Tua’Kaa (Part 1)
On the island there are snippets of history that can be uncovered should a curious soul be keen on investigation! Recently, information has been uncovered and is being transcribed so it may continue its place in Zyklian history:
The island was discovered decades ago by a small group of wayfaring Coastal Zykla; during a great migration they called the: Gekt’nii Kala. According to the information found, these Zykla had fled their previous island under the assumption that their beloved gods where not seeing eye to eye.
Solis quaked the earth more and more each year and Luna prompted the waves to climb ever higher in retaliation. The clash of earth and waves destroyed eons of history and worse yet, claimed several dozen of their members. To elude extinction, there was no choice but to move.
Tua’Kaa (Part2)
The tribe built boats, stocked supplies and would soon begin their arduous journey. Prior to departure there was infighting among tribe members. Some believed that this too shall pass; others were ready to test their fortune and venture into the unknown.
As the day of exodus swiftly approached, the internal strife had grown so terrible that the tribe split. The tribe that decided to make their Journey would follow a a coastal Eclipse Titian named Tua’Kaa.
The information on their journey and just how they survived their oceanic adventures seems scattered or lost. Likely to crop up with some digging. The excerpts seem to continue with the group already discovering the archipelago and the island being named after it's founder.

Quote:
“Poachers, seem to be a persistent problem as of late. Yet another tribe has made their way to our island. The boats were poorly made and our cousins half starved; it is a miracle they made it this far. We greeted them with food and hospitality. We nursed every single one of them back to health and heard their stories. We helped them build dens separate from our own but certainly just as sturdy and long standing.
They are welcome here.
It is the same as the others. Poachers came to their home, snatched what they could of our people and ran. While we cannot help them regain what is lost, we will do all we can to help them forge their future. Some of them worry about their prospects and if they will outstay their welcome.
This is not so.
We will gather a meeting of tribes. We will make it abundantly clear:
We welcome Zykla into our fold; whether they worship Solis, Luna or both. Family and kin will take precedent over origins and we will do everything we can for our own."

Tua'Kaa (Part 3)
Tua’Kaa housed many Zykla and various dens for tribes and individuals. Some have collapsed over the years, others have survived. Those in good condition on ones tribes have moved into and repaired over the years. It has been a written tradition for those that take on the biggest dens to look out for those within the smaller homes in a form of Zyklian noblesse oblige; as well as to take on the name of the island's founder to exonerate his attempt to create a pocket of lasting peace.
Public Opinion
Public Relations between Those on Petrel Island and Tua’Kaa had initially been harmonious. Initially. Somewhere down the line, a tremendous crack happened – no one is sure who cast the first stone but their decedents know the ripples.
There are whispers that the deterioration of Island relations may be saved with effort – whispers that are summarily squashed when they flitter their way to the surface.
NOTE: Many of the Island’s NPC inhabitants DO NOT trust Zykla, there are very, very few exceptions. Players are welcome to play Petrel Islanders! Should players rp a Lore abiding Petrel Islander we ask that the highest level of respect be maintained OOC as well as communication between players.
