Alright! So I've gotten this question a few times and I wanted to see if there was an easy way of doing this. So I have my solution!
As many of you know, in order to host an OPEN RP in the dream, you just ask one of the staff members to do it for you.
These RP's are rather spontaneous and usually, there's no prizes tied to them. (Unless you really want to.)
However, with our Events, a lot of people have asked if they could host their own event in the dream. The answer is YES! We actually encourage any and everyone to host events in the dream.
How do you do it, you ask? It's simple. Gather up all of the information, GIFs, and whatnot in a pastebin.com file and send it over to either myself, Maddi, Cakey, or RaeRae! Those are the staff members that have access to posting events on the forums.
Now, events usually have PRIZES associated with them. IF you don't have any prizes that you can offer, no problem! We, as a dream, are dedicated to helping out our visitors out with that. If you are unable to offer up your own prizes or only have one or two you can offer, I will personally make sure we are able to help you out with prizes.
Now, for a POINTS system... Yes, we have established a points system. If you host an open RP and you have 2+ people join, and each person in that RP posts at LEAST twice, all you need to do is post all of the logs on the forums with who participated and what that open RP emit was. Every Friday, Maddi will be tallying up the points and at the end of the month, we will draw to see who wins prizes for that month!
EDIT: Exciting news! Now, everytime you host a SUCCESSFUL rp, you get 2 points! And every time you join an open RP, you get 1 point! Your points never expire, which means you can let them rack up until you have enough for however long you want to rent a home! There's no limit to how many points you can use towards a home. (Or an avatar slot) So if you have 1 year's worth of points for a home, go ahead and cash it in and get 1 year worth of rent for a home!!
Also, during special events hosted by one of the staff, you could earn additional points for either impressing the staff member, making them laugh, or just being a fucking badass!
