another small can, opening it and offering it to the girl. "Poor dear... here, I don't think I can eat all of what's in this bag, so I will be more than happy to help." She was half tempted to offer some of that good food to Samuel as well, seeing that he was looking quite thin as well. In fact, she took in a soft breath, opening the last can within her own bag and handing it to him. "Please, Samuel... eat. You need your energy as well." She felt the man was becoming a friend to her, as well.

Higanbana kept her face averted and her hands clutching her elbows tight when she first reached them. "Light in the dark..." she whispered. "Small lights...Don't follow, don't follow." Her whispering continued unti la hand was on her shoulder. She turned her face towards him so quickly that the hair swung away from her pale skin, leaving her small features and large, dark eyes visible. They were eyes filled with haunting with the shine of the unhinged. Her straight brows were beginning to furrow but smoothed back into place. Tears began to pour down her face, catching in her lashes and splashing onto the part of her dress closest to her neck and collarbones. She would seem to have been frozen in place, saying no word to either of them and their kind offers. Her eyes lowered from Samuel's to his chest while the silent tears continued to roll down her cheeks. "Light in the dark," she whispered as her head shook sadly. "The worst is yet to come..."

Samantha Lilyette felt like she had been sleeping for ages. After passing out yesterday, she'd had a long, nightmarish sleep, perhaps the archdemons appearance having spurned her mind to think of nothing but that fear. Finally she had awoken, but had noticed it was but the late afternoon, and before too long it would likely be evening... There was not enough time for her to get back to the sanctuary tonight, hopefully she could return the following day. Departing from the room Samuel had placed her in the night before, she would notice how bare the halls of the church was before departing out the front. As her right ear was deaf, she did not notice the small gathering of people nearby, her head first turning left, and then right. Spying Samuel, and the two unknown female she would approach and nod her head gently towards the man. "Thank you for your help last night...I do not remember why I had fallen unconscious." Truly she hadn't, her nightmares having made her forget the Samantha Lilyette: appearance of the demon all together. "I feel I may have to stay another night, if that is alright with you?" Her hands folded over her front as she gazed down over the two women once more, before pink eyes landed back on Samuel, waiting for his response. Samantha wasn't trying to be rude...she just honestly had nothing to say to new company.

Kasteo Lor in the midst of the End Times he was a pretty strange sight. While in brighter days he'd walk with a very pronounced swagger and probably a bevy of immoral young people surrounding him, he still dressed like he was going to a party. It was all a delightful ruse, however, since the clothing was the only thing genuine about any of it. The dagger at his hip was a deadly and fine weapon that he had no idea how to use, and the sword was actually glued to the sheath, because they were absolutely no blade attatched to it. Add on top of that that the entire outfit was sort of like a stripper's idea of what a male duelest should look like, and it almost instantly gave away that Kasteo was not entirely how he presented himself in the way he dressed. He also had a fairly worried look on his face, and was walking towords them, then away, and then towords them again, unsure of if to approach, or how.

Samuel Leo Elven people was soon enough questioned with God, and Samuel idly wondered why all the secrets of all his other creations he had made. "I see." came his soft reply. Not wanting to diss her religion but in Samuels' eyes, it was a false god. When she offered her the can of fruit, Samuel actually looked at her in surprise. Most did not do that, they insisted on saving it for themselves later. His eyes shifted back to her as she started to speak like a lost person with such motions of someone who just might have been touched by that disease. Oh he hoped it wasn't her, praying over it fervently briefly, only to blink as he was offered a can of food from the very person he was serving. "I had a full bag." was assured to her, bright blue eyes shifting into hers as he smiled. "Sometimes you know, we aren't so lucky on food runs. But Virigina has been doing good lately." Samuel Leo only to see how she froze up when his hand touched Higan. Blue eyes widened in shock as he saw her tears fall and that peaceful look cross her face, but it was filled with such sorrow. Samuel felt horrible for her and without consideration of what might happen to him, the "Light in the Dark" wrapped those arms around her and hugged her tight to his chest. "It'll be alright....shhh. It's okay now, you have found the light in the dark, that's right." was said. Hand lifted to pet through her hair gently, trying to soothe the poor over wrecked woman. "You are safe now, you can rest...eat..." His prayer had fully shifted over to her, praying fervently that the Lord comfort her and give her peace, using him as a vessel for it. That light shined and pulsed heavily in his chest. Samanthas approach was noted, but Samuel simply lifted a free finger to his lips, offering her a smile as he nodded and jerked his head towards a bag of food and a glass of water. She was welcomed to partake.
Samuel Leo it was the stranger walking back and forth that had Samuel laughing brightly in amusement. "Come, please. Partake in food and drink and rest. We are offering shelter and help." was quietly said to the man when he neared a second time, only to continue his soothing and prayers and mind being focused on comforting the poor crying Higan.

Maevirin of Fryhst Grove gave a soft smile. "Then you should eat, Samuel." She looked to the others as they approached, though gave a soft cooing sound as Higan started to cry. "I may be new to this area, but I know you are safe here as well. It's ok. You are safe with us." She gently reached out, letting that soft glow of her hand wash over the girl. "My name is Maevirin." Whatever the beliefs, she wasn't about to push her own religion on others. She had her own prayers, her own beliefs. She could educate others on her customs, but she would never try to force another to follow the teachings she was raised on. She would fall quiet for now, trying to aid with the warmth and light.

Higanbana was at first tense against the arms around her. She was not unlike a wild animal that could bite at any minute. The potential for danger passed with uncommon ease as she leaned against the source of the light. The tears gradually calmed with only a few strays leaving once in a while, not that they could be seen for how her face was pressed against his chest - close to the light. This was no spirit she had ever encountered. Her murmured words would not have made any sense. They sounded like no language but a jumble of sounds and fragmented words as she tried to speak with it, to understand...Another light touched her afterward, leaving Biyu a little overwhelmed. Her face turned slightly so that she could peer at Maev with one black eye. Her chapped lips parted again, moving to make words that had no sound. Then she rasped her name forth. "Biyu...Biyu..." There were others present. The fellow approaching was seen from the safe haven of two exceptionally unusual people, and then
Higanbana: Samantha whom she recognized. She rubbed the back of her fingers against her eyes and then exhaled a shuddering breath.

Samantha Lilyette gazed down curiously towards the woman whom was embraced by Samuel, watching as he comforted her, Samantha could very faintly recognize her, but drew no name, perhaps out of willful ignorance, or true forgetfulness. Eyes briefly flicked over the other woman before she nodded towards Samuel and moved around to get herself food and water. When Samuel greeted the new stranger, her head turned to cast a glance over her shoulder to the man. Slight surprise appeared on her face... She hadn't seen another of her kind in quite a long time, at least one she wasn't related to. Gazing him over for a few seconds, she would then look away, pouring herself a glass of water to sip upon, taking up a spot beside Samuel. When the woman would draw away from Samuel and spoke her name would Samantha give a small nod of acknowledgement to her. "Samantha, but I prefer Sam." Was her own introduction to the other woman whom Samantha truly did not know, and perhaps the strange man
Samantha Lilyette: wandering along the road just a bit away from them, if he over-heard it at all in any case. Those pink eyes were drawn low, a thoughtful look upon her face, as if thinking of something else, or perhaps just getting herself lost in her own world.

Kasteo Lor approached a little closer at the beckoning of the priest, though his eyes moved continously from one to another, landing on Samantha and staring for a few moments before going back to searching each of their faces carefully. "The eyes give it away..." he murmered to himself, as if a reminder. "Ah...I ...well I don't mean to ruin the game, and...and maybe I've taken a wrong turn but..." he looked from left to right, down the road and then up it to the church, and finally back to the people clustered together near the swing. "Is this real? It is real, isn't it? I mean it's not...." He made a vague gesture with his hands and blinked. "Are you faeries? Is this glamour? Am I under the hill again? Or are you...." Again, vague motions with his hands, "You know...uh...of a single body and mind?" What the hell kind of question was that?

Samuel Leo the reminder had Samuel chuckling softly. "Alright, I will soon as she is settled, okay?" was said to Maevirin, giving her a smile as she tried to reach out to Higan, who despite crying on Samuels' shoulder happily after a moment of tension, peeked out at her. "Samuel," he said softly to her, thought Light in the Dark was awesome to hear. Samuel was sort of pleased that God was still showing himself so visibly. Hand lifted to softly drag his thumb across her cheek. And although maybe, Samuel could not understand. God definitely heard her but his reaching out to her was brief. "Is that your name?" he asked her softly, hand lifting to press a bag into her own hand. "Food." Smiling at her as she exhaled that breath. "That's right, relax. Take a load off." was mentioned to her, blue eyes dancing with that joy that she felt briefly enter her, fade away when she stepped away from Samuels embrace.
Samuel Leo introducing them before pausing. "You hu-" Blinking once, before Samuel busted up laughing again. "I am of sound single body and mind sir, I assure you. Samuel." was offered, hand gestured out for the man to shake and see that he was real. "This is not make believe, unfortunately, the end times have come. Are you hungry? Do you want some water? Maybe a bit of a rest for you? Since you've been traveling on your feet? Feel free to join the crowd, rest for the night...here." he'd stop and turn around, grabbing a sack of food and water if in fact, Higan had taken the sack from his hands and water. If so, he'd hand that over to the man and just place it into his hands, before turning back to Higan. "Why don't we go talk inside? You want to get some things off your chest?" was asked softly, blue eyes gazing at her with a worried gaze. Still praying over everyone while he did talk out loud? Yep.

Maevirin of Fryhst Grove was still calm, the light that she held within providing its own warmth and caring. She nodded to Samuel, giving him a smile. "I will hold you to that, you know." The elf was quite a sweet lass. "Thankfully, I am not overly tired. Though, a place to rest for the evening would be nice. Is there a place to make a fire inside? If only for a physical warmth, and perhaps I can find some food to cook for us all." While hidden, the elven woman did carry weapons of her own aside from her magic. But, the weapons were merely for self defense, or defending others.

Higanbana's nod to Sam was short and uneasy. Her eyes trained on the lapine woman for a moment and then on the man that was probably more lost and conufused than she was. She turned her face with the hand touching it and took the name of the man possessing the light. Her lips curved into a smile that they had not worn in so long, leaving her face with a youthful, peaceful appearance. The tension slipped away from her and for just a moment, she looked as if she might float away from them and never return. Other questions were being asked but she stared off in a daze with a hint of that smile still lingering on her lips. Her lids closed and with a sigh, her body dropped. Perhaps the amount of power from both sources overwhelmed her to the point of fainting, or whatever the spirit had caused in her. In any case, she was down and out for the count, but appeared to be in perfect serenity for someone that had just fallen.

Samantha Lilyette gave the man a strange look as he asked if they were of the same mind and body. But she didn't respond. Her brows arched high when Biyu suddenly fainted and she stood up, getting to her feet, but didn't make any attempts or moves to help the woman. Looking over to Samuel, she would wait to see what the man would do, after all he seemed to be the one in charge there. Her eyes slid back to Kasteo for a moment or two before she would enter the church, it'd be dark soon...and they needed to go inside before the darkness fell, Samantha knew that all too well.

Kasteo Lor looked to the elf who didn't seem to care that he was there, to the priest who was very nice, and at last to Higanbana who was doing something very strange. She fainted, and Kasteo's hands instantly rose, "Was not me, I didn't do it, someone else did it. Also..." He pointed at Samuel, "I'm inclined to believe you, since Fae never pray, being without souls it would hardly do them any good, but if this is not real, and you are playing a joke on me, it's funny but I'm still going to be very disappointed in you!" Them was fighting words. He skirted around the group, in particular keeping very far away from Higa so everyone knew it wasn't his fault that she passed out. "No thank you. I had lunch several hundred years ago, I think. I'm not hungry yet." This fellow might be a little unhinged. One thing was certain, he was not at all sure what was real and what was not, because when he reached the church, he closed his eyes and pushed at it with his finger, as if he expected it to move,
Kasteo Lor or his finger to pass through it. He opened his eyes and rubbed his finger on the stone of the church before he chased after Samantha, "Hey, wait! Pretty lady, pretty lady, wait, can I ask you a few questions?" He'd duck into the church behind her.

Samuel Leo snorted in amusement as she warned that. "Yes, I know." was said softly in reply, blue eyes looking over the people, and Maes words did not fall on death ears. Those bright blues shifted to her briefly. Soon they gazed back at Higan when his question was answered, and he nodded at her. That smile that rose across her face had Samuel smiling back at her. "That's it. See? All better." giving her encouragement as his grip started to fall away from her, only to catch her when that sigh sounded of pure bliss. How her face lit up and Samuel couldn't do much but stare in amazement and catch her from hitting her head, gripping her in those somewhat weak arms to lift her up bridal style. "I...I don't think I thought of that, but it's a good idea. We do have blankets though...can you help me move that stuff inside?" was asked to her, nodding his head to the boxes still fill with food and water.
Samuel Leo staring still at Higan in the briefest of surprises. Did God grant her the peace Samuel had been praying over. Perhaps he was forcing her to calm and relax, by forcing her sleep that she likely heavily needed. "I'll uh...I'll get her set up on a pew. Get her a bag near her with water...in case she wakes up in the middle of the night too..." was muttered, pushing back her hair to frown at her state. It would take days for her to get back to her somewhat strength like himself. "Then I will eat after, I swear on my faith." Which was something really big for Samuel to swear on. Looking up to Samantha as she gazed up at Samuel in curiosity and his blue eyes just continued to gleam on. "Psalm: 34:18 The Lord is near to brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." he said softly to her, as she was obviously curious as to what happened. Samuel simply explained it in one verse. Blue eyes shifted to Kasteo and he simply shook his head at him as he grinned.
Samuel Leo"Nope, God did this." An eyebrow rose as he smiled at him when he said he was inclined to believe him. His ramblings were odd and had Samuel wondering if he didn't have the start of the insanity plague. But perhaps that's why he had wandered here, to be healed by it. "Alright, no worries. If your thirsty don't hesitate to grab a glass of water." Though the way he entered the church was...odd. It definitely had Samuel furrowing his brows at the guy as he ran in, but Samuel would still step in after him, shaking his head in slight amusement as he breathed out a brief chuckle of amusement. Today had been a good day.

Maevirin of Fryhst Grove gave a soft smile as she nodded. "Of course. Let's get inside, and get the place warmed." She moved over to pick up the food and water, following inside with a soft chuckle to the others. Dear Biyu, the elf could tell the poor soul needed the rest. Once inside, Maevirin would follow to the pew that Samuel would rest the girl upon, setting some water and food nearby so that she would have it before moving the box to a safe spot. She then moved to the fire place, preparing it with tinder, then starting it up. The warm glow would fill the area, and she glanced over to the others. "Get rest. I will keep watch." She didn't appear tired at all, and in truth, the woman could stay awake as long as needed.

Samantha Lilyette heard the man calling after her as she entered the church. Her head turning to gaze over her shoulder at him as he would enter. Settling herself down onto one of the pews she gazed at him curiously. "I did give my name earlier..." Was remarked softly to him as her hands settled into her lap. "Yes sir? You had some questions?" Her brows rose high as she waited for those questions to come. Samantha slowly gazed over his ears curiously, over the mottled markings on his skin... So much like her in ways. Her head tilted gently as she thought about it. When was the last time she had encountered another of her kind? One whom she was not related to? Samantha found she had no answer for this. As the others came inside, she glanced over them briefly. "I am not tired yet." Was her response to the elf.

Kasteo Lor froze when she said something about her name. He stood there, obviously confused, and then finally he nodded several times. "Yes yes yes! Manners, I'm sorry, manners. Ah...I am...ahhh Kasteo. Lor. Kasteo Lor. But only Kasteo matters, yes? I mean, here, that's what I mean." He shook his head and waved his hands, "I promise I'm not as crazy as I probably look right now. Yes, listen, pretend for a moment that the last thing I can remember is the first sure sign the War was coming, only coming, yes? Not started? That is all. So...." He rubbed his hands together, "How long has it been since then? And who won? And where is here? And how many of us survived?" At first he only said "Us" but he then gestured to his ears to indicate their kind.

Samuel Leo when she nodded, Samuel offered her a bright smile. "Thank you." while he carried Biyu into the realm of what was all good feel and comfort. Resting her head gently with a pillow, he'd rush over to get some blankets from the corner as he placed them over her, only to gaze up at Mae as she started the fire. "Please do not use paper to burn it, though....each paper...each bible. Holds notes of my...reading over my faith." Smiling at her. His eyes shifted as Kasteo asked his questions to Samantha. Samuel opted not to answer, as he was not asking Samuel. Instead he checked over Biyus pulse, and her over all health. Tipping her head up for some water at least, he'd then let her swallow it and step back to give her space as well. Grasping a semi torn blanket, he'd wrap it around himself as he huddled in the corner of the church near the flames, pulling out his bible from his large side pocket in his pants as he cracked it open, pencil being grasped as he started to write quietly.

Maevirin of Fryhst Grove gave a nod. She gave a smile to Samuel, motioning that what she was using was merely wood that was already within the building, smaller sticks included, and a bit of her own magic to start the fire up. "No need to worry about my burning that. I was taught at a very young age that books... paper in general... it is not to be burned." Once the fire was going strong, she rested herself nearby. Her gaze shifted to one of the nearby windows, but she shook her head. So long as they were near the light, yes? She gave a relaxed sigh, though kept on alert. Listening to the other two as they talked, she let her eyes close softly. Though, it seemed that the elf was actually quite tired. Within a few moments, her head had dipped forward, the soft sounds of sleep being heard.

Samantha Lilyette looked to Kasteo curiously as he would talk to her, brows furrowing together at his question. "I know as much as you do." Samantha didn't have any memories of how the war even started... "Samuel could tell you more than I ever could." Her hand waving over to the preacher. "I...am not sure how many of our kind have survived, you are the only one I have seen in ages...for all I know, we may be the last of our kind." A yawn came from her, hand moving to rub at her eyes tiredly. "...Excuse me, I need to sleep..if you are still here tomorrow Kasteo...I can answer more questions for you." A curtsy was given before she departed to sleep elsewhere inside the church.

Kasteo Lor looked individually from one to the other. "Tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow...." He murmered. No answers, though one thing made his ears perk. "Ages...surely not ages." His eyes swept the room again and blinked, "Sixty years? Not more than sixty. Maybe....listen..." His ears raised, both of them, and his head whipped around towords the door. "When..." he licked his lips and looked at the three of them, speaking in a whisper. "When you hear them, yes? The pipes. The music. When you see the Feast, see the golden light....you're not really there. Not yet. You can only reach the Eternal if you're invited. I found out the hard way. I'll explain....tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow." And if left to his own devices, would find a corner somewhere to curl up, almost like a child, and he would sleep.
